"Progressive's customer service is awesome. Always have the friendliest and most helpful agents when I have to reach out. I have an auto, home owners, and used to have renter's insurance policy. No complaints.
However, if you have auto do NOT sign up for SnapShot and get the device. Once it was plugged into my Jeep, it made the entire car inoperable. Everything locks and check service lights come on. Couldn't drive the car, couldn't change gears. Had to unplug it and wait for the car to realize the danger was removed. Then I could drive it just fine. Plug the device back in, same thing.
So don't take the changes. The discount isn't worth the potential damage to your car. "
