"Bought a Nikon D700 from Pyxis. Got a call from there order review department, telling me that a signature was REQUIRED & that UPS would not deliver unless someone was there to sign. I thought that was annoying! When I told my wife, she calmed me down, and reminded me what happened a few years ago when we ordered pool furniture that did not require a signature. Overall I was happy once I received the camera."

"I was really happy with my order. At first, I was being cautious about this company since it barely has any ratings yet. To my surprise, the shipping was fast, the customer service was great and the company is a delight to deal with. I would recommend this company and would buy from them again.

Just an FYI though. They do make you call in to confirm your order. The wait time wasn't that long and they do try to sell you extra items for your order. Once you say NO, they never hassle you about it. The customer service rep was also very nice.

"Rocks.. Ultimate service.. I ordered nikon d90 with three lens, they provided excellent quality products with original US warranty. I liked the service they provided more than anything. I had a small problem with the memory card and the tripod which came with the product and please find the response from the sales manager when I brought that into their notice.

"I am sorry to hear that you are having a issue. I will be sending you out a new memory card and a new tripod as well. Just throw out the tripod. As for the defective memory card please put it in a regular envelope and mail it back to us with regular mail. I hope you enjoy it and we appreciate your business very much. Happy Holidays!!

"Didn't have a good experience with this seller. My items arrived as scheduled but my camera was missing a few items such as manuals, etc..but more importantly, a warranty card was not provided. The auction stated a warranty card would be included, but it wasn't. After several emails, the seller said they would send it, but it's been over a month and I haven't received anything. Also the seller is very annoying and tries to call with different numbers to get you on the phone and sell you additional merchandise. I will not buy from this seller again as I feel the item was Gray Market. Please be warned."

"I had shopped all over the Internet and had seen the bad guys and the good guys. And the high prices and the low prices.

Pyxis had the Nikon D60 that I wanted, with the lens (18-200mm) that I wanted, and their price was lower than anyone's. I was extremely reluctant to shell out that kind of money online, though, but I read the reviews here and was convinced they were one of the good guys.

Was I ever right! These guys are AWESOME! The package arrived in a timely manner, and everything was just as described! I couldn't be happier -- I LOVE my new camera.

I really didn't need all the extras they sent me, such as camera case and tripod, so I sold them on eBay.

My only (mild) complaint is their policy that you have to CALL them to confirm your order. I was leery of doing this, because all the companies that require this usually try to strong-arm you to upgrade or buy something else (warranty, etc.). Pyxis made a mild attempt to do this, but didn't pressure me when I said no. They were very agreeable.

I can't recommend Pyxis enough! I'm leaving for Europe in a couple of weeks with my new camera in hand! I'm VERY HAPPY!

"A really good test of a company's customer service is when things go wrong... When my camera arrived the box was severely damaged, there was a huge hole in one corner. I contacted Pyxis and received a reply almost immediately. They offered to replace anything missing from the box with no delay. It was clear they wanted me to be a happy customer even if it meant shipping me extra components. My subsequent contact with their customer service has been excellent. They are clearly dedicated to making certain I am completely satisfied with my purchase!"

"My experience with this store was good. I ordered the camera on ebay as part of a kit, and when it came I was amazed at all the extras. I chose to purchase the extended warranty because it enabled me to get the camera with express shipping. I originally said no to that, and was not pressured at all, it was my choice to get it when I called back.

This basic camera is $799 at Costco. For an extra $200 I got the extended warranty, the camera with the basic lens, a great Canon 300mm telephoto lens, 3 other lenses, a tripod, extra battery, car charger, regular charger, and many other things. It was quite amazing.

Yes I had to call the next day, but so what... many ebay vendors do that...despite some problems with my credit card, they were always polite and friendly to me both on the phone and via email. All in all, a very positive experience.

The seller has a 98% positive rating with over 2000 feedbacks, so a lot of people are happy with them.
