"The worst company ever!! My husband ordered tools back in march and it's now the end of July and still no tools at all!!" they suck balls! Yes the worst customer service ever, seems like someone wakes up on the wrong side of the bed everyday! I've called and my husbands called and BOB is just horrible, not nice at all, and not very truthful either. I've taken action by reporting this company I will not stand for service like this from anyone at all! One mad/upset customer"

"After reading other comments here I realize my experience was not isolated. I run an automotive business in upstate NY and occasionally locate parts online. This company will surely be added to my list of never to purchase from again vendors. Shipment was paid for and no notice sent for parts out of stock. No reimbursement given after two phone calls. That is theft by the way! The worst part of the whole experience was how rudely I was treated on the phone. I am never unfriendly to anyone but apparently calling Race-Mart to ask where your 2 day shipped parts are after 2 days is pushing buttons!?? The Vehicle the parts were ordered for left my shop. I call Race-Mart to get reimbursed they say ok and a week later I get a box of parts. Guess I'll just have to eat the cost not worth fighting them in court. But a lot of internet sites are like this. I suggest shop around elsewhere."

"I was originally told about Race-Mart by a cam manufacturer they distribute for.
Since then I have made several purchases from Race-Mart in 2011 and 2012 probably totaling a couple thousand dollars, engine parts building a full roller 440. Yes, my initial purchase was based on price, who isn't looking for a good deal today when your spending thousands rebuilding a HP motor.

I stumbled into this site and was surprised at the negative feedback here as it was very different than my experiences.

Do I think they are perfect? No.

Do they always answer the phone? No.

Have they always called back when they said they would? Yes.

Did I have to wait an extra 5 days for one part in one of my orders? Yes.

Do I think Bob can be indifferent on the phone? Yes.

Did I pay for expedited shipping (2 day) when I asked for ground? Yes, but I didn't think it was enough to complain about so they didn't have an opportunity to respond.

Have I saved hundreds using Race-Mart? Yes

Have I had to return anything? No

Paul has been cordial and fine to deal with on the phone whether checking application specs with a supplier or checking on delivery.

Seems like a lot of these complaints could have been avoided if the buyer had done a little checking before placing the order rather than blindly checking the buy it now button.

If I had read all these reviews before ordering with Race-Mart I probably wouldn't have placed my first order - but after having placed multiple orders and read the negative reviews - I would still do business with them again.

"Worst service ever. I will likely have to repurchase elsewhere so I can get this car done. I placed an order on 6/14/12. I paid for 3 day select shipping. It is now 6/25/12 and still no parts. What makes me even more angry is there was no communication to tell me the item was out of stock or delayed. I sent an email on 6/22. No repsonse. I called today 6/25 and was told they would look into it and call back. All day and no call. If they have the parts here in the next 2 days and refund my upgraded shipping, I will write another review but so far, they seem to care less about the customer. "

"I had a great experience with Race-Mart. I placed an order and 7 days later it was at my house even though the web site said it wouldn't ship for 7-10 day.... it was a great surprise! The prices are the lowest I've found online and that is with the shipping included. I can't comment on the customer service because I had no need to call. Already shopping and going to place another order soon!"

"excellent service,promptly answered emails,being half way around the world its hard for me to get custom order head gaskets from cometic.
My local agents stuffed up my order twice!
Racemart came to the party with no hassels and great service.
I will definitley order off these guys in the near future.
Thanks for the ease of ordering my custom FJ20 Head gasket.
Even with freight added in it was still 150 bucks cheaper than getting through a supplier in NZ

"This is a terrible vendor and I recommend not buying from them. I ordered a stabilizer bar 2 April 9th and was promised it was in stock and would ship within 2 business days. However it's now April 19th and it's still not shipped. I've left messages (no one answers) but no return calls. Will never buy from Race Mart again."

"I ordered from RaceMart before reading the reviews. I followed up my order with a phone call the following morning to ensure that the parts I ordered were in stock as I need these parts within the next two weeks. Bob took my number and said he would check to see if the parts were in stock and call me back. Bob called back within the hour to tell me that a portion of my order was out of stock and that I would have to request a refund via their website. I did exactly that and Paul Fink emailed me back immediately to tell me they had credited my account for the parts they did not have. So far I am more than pleased with the service I have received. While Bob was not overly friendly (borderline indifferent) he answered my questions promptly. Mr. Fink refunded the money with no hassle. I will post again when I receive shipment for the parts that they have shipped."

"I placed an order for headlight bulbs. 15 days later I had not received them nor receive any update of the status. I called to find out the status. I had to leave a message. I called later and spoke to Bob. He said he would check on the order and call me back. 2 hours later, I heard nothing. I called back again, Bob informs me my headlight bulbs would not be available until July. over 3 months after I ordered them. I asked for a refund, Bob said to email them requesting a refund. I did as he said and Bob replied with an email stating I agreed to the Terms & agreements and I will NOT receive a refund. Apparently, this was a special order item. Yet Bob or Race-Mart neglected to give me an estimated delivery date at the time of my purchase. I notice many other people have the same complaints with Race-Mart. Race-Mart should take notice of the multiple negative reviews and provide better customer service by stating delivery dates or how long an item takes to ship. I have a burned out head light. It does me no good to wait until July to get new ones.

They also like to argue with their customers sending me many emails. Calling me "crazy and jumping off the deep end." Did I mention they lie.

Rock bottom prices, but ROCK BOTTOM CUSTOMER SERVICE!

This company doesn't stock anything. The address of the company is a residential singly family home. They just have their items drop shipped from manufacturers or other sellers. BUYERS BEWARE

"After receiving an email telling me I would receive shipping info, and then waiting a week I requested it. No one responded. I waited another week and was ticked. I don't know why you have an online customer service you never respond to. I told them they suck and requested a refund. No one responded. I finally found the time before 2pm PST and reached a person. He told me he has refunds for people like me an hung up. I just saw the tap I ordered shipped after another week passed while expecting a refund. I had already ordered, received and completed the work which required the tap, by the time my "refund" shipped. Also there were no "BIG RED LETTERS". When you can modify your own website prior to your response here, its always a bonus. Do not purchase a drop of oil from this company. Its telling when a company that's been around since 2009 has 20 complaints from customers on the BBB website. I should have been reading their big red letters first. They are rude, unprofessional, unethical, "LIARS" and a total waste of time."

Actually they were about a month out of warranty, they are installed on a classic car that gets driven about 500 miles a year so the problem wasn't discovered untill a year later. Any reputible company stands behind their product, but RACE-Mart wouldn't understand that be they AREN'T a reputible company. Have you ever seen a company that gets so many poor reviews?? If you are still considering using this "company" you deserve to waste your money...

"These guys definitely are a "mart". They offer the lowest prices, but you generally trade that off for service, like you do at your neigbhorhood wal/k/mart. Their communication isn't the best, when your part is back ordered, you don't get notification. If you pick up the phone and call them, they'll tell you the order status, but it doesn't come automatically. They are very friendly on the phone. I'm willing to make that trade-off to save a few bucks."

"I have been very pleased with my dealings with Race-Mart. They have had THE BEST prices any where on the parts that I have ordered and their follow up and communication has been excellent. "DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. I have read through the complaints and I have had the exact same experience as most of the disatisfied customers on here. I checked the supposed business address for Racemart online with numerous sites and all show a picture of a single family home, the home has 3 bedrooms and was built in 1978 so despite his fancy website and his implications that he his some big time supplier, he is nothing more than a drop shipper who operates out of his home. If you buy product from him and have to return it, good luck!. I bought a canvas Best Top for my Dodge Ram pick up, he advertised the best price from all other competitors. Initially when I placed the order and paid for it in full several weeks went by and nothing was received. I called him and was told that the girl who handled the order was fired for incompetence, there was no girl, unless Bob had an operation. After receiving the cover I realized I had ordered the incorrect size and needed a 6 foot not an 8 foot cover. Following their "Terms of sale and return" you must obtain a RMA# return merchandise authorization. I sent an e mail stating that the item didn't fit and that I wanted to do an exchange. I was intially told by Bob that all of the people in the office were at a trade show, by the way all the people are Bob and Paul as far as I know, and that if I could wait a week they would get back to me with the RMA#. Needless to say several weeks have passed and all I keep getting from Bob are vague answers / excuses. His terms of doing business favor his company and not the customer.Information from this company is not readily forthcoming. I have had absolutley no responses but lots of excuses. I am contacting an attorney as well as the Florida BBB and Attorney General.This is a very unfriendly company to do business with. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY."

"I ordered spark plugs for my 2008 honda civic. It takes 8 iridium plugs. They shipped four and have completely dropped me since. No responses to my repeated emails inquiring to the plugs whereabouts.

I would not recomend this company to anyone.
