"Order placed on 24 Aug
First response from PriceLer on 27 Aug. Order finally sent on 28 Aug, 4 days after placing the order. No reason was given for why it takes so long for this company to ship an order.

Be careful to look for the best price if you insist on shopping here. Going directly to their web site gives one price, however by going thru pricescan.com gives a much better price.
I am very unsatified with the service.

"While Priceler.Com had a good price (not the lowest) their shipping is the pits! I order from them and paid for 2nd. day air and it took 2 days just for them to ship my order out!!! With this delay and they shipped on Thursday (I ordered and paid on Tuesday) it took 7 days to get my package! If buyers want a faster shipping, they should not use this company!!!"

"CAVEAT EMPTOR! BUYER BEWARE!
Be careful when you order from this company. Here's their SCAM:
1. You place a fully paid for order (approved credit card)
2. Priceler sends you an email stating there are "order verification difficulties"
3. You call them (and wait on hold a real long time), by the time you get through holding, you're just ready to "fix the difficulties" so your order can ship
4. They then put a SALESMAN on the phone who tries to sell you overpriced extras.
5. If you fall for it (I did on one of their packages), they put the order in "immediately".
6. If you call back to cancel that part of the order, they are "sorry to inform you" they've "sent that order down to shipping" and can't cancel it.
7. Eight days later, I received an email that my order had shipped. I don't have the items yet.

They are NOT an honest company. The shipping took way too long--come on, if they're going to pull this stunt with you, the least they should do is ship the order immediately upon you biting for their lure!

I WILL NOT EVER ORDER FROM PRICELER AGAIN (and I haven't even seen the camera I've ordered from them yet)!

I do intend to send back the OVERPRICED extra that they held my order up for. I'll come back and tell you all how that went as well.

"I ordered the product over the phone one day and it was shipped the next. When ordering the product the representative I spoke to over the phone did offer accessory products to go along with what I had purchased, no different than when ordering from TV adds. There was no pressure in purchasing the add-ons but the price did keep getting lower whenever I said no. Eventually, they made an offer I couldn't refuse!"

"Excellent company to deal with from what I have seen, I had the winning bid on ebay, immediately called their 800 number to pay with my credit card, they told me the camera would ship in 24 to 48 hours, and less than 24 hours later, I received an email that it was shipped, along with a UPS tracking number. Polite & courteous on the phone, and it shipped even faster than they said it would, I don't believe it gets any better than that. Needless to say, I am pleased.

Update July 9th, 2003
The camera arrived this afternoon, just over 2 full days from winning it in the auction, and it was shipped UPS GROUND, so I tip my hat to UPS also. The box arrived in good condition, it was packed for shipping just fine. The camera worked flawlessly also. I am 100% satisfied with this company, the manner they conducted busines with me, the product I recieved just as advertised, and would,(and probably will) make future purchases with them.

"I do not feel that the item was packaged properly for shipping. Te camera box was placed inside a shipping box. There was an air bag on top and air bags on two sides. There was nothing on the bottom or the other two sides. A $3000 dollar camcorder should have been given more protection than that. At least something on the bottom. One toss of the package to the ground from the delivedry people could have easily thrown the heads out of allignment in this camera. And with your no return policy for Sony products I would have had no recource.
Everything else in the purchasing process went very well. But I must say, I would have to think twice about ordering anything of this expense from you again simply due to your poor packaging practice.

"I was freaked out to read the awful comments about Priceler AFTER I purchased a Sony DSC-F717 camera and sweated out the week it took to arrive. Received it today, as promised, new, factory sealed box, US warranty. Other than the hard sell of accessories (I can't really blame them for this considering the low price of the camera), and having to wait one additional week for them to get the camera back in stock, I had no problems at all with this order. Phone calls and emails were promptly answered. A good buying experience all in all."
