"Alright guys, time to learn how to buy through panasonic.com. I just got off the phone with the sales/purchases department, trying to sort out the $6000 worth of charges on my credit card (6 hdtvs instead of 1). But I am passing my knowledge so for those who plan on buying, do it without recourse (it worked for me). Pick it out what you want through panasonic, fill up your cart, then sign up with your e-mail.afterwards, your going to call their customer service line @18004050652, I haven't figured out how the call tree works but, you need to speak with the purchase department, and even ask to make an order. Once you speak with someone, give them your email and they should be able to guide the rest of your order until its complete. Why let them do it? Because they know what to look out for if somethingsoes wrong.they can tell you if something is definitely back ordered. From there they'll take your information and you'll receive a confirmation through your email. My item is on back order but I'm in no rush. Good luck guys, I learned the hard way, just know that the system isn't very use friendly. Making thiss review from my phone. shop safe and double check my 1800 number."

"TERRIBLE AND NOTHING BUT LIES. Panasonic borders on fraud and thievery.
1.11/25/11 I ordered an extended warranty (camera) from them and paid with PayPal.
2. I called in late December oer early January to find out where it was. "We are backed up, it will ship in a couple of weeks.
3.I called again in late January, again on February 27, again on March 13, and again on April 2. All of these times, I got about the same response , "We're backed" or "the warranty department is backed up", "Heather will call you", Heather will email you", "It will be mailed soon", and "a few more weeks". So after hearing the same story on ASpril 2, I called back to speak to a supervisor and was told that Heather would be in contact (email) by wednesday. Of course, she never contacted me. By this wednesday 4/11/12, I have no choice exceppt to persue this the the legal system. These people at Panasonic do nothiong but lie to their customers.

"I placed an order (first time from Panasonic) on a Saturday for a set of phones, and received an email back Sunday stating:
"This email is being sent in reference to order number {deleted} placed at shop.panasonic.com.
Before we can fully process the order and ship it to you, we need the following information:
Please fax us a copy of your credit card used when placing this order, front (you can black all of the numbers out except for the last 4 digits ) and back with signature, and a copy of your driver’s license. Please reference your order number as well."

I had never been asked to do this before, so called and was told that they do that for all orders over $100 now (anti-fraud purposes) and it must be faxed - only one woman sees the faxes. So, I faxed the information the same day. I heard nothing more, so logged on to check my order status on Wednesday to find out it was cancelled - with absolutely no explanation given. After reading the other reviews here, I will purchase from another source rather than try again with Panasonic.

"Beware of Panasonic.com !
I expected buying directly from the manufacturer to be a desirable process. Not so.
Camera package arrived 1 week late, because Panasonic forgot to include the street name & address. (had to contact UPS myself to sort out - when item didn't arrive)
Then when I open the camera package, I noticed there was no camera battery - but I bought a new camera (not used one)Package looked like it was previously opened.
(kind of like what you would expect of a used Ebay item)
Called "Customer Service", who said I needed instead to contact "Customer Sales" because they couldn't do anything about it. After finally getting through to "Customer Sales", they said that they couldn't do anything, because it was a "Customer Service" issue - and to call them back again. I called "Customer Service" again and was again told they couldn't do anything about it, and that I need to call "Customer Sales" again. (are you kidding me !)
After I insisted that I am no longer playing their "call someone else" game - I was told to send an email to "Bill" at Panasonic. (who knows where that fax really went)
Talk about lack of "Customer Service" - when they are the ones that need to fix a problem they created.
I feel like returning the camera, but getting a refund (minus re-stocking fee + charging for the "non" missing item!) could be a nightmare.
My likely resort - buy my own camera battery, and never shop at Panasonic.com again (and not buy Panasonic products)

"I had one of the worst online experiences that I have ever had this past Black Friday. Panasonic was promoting their Black Friday sales that started at midnight. At that time, their website was not accessible. When I finally got on the next morning, I ordered at 42" 3D TV that was supposedly in stock. I later get an e-mail that said it was on backorder and would be available on 12/2, which came and went without any status change. Given I couldn't reach anyone by phone (on hold forever) I finally resorted to e-mail, which I never received a response. I would periodically get an e-mail (unrelated to my request) telling me that my TV was on backorder with no status on when it would be shipped. I finally checked online again the week before Christmas to find my order was cancelled. A couple of days later I finally got an e-mail from them saying they cancelled my order because they couldn't fulfill it. Given it was a Christmas gift, I finally just went to Best Buy to get the TV for $120 more. Last time I ever trust Panasonic!"

"Beware of this merchant. My experience is the absolute worst online shopping experience I ever have had. So what happened.

Ordered large screen 60 inch TV on Black Friday 2011. Unfortunately, the TV arrived broken. After two weeks I still haven't got a resolution in sight. The gripes:

1) Support line automatically hangs up after 30 mins of the electronic menu system answering you. Happened multiple times, does not matter if you are on hold or talking to a person. Wasted three hours trying to talk to a person.
2) Rare to get to a person. Happened twice out of many attempts.
3) They do not respond at all to email.
4) The only response I can usually get is from the online Chat.
5) The standard answer is you will contacted in 24 to 48 hours by someone else. After 14 days, this is getting very old.
6) On the 14th day, I get a RA number in an email and am told I have to ship it back, on me. In my online chat, they told me they would pick it up beause of the size.

Panasonic may have good products, but they are not a company I will ever purchase from again. Don't make the same mistake I did ordering from them.

"One of the worst experiences EVER! They cancelled our Black Friday order without even having the decency of contacting us, they refuse to restore the order because my wife's greek name is not EXACTLY her americanized name and no amount of time on the phone with these morons can convince them we are legit. We sent in faxes of credit cards and driver's licenses and they still cannot wrapped their pea brains around reality. Complete inability to understand the real world. My belief is they have no intention of honoring their Black Friday offer and are finding any way possible to reneg on it. HELLO! Some people are from other countries and use americanized names that, I dunno, DIFFER from their given names! What year is it in your world Panasonic? We moved also, so we have yet to update our credit card address vs. our delivery address....hmmmmm people MOVE??? Yeah, go figure! I am at my wits end trying to BUY something from these idiots! THANK GOD THEY ARE PROTECTING ME FROM ME!!! Hello Samsung, Good Bye PANASTUPID!"

"One of the worst customer service experience I received in the hands of panasonic nd panasonic .com, customer service after I called and wasted 2 hours on the phone, being thrown around to ten different places with no resolution and recourse while trying to request to return 4 days old audio product, not working properly, requesting a return.
After Samsung, Panasonic has lost me! I would say "beware buying any thing panasonic, esp from Panasonic.com" if you would have to deal with them you would bound to regret.

"Placed an order for 10 bluray players model DMP-BD85K for $90 (normally they sell for $280). They contacted me on the phone 5 days later and informed me that it was OOS and they will sub a significantly lower end model at the same price. The sub model is the DMP-BD75 which sells for $90. They wanted me to accept a substitute that sells for less than 1/3 the price. What kind of idiots do they have working over there? They are a waste of time and money. Stick with Sony."

"I placed an online order for a breadmaker which was in stock. But after 6 days it hasn't been shipped out. I just cancelled it. Actually I called in to check the status 3 days after the order was placed, and was told the item was ready to be shipped out. Really bad experience, stay away Panasonic store."

"I ordered a Panasonic Lumix FZ-100k from Panasonic.com on 5/24/11. I receiived an email on 5/31/11 stating that the camera is on backorder and they don't know when it will ship.

It blows my mind that it takes a company 7 days after an order is placed to let the customer know that they won't even be receiving the item anytime soon. Their inventory is obviously not accurate on their website as they still have it listed as available.

Panasonic needs to change to a new e-commerce fulfillment provider because whoever they use now obviously is failing and in turn, is turning future customers away from buying from them.

I needed the camera for a trip next week so now I ordered a different model on Amazon.com - because I know that it'll be on my doorstep in 2 days when I order from Amazon.

"Liars and thieves. Placed an order for razor and blades. Panasonic cancelled the order on the razor and lied about about it (status update showed "Customer cancelled order" which is a heinous lie because they cancelled it but blamed it on me) but proceeded to ship the blade (which is completely WORTHLESS without the razor) at TWICE THE ORIGINAL price that I agreed upon at checkout. Credit card showed charges pending (again, twice the original cost at checkout). These people absolutely disgust me-- never had worse service anywhere else."

"One more nightmare experience at Panasonic.com

1. I enter order and about to check out, and price increases by $20 or $30. I back out and see again the price listed is lower, so try again, but again when I get through all the shipping and billing steps, the price inexplicably increases!

2. I order different item, indicated estimated shipping 1-3 days. I wait. And wait. And wait. I call finally, a couple weeks later, and I'm told it is out of stock. Um, hello? I go to site again and check order and it still says estimated shipping 1-3 days. Ugh, I try to get them to ship 2 smaller items that together are equal to the one combo item I ordered, but they refuse. So rather than pay the extra cost, I decide I can wait still longer. TWO MONTHS LATER, they email saying the item is discontinued and I won't ever get it. In meantime the other items (equivalent phone with 2 vs 3 headsets plus an accessory headset) are backorder status now, too. UGH! And when I explain all this unreasonableness in protest reply email, I am told "According to the website, pricing and availability are subject to change at any time with out notice." You can say that again!!!!

"The DVD Player Recorder I sent in for repair was returned to me without the remote control. I am unable to operate the unit without the remote. Also, per my explicite instructions to you, I requested the DVD disk that was caught within the machine (7th Season 70's Show) be returned to me. It was not returned. "ANGST!! This online seller is THE WORST experience I have had in over 13 years of online shopping. I ordered a DMP-BD85 BLU RAY W/ STREAMIMG & WI FI DVD player on 11-30-10 for the great price of $125 via a corporate buying deal with free 1-3 day shipping. I look at my checkout cart and price mysteriously changed to $137.50!! I got no help no explanation other than web prices do not always reflect final cart checkout price. WHAT!? That was the final answer after waiting 70 minutes on ignore. I then e-mailed ****@**** and told them this was fraud and illegal. I got a voice-mail at home saying they had adjusted the price back to $125.00 as website initially showed. Their website is a tragic joke. It is always outdated with order status never updated. Days, weeks, went by and no DVD player arrives, no website info and no e-mails from Panasonic.com -- ?? Sadly, after 2-3 more calls to them , they admitted item was on back-order and since Christmas is so busy a time, we customers need to be more patient. Hunh?! Then magically, 44 days after my order, on 1-12-11 -- UPS drops the DVD player off at my house. Panasonic.com never e-mailed me when it was being shipped AS THEY PROMISED. Instead, I about trip over the dang thing on my front porch in its box with all the logos and pics advertising, "Hey folks, please steal me." When I let customer service know it had finally arrived, they simply e-mail replied saying, "We see it was shipped UPS. Hope this info is helpful." Duh . . . What is wrong with this company? AVOID Panasonic.com WEBSITE. AVOID their scam. I only hope this thing works right . . . sigh . . ."
