"Website stated that the product was available, yet there turned out to be a two week back order of the product. Misrepresentation in my humble opinion. If it's not available, update the webpage to reflect that information. Not worth it even if the price is good."

"Online ordering was easy but I am a bit skeptical because they could not find my order when I called to get a ship date. They said to call back in 15 minutes. I already spent 15 minutes on hold. more to follow...

This is a scam, as soon as they found out I did not want to purchase other expensive upgrades they told me the item was not is stock and it would be late January before it was available. I cancelled the order

"Not a pleasant experience! I placed the order number PRC40687 on 27 November. "TED" called on 29 November to confirm and adjust the order. After consultation with "TED", I increased the order by a factor of approximately 2, from approximately $1,000.00 to $1,895.98. As part of that order adjustment, "TED" informed me the shipping would be upgraded to UPS Next Day Air. My credit card was billed $1,895.98 on 1 December.

As of 10 December the order was still listed on the web site as "In Warehouse." I called to check and the lady with whom I spoke, took the problem to the manager. After a short while she came back on the phone and told me the manager simply couldn't figure out what happened but assured me the order would go out that week and would be delivered to me on Monday, 15 December at the latest. She said I would be e-mailed a UPS Tracking Number when the order shipped.

As of Monday afternoon, 15 December, the order was still listed as "In Warehouse" on the web site. I called again to check and spoke with Ilene who immediately took the problem to "The Manager" for resolution. After a lengthy hold, Ilene came back on the phone and told me she had a UPS Tracking Number, 1Z0YF008A241329445, and that it was scheduled for delivery on Wednesday, 17 December.

It is now 7 PM on 16 December and the Tracking number is still not recognized by the UPS Tracking System. When that number is intered, the response is that the number is not reconized and for me to check and reenter the number. I have done this several times to make sure there was no error on my part and the results have always been the same.

I have no reason to believe the order will be delivered tomorrow and if it is not, I will be forced to cancel it and notify my credit card company to not honor the charge.

All-in-all, this has been a very dissappointing and frustrating first time customer experience. I seriously doubt that I will be doing any more business with Priceler.com. I certainly will not if I am forced to cancel this order. They will get no good ratings from me, even though their prices appear to be quite good.

Sorry about that, but this is totally unacceptable handling of an order.

"Dear Customer Support Rep,

I am not happy and will consider going to the Better Business Bureau unless I am refunded $20 for "air shipment" even though the item was shipped ground by seller id 2721 or extension 310. I was intimidated into agreeing to get the item on time.

I ordered a camcorder on-line with 3 day ground shipping (extra $39.99)(above order #). I was called back by extension 310 (seller id 2721) and told that I had to pay an extra $20 to get the camcorder to me by Christmas via air delivery!!!!

Even though I paid $39.99 for 3 day ground shipping, he said I will not get it in 3 days and that it takes 7 days to process (even though your web site said it will be shipped in 2 days). He said he will only deliver if I paid an extra $20.

Will you really be shipping from NY to Connecticut, which is one state away by air; or, was this a bate and switch tactic which made me pay a total of $59 for totally unreasonable and false shipping charges???

"Prompt service. It was said I would have about a 2 week wait for the camera I ordered which was OK then 4 days later the camera is on my delivered. What a suprise!! Only problem is that the rebate asks for an original sales receipt and I did not get the free cleaning kit as promised but that still may come. Otherwise very satisfied."

"I purchased a digital camera from priceler for an outstanding price. I was called to confirm my order and they tried to sell me more products but in no way was I pushed to buy. I ended up buying a memory card when they offered me a good price with no extra shipping. My order was in stock and shipped right away. I was able to track it and it arrived within days and everything worked great. I would buy from them again."

"This is the worst buying experience I have ever had in my life. An item that was "in stock/availble" on their website, took nearly a month before it shipped out.

Phone calls to the company either left me on hold for up to an hour, or speaking with a representative that gave me incorrect information at every call. The phrase "Your order should ship out tomorrow," was uttered every single time yet it was meaningless.

The company charged my credit card 1 business day after my order and I heard nothing from them for a week after which I called and not only got the runaround concerning my order, but I was asked if I'd like to order any accessories as well. I told the representative that I ordered a memory card from "buy dot com" AFTER the camera, and it had already arrived. 20 business days later, my order finally shipped, they were "kind" enough to upgrade it to overnight shipping, but gave absolutely no discount on shipping. After almost a month I now have it in hand, so I'm no longer worried about what I say about this company.

I will never refer any of my friends (or even enemies) to Priceler.com, they are dishonest, they never reply to customer service e-mail, their phone representatives advise you to call back AFTER hours (they only fooled me once with that trick).

While I am pleased to have my item (Canon Powershot S400 digital camera), I barely saved enough off retail to justify ever wanting to use a service like Priceler again. I will do my homework next time, using sites like this, and won't be burned again.

"I am not satisfied with this company and will probably not order from them again. The items were out of stock, they didn't tell me that until I started inquiring 2 weeks after I ordered, the items didn't seem to come in when promised. I had a hard time gertting hold of the sales rep-either busy, or an answering machine. When I did reach him, he was interested in selling me more than I needed. I finally did acquiesce because he had some package deals in stock, and could get the camera for me that way. I had to spend 100 more than I was budgeted for just to get the cameras. Didn't like the way they did business."

"It comes down to this...They shouldn't have told me they had the item in stock when they didn't. I was told I would have it in three days, and it is now a week later! It has taken me six phone calls for them to finnaly say the were out of stock and when it does come in it will be sent to me priority. Well I guess so! I was one more phone call away from canceling the order when I finally got the email with the tracking number. This was my first time making a major purchase online and I am not sure how it has left me feeling about the whole thing. All I know is this...The day before I ordered this camera I also ordered a video for $8.00. The video was here in 4 days with FREE shiping and insurance...what are the chances I will drop this kind of coin online to suffer this inconvience again? Not very good I would think. And the chances of me dealing with Priceler.com again are pretty slim too. I drop over $1000.00 and they can't even ship it for free? I realize that it's Christmas and they are busy, but the least they could do is be honest with their customers."

"This is the best company I have ever dealt with. I purchased a wide angle camera lens with an adapter for both my camcorder and my SLR camera. I received the lens by UPS the very next day. The lens was as advertised an good quality however it only came with one adapter. I called to question this. They admitted it was their error that the lens would not fit the SLR. They sent me an additional complete Lens to fit that camera at NO CHARGE. I now have two lenses for the price of one. What a great company to do business with. I recommend them to all. "

"The gentleman who spoke with me made it "difficult" for me to place the order. I almost cancelled. He kept insisting that I add to the order; however, I was quite firm with him that I did NOT wish to order other items. Then, as I was about to depart the phone call, I said, "I'll hope to shop with you again." to which he replied, "I'll not hold my breath." Gosh, I can't honestly say I found that very "INVITING". Would you? As I reflect on it, I can't say I'd want to place another order and get that kind of "friendliness" again."
