"Order placed for Xbox, Halo and Halo 2. Only received Xbox and Halo2 with it noted on the packing slip that Halo was on back order. I was still charged for the whole order @ $249.98. I
e-mailed customer service on 12/30, 1/12 and went through the whole website looking for a phone number. There are none listed and I received no response to my e-mails. The Bizrate logo was displayed on the website. I found out after contacting Bizrate that Redzuco.com was not registered with Bizrate nor were they authorized to display the Bizrate logo. I tried the tracking system on the Redzuco website and after logging in it only brought me right back to the login page after I hit "track order". On 3/18/05 I received no response and had no way of contacting Redzuco so I filed a case with the BBB, Complaint ID#: 90054228. The BBB received no response after several attempts to contact Redzuco as of 4/18/05. On 4/20/05, Redzuco.com finally responded and honored the rebate I sent in along with refunding $49.00 for Halo. I received an e-mail on 4/22/05 from Anita Harvin @ Redzuco.com stating the rebate check was mailed. I did receive the check a couple of days later for a total of $89.00.
This took 5 months of e-mails and complaints before the issue was resolved. I will never use Redzuco.com again. This experience has taught me to always find and verify a customer service number before dealing with any website.
I would like to add that we have had no problems with the Halo 2 game or the Xbox. The product is great but the service I can not deal with.

"My scanner purchase was done at this store SOLELY due to the fact that they have rebates. I am smart enough to keep everything--I mean, I even have a photocopy of the envelope I used to send in my forms back in Feb!

But they stink for getting the money out that they owe, so I have begun my assult:

1) hundreds of daily emails of the same message.

2) at least 4 30-page faxes to them a day.

3) a nice call each day.

4) emails to all personnel I have.

there is another thread in this forum somewhere with all the email and fax and phone numbers, and many many many more posts on this exact company.

They are fraudsters and some, myself included, have also contacted police, BBB, Atty General, and even the FBI. I contacted Network Solutioons, where they have their site set up, and I also had my Visa card put a charge back authorization on my card for the $30 they owe me. I told Visa that "no, not all the parts of the product arrived. The final part was a rebate and it is more than 13 weeks out." I faxed them 40 pages of material, including printouts frmo the other thread on this company and all info on my rebate, which I kept.

Some would think this is nuts but hey, you are talking to someone who NEVER loses a battle with a rebate scammer and trust me, they are not the only ones! But they sure have made out on this deal and I want to bring them down--or at least get back my $30! Yes it is worth the battle. They tell me to be patient but trust me, this is not over til I see the money. I continue to SPAM them as we speak and will jam up the fax and even mail them letters. All it costs is a bit of time and some 37 cent stamps.

In my messages(s) I had suggested you tell me a date for solid payment, or give me a payment schedule. I have been very patient all along but it was you who changed all of that. Remember that you did not hear from me until I found that you were already rather late on sending me my $30 payment. That's when I started contacting you.

I think you should send it now and then you will done hearing from me. Otherwise this cannot stop. How could it? Think about it. So make it easy on yourself and kindly do what is right. The week is new and I have allllll the time in the world to spend on this. For you, all it takes is a pen and a check book, a 37cent stamp and a phone call or confirmation email stating that the check is in the mail. Of course it has to actually arrive in a timely manner and it has to also cash without bouncing, but if you can send it I leave you alone. Call this what you will but ask yourself what you would do if this was all in reverse!

Lastly, I would overnight my payment to ensure proper handling and delivery! Soon I will have to start charging fees for all my wonderfully helpful tips on how you should run your business. Obviously you have a problem with deliverables and I bet this hurts the bottom line.

I am expecting my money now!

"I too have been ripped off by redzuco.com. I bought a 512 MB SD card from them via Ebay on Dec. 6, 2004. I was supposed to get a $30 rebate, sent everything in on time and still have received nothing. When I used their online rebate customer support form, Anita Harvin emailed me asking me if I was the purchaser and what was the purchase date? I had already included all of this information, but sent it again. She has read my several emails asking the status because I get a returned read receipt however I have not received any new information regarding my rebate. I'll be in Killeen, TX next month and I'm tempted to make a trip to their office in Austin if it actually exists.

"the seller Redzuco.com is rated terribly on your site and with good reason They offered a rebate on a purchase of an Epson Scanner Item # ***-***-**** and has sytematically now refused to follow thru on the sales obligation.I have copied text of a month long attempt to get an answer from this outfit to no avail, except as shown in accompanying copied Email a standard reply of "will contact you in 1-2 business days" ( this was a week ago) I hope you can follow the sequence of letters and replies. "Redzuco does not seem to honor rebate offers. Be wary of their offers and selling practices and do not buy from them. I am out $50 despite complying to the letter of their rebate requirements. "I ordered a GPS Receiver on 2/7/05 from Redzuco.com The primary reason I ordered this product from this company was the $50 rebate. The shipping of the product took longer than I expected and my numerous email inquiries were never answered. The product finally arrived and I mailed my rebate form and marked my calendar 8 weeks out...the supposed date for my $50 rebate. The rebate never showed and I waited until week nine before I emailed the company. After numerous emails, I only got an auto reply message. I began surfing the web for a phone number. Thanks to this site, someone posted a valid number. I called and the woman answering the phone was very polite and confirmed my rebate form in their office and was being processed and I should receive in a week. That week passed, I called again, same answer..."it's being processed and you should get the check in a week." A week passed, no check, I called again, same answer, it's being processed and you should get the check in a week." Well, you get the picture. I am now on week 13 waiting for my 50 bucks. I get the same nice lady who gives me the same answer.
She promised to check into the problem herself and would call me today. The call never came and I called at 4:30pm and got their answering machine that stated they were open until 5pm.
If I do not receive the check in one week, I am initiating a full blown federal, state, and local investigation and possibly a class action.
This is a problem that needs to be stopped and will not allow this type of business to continue to take advantage of honest, hard-working people.
