"Went to install Windows Service Pack1 for Windows 7 Home Premium I bought from Royal in March, 2010. Software failed the Genuine Software test. Called Microsoft and they said this was a limited time developer version that had expired. This was the 2nd product key I got from Royal as the first one didn't work. I bought the software online and had the product key emailed to me. Seems the company is now out of business and their website is no longer active. I got burned! Now I have to pay Microsoft another $109 for another copy. I will be contacting the Attorney Generals office to have these guys investigated."
"Didn't investigate the site carefully and got ripped off (Windows 7 Pro came as an obviously opened box). Discs look genuine at least but who knows if the key will work. Avoid unless you have no scruples.

They have lower prices only on SOME, not on most software products. Shop around - there are plenty of reputable internet resellers offering the same software at a better price. Royal Discount is NOT an authorized reseller.

"I recently ordered a MacBook Pro and needed Windows XP to run a few legacy programs that did not have a Mac equivalent. It stinks that I actually need to pay for Windows XP again but that's the price you pay. I initially looked on ebay and found some good deals on OEM versions of XP for around $80. I was about to pull the trigger when I decided to look around a little more. I stumbled upon these guys and they were the only ones that were upfront about OEM versions not working w/Parallels 4.0 (they also sell the OEM version). I was thankful that I didn't waste the $80 on something that wasn't going to do the trick.

"Ordered on Thursday, received following Monday. Super quick shipment of legit OEM software. This is the third time I've ordered from them.
EDIT:
4th shipment is the charm I guess. I ordered a copy of Office 2007 Enterprise. It came in a case that said "HOME USE PROGRAM - Not for resale" and had a cd key slapped on the back. I assume the cd key is a legit enterprise key, but it was in the wrong case. On top of that, the dvd came loose in the case, and wasn't readable when I received it.
I called and they are sending me another one out at no charge and are paying for this one to be sent back."
