"I needed a subwoofer for my HTPC and didnt want to spend a lot of money for it. I read a ton of reviews about their Dayton 12" subwoofer as a great bang for the buck. I hesitated buying from them because the subwoofer was heavy and did not want to pay for shipping. Labor day sale rolled around and their was a $50 off (credit) towards shipping. I didn't have to think twice about it.

I got the 12 inch subwoofer for $158. A steal. Shipping and confirmation came as expected. Also came with tracking number. Item came in good condition. The subwoofer seems like it was built too fast or without care. On the top left side of the subwoofer was not smooth....a little edgy. Seems like they didn't take their time to sand it evenly. Subwoofer sounded good once properly position. Not the greatest but good for the price.

Despite the minor flaws on the top edge of the subwoofer box, I would still buy from them again. Great product for the price."

In fact, one time I ordered an audio volume knob and it came with a cracked knob. I could tell it probably was like this from the factory. Someone at Parts Express spent time to see if they had an extra knob in their stock rooms and sent it to me free of charge to assist me.

One nice thing is that they allow multiple shipping options. US Postal Service Priority and First-Class are options which are much cheaper for small / lightweight options."

A few hours after placing the order, I received a call from Parts Express regarding my order. Because my shipping and billing addresses are different, they needed to confirm shipping. They stated they would attempt to ship same day but could not promise due to heavy Thanksgiving weekend ordering. To my surprise, I received ship confirmation later in the evening.

The subwoofer arrived in 2 days in excellent condition. It made ALL the difference in my theater system. I read about it on avsforum.com and they steered me right.
