"Same rebate issue as others. Many emails no response aside from the automated response. Made contact via phone and talked to an employee. She took my name and a moment later, came back the phone and confirmed my identity with "that was for $50, right?" She was going to pass this on to Krista Oguz whom I will call tomorrow. Not holding my breath. Thanks to all reviews and contact information. I'll try to update.

UPDATE
05/13/05 - I've received my $50 rebate. Had to call Redzuco @ ***-***-**** to get results. Took two weeks from first call to receipt. Keep on them, they'll respond.

"I submitted my rebate request to Redzuco on around Nov. 9, 2004. I waited until Jan 23. 2005, then I contacted to them. Firstly they told me that they could not find my rebate request and asked me to fax it in order to process my rebate right away. I faxed rebate request, but still did not receive the rebate. After that, I emailed twice to inquire, but they no longer responded to me. Later I directly wrote to a person who answered my questions before I submitted my rebate request. She said they had sent out the rebate someday. Knowing I have not received the rebate, she said she would check when I can receive the rebate. Then no answer any more. Then I called them, and they told me they would give me rebate in a week. Until now they even did not answer my phone call.
Alert: stay away from Redzuco!

"Goods received as advertised (ebay; invoice number above is ebay item number). Item had rebate, which had problems receiving, which I had thought was due to Redzuco situation. Found out later that company I work for, which was ship-to address for goods, had cashed my rebate check 0-: . In any event, Redzuco handled situation well, with quick responses to my e-mails and help with tracking down problem."

"This is probably the most underrated coompany out there. And, it seems like only the dissatisfied customers come here to post stuff. nevertheless, I bought a camera from them, got it on time. Rebate processing is slow, but it works. I emailed ****@**** and got a response. Turns out, I forgot to attach the UPC code and they still honored the rebate! Thank you redzuco."

"this is a hideous company; just like everyone else here, they never sent me my rebate, nor do they respond to any inquiries...
Its not worth the $50.00 to me to contact the BBB, FBI, or anyone else, and, they have now left ebay under their "new" name of MERSINTECH...

I hope some of the folks here put these jerks in prison, defrauding the public just stinks!

" These people do not pay rebates! Run away if your purchase involves a rebate and save yourself the grief. Numerous e-mail requests unanswered. Rebate should have arrived within 6-8 weeks. It is now 16 weeks and counting. These people do not need a "break" but they do need a lesson in honesty."

"I bought a digital camera and san disk, sent the rebate form. After 12 weeks, I sent an email. Initially they said they are working on both the rebates and will send the cheque soon. Now they are saying that they did not receive rebate form for one of the item ($60 rebate). I sent both of them at the same time using certified email. Tracking # shows that they have received. Still contacting them.. let me see what they come up with.. before reporting to appropriate people.."

"I purchased the SanDisk 512 MB UltraII SD memory card. It arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I was very happy with the product.

HOWEVER

I'm also experiencing the Rebate runaround. Found "unsatisfactory record" at the Austin, TX Better Business Bureau (where they used to be). This also listed Mehmet Oguz as the principal for Redzuco/DSC Solutions - notice that another reviewer mentioned Krista Oguz as the rebate manager. I just faxed them all my rebate information AGAIN telling them I will make complaints to relevant authorities if I don't get a response in a few days. Prices are good and Delivery was fast - but Rebate payment is horrible.

I found a listing for Mehemt (not Mehmet) and Krista Oguz - still in Ausin, TX - nothing in Atlanta, GA.

"The item arrived quickly enough, and in the described condition, but the rebate has been extremely elusive. In the end I have emailed and called many times. I've waited well past the advertised 6-8 weeks for the rebate. Finally, I decided to report them to PayPal, the Post Master General (for mail fraud), and the FBI internet fraud division. I explained this to them, and they now assure me the rebate is on the way. If I don't recieve it shortly I will report them to Ebay, the Federal Trade Commission, my credit card company (charge back), local authorities where their headquarters are located... I know this seems like a lot of trouble for $20.00 - but it seems pretty clear that this is what their business plan relies on."

"I placed my order with Redzuco for a SanDisk 1G MP3 player on Tuesday, 2/23/05, and selected "expedited UPS" shipping as my option because my wife's birthday was the next Monday. Since their site stated 5-7 working days was normal, with many shipped in 1-2 days, I had hoped for quick service. Two days later, on Friday, having not received any shipping notice, I began contacting the company for information. I didn't hear from them until Monday. That email said they didn't have any shipping notice to send me. I got worried and started looking up the company on the Internet. That is when I found this site.

After reading the other postings, I began to feel like I had fallen into a trap. On 2/28 I contacted RedZuco and told them that since the product hadn't shipped yet, I would like to cancel the expedited shipping since it would not arrive in time for my wife's birthday. I was contacted the next day by Angela Dickey who said there was no shipping information to give me and did I want to cancel. Earlier that day, I noticed that my card had been charged for the amount of the purchase, and fearing the runaround others had experienced, I said I didn't want to cancel. On 3/2 I was informed that the product had shipped USPS on 3/1 and was given a tracking number. The product arrived on 3/3 and was everything I had hoped it would be. I stayed in contact with RedZuco because I wanted a refund of the "expedited UPS" cost I had paid, which after referring my request to their financial department, they did refund $6.

In all, I realized the only problems I had with RedZuco were due to my own impatience and to the bad press they received on this site. In fact, they delivered what they promised when they promised it. My order was shipped in 4 working days. They responded to my instructions to change the shipping option, saving me $6. The product was just as advertised. They responded in a timely manner to my many emails.

The only complaint I might have is in the sometimes cryptic nature of their responses. If they had provided a more thorough response, covering the current status of the order, I might not have gotten so anxious. The USPS tracking number they gave me proved worthless because the USPS didn't post any update on the shipment until after it had already arrived, leaving me to believe it hadn't even shipped.

I am currently awaiting the rebate check which should arrive in about 5-6 weeks. I will post an update here when/if that occurs.

Bottom line - don't believe all the negative press. I had a positive experience with RedZuco and would order from them again.

"I had no problems with Redzuco. It is very unfair competition to slander a seller, especially less than 6 hours after they just receive positive feedback. Not sure about the credibility of this rating system at all, but here's my experience:

Bought on March 15, delivered on March 18. Had no issues whatsoever although I wasn't expecting it that quick. Thank you.

"Seems like only the dissatisfied customers are posting their remarks here. I bought a PS2 and a Sandisk MP3 player from Redzuco and both were delivered in no time. I was refered to Redzuco by my cousin whou bought several items from them last Christmas and had no issues.

Give these guys a break, they had the lowest prices anywhere and they do deliver.

"I PURCHASED AN XBOX WITH AN CONTROLLER AND WAS SUPPOSED GET A REBATE OF $80 AND OF COURSE LIKE EVERYONE ELSE DID NOT RECEIVE IT. I HAD CONTACTED THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE WHEN I MADE THE PURCHASE TO SEE WHEN I WILL BE RECEIVING MY PURCHASE AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS OK, BUT THEY ARE NOT ORGANIZED I TALKED TO TWO DIFFERENT PEOPLE ON DIFFERENT OCCASIONS AND TWO DIFFERENT RESPONSES, ALSO I WAS NOT IN THEIR SYSTEM FOR SOME REASON WHEN I CALLED THEY DIDNT HAVE MY INFO BUT IF I GAVE THEM MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER I CAME UP(?), BUT I DID RECEIVE MY PRODUCT WITHIN A WEEK.
