Lousy customer service

"Bought an item on line Dec 14th. Have used there "contact us" form, claims next day to hear from someone. Ten days later no response. Sat on chat line for 30 minutes waiting for someone and finally gave up. Trying to find out if item will ever show up. Apparently shipping is by canpar according to tracking number, and has been sitting in Toronto since the 15th."

easy to use!

"You need to be specific about what you want for television. When you want to see bright colors and fine details, go to the new hardware, or even the 4K. When you compare Panasonic 4 K with the others and the apps, you'll get value for money. Ergonomics is also really strong, and easy to use!"

No Decent Delivery Options, They Expect Me To Take a Half-Day Off Work To Receive Item

"They only ship FedEx with requirement for signature on delivery. This was noted in the checkout, but I was surprised that I was unable to use FedEx delivery manager to switch to pickup at a FedEx location, so I called FedEx and they told me that only the shipper could change delivery options. Then I called Panasonic and was told they will not allow pickup at FedEx, because they have problems with people stealing credit card numbers, then producing fake IDs, then using fake IDs to pick items up at FedEx locations (really!?). The best I can get from FedEx is a four hour delivery window in the middle of business hours, which is inconvenient for someone with a job to say the least; at my equivalent hourly rate it would cost me several hundred dollars to take the time off work, so the most convenient and cost-effective solution is to let the delivery fail, get returned to Panasonic and get processed as a return. Depending on who I decide to order an equivalent item from, I can probably get it sooner than it would take to jerk myself through a solution with Panasonic.

I understand erring on the side of caution by default, but offering no viable delivery options for customers with jobs reduces your customer base, I have already wasted plenty of time and effort to get nothing from Panasonic.

Never Received Items. No Refunds. Supper Slow and Unprofessional Responses

"Ordered Items on 4/20/16. Nothing Received after over a month of waiting (today 5/26/16). Contacted Customer Service via Emails (phone calls waited for over 30 mins every time, still nobody answered). They asked for info one day and 2 days later they said that they submitted for Investigation; and will inform in 10 days the next steps that I will have to take. I totally disagreed and requested for immediate refund or reship the items if still in stock. Also, requested them to forward my messages, at least 3 times, to the manager/supervisor but they simply just ignored all. I hope that they still care about the companys future; Come here to see how people got so frustrated by their services.

*** 9:53PM 06/02/2016 - still no responses or updates from Panasonic. Filed dispute with Paypal ***

***3:35PM 06/04/2016 - Paypal closed the case and Refunded*** Terrible Experience!

"I also ordered a Panasonic Microwave from them directly over Black Friday. Their website was "down" so you could not track your order. When I called in asking for status(after 4 business days), they said they had no tracking available. Right after I got off the phone with them, I get an instant email with my tracking number. That is so shady and unprofessional. I then receive the microwave and there is a huge Hole in the box(big enough to fit my hand in) and I can feel a dent on the microwave. I have not opened it yet. I called Panasonic and EMAILED them pictures to let them know. They send me a RMA email saying I have to pay for shipping to ship it back to them and there will be a 15% restocking fee. What the heck, what a rip off. They send me a damaged item and them want me to pay to send it back and get charged a fee for it. I will never USE THEM NEVER. DO NOT USE PANASONIC to order from directly, they are rip-offs.

"As of August 8, all issues have been resolved.

I ordered the new Panasonic model no. NN-SE985S. The microwave arrived in three days. On July 21 2015 I noticed that one of the corners was broken off on the waveguide cover (this is a small, flexible piece of plastic about the thickness of a credit card) on the inside wall of the unit. After four calls to Panasonic support, I have learned that
1. The local service center has gone out of business
2. Panasonic is unable to send a replacement part because, although they know which part it is, they do not have a parts list yet and thus do not have a part number.
3. Although one of the techs offered to send an advance replace replacement, her supervisor refused to authorize the replacement because the unit is too expensive ($374.00) and is repairable.
I have tried again and again to get them to just send me the part, all to no avail.
They want me to return the unit so that they can "repair" it and ship it back to me.

If any of this convinces you not to deal directly with Panasonic, consider yourself lucky.
I most certainly will never expose myself to the possibility of having to deal with them again. I is an absolute nightmare.

"I ordered FlashXpress™ Toaster Oven with Double Infrared Heating NB-G110PW from Panasonic on march 16, 2015. they said it will ship 5-7 days. After waiting for two weeks, I called their customer service and was told, that they ran out but that they will be receiving a shipment the following day and that I should receive shipping confirmation in 2-3 days. Two weeks past and I called again and I was told the same story. I called them again several times after that and got the same story. When I placed the order, I also ordered Drip Pan (Item No: ABK00-1351) which shipped on April 8. In early may, I called their customer service again, to request for RMA to return the Drip Pan, since it is useless to me without the Toaster Oven. They told me I will receive the RMA email within 5-7 days. This is end of June and I still have not received the email from Panasonic. It was not until May 22, 2015, that I received an email from them that my order for the Toaster Oven will not be shipped. I will never purchase any Panasonic product again."

"I ordered a Panasonic Blu Ray player, then waited more than a month and nothing happened. After I inquired via email about the order, I got a call to inform me that the product is discontinued and the order is cancelled. It was just a waste of my time. What annoyed me more is that this is the second time I had such an issue with Panasonic Direct. I generally like Panasonic products, but sales and customer service is really bad."

"DO NOT EVER EVER EVER PURCHASE AN ITEM FROM PANASONIC'S WEBSITE!!

All I ordered was a 100 dollar Blu-ray player.

The player was shipped in its actual product box - NOT a shipping box - it was all damaged and box was even opened. Sure enough the DVD tray would not open. After several calls to tech support so they could try to fix it over the phone - which they could not do. They finally said to return the product.

If only it could be that easy!! It took 3 weeks of calls to beg for a RMA to return the player. I finally returned the player.

It has now been 2 months and 8 phone calls to their customer service and still no refund to my account.

Today, the person I was talking to said there is NO records of my previous phone calls!! This is the absolute worse online purchase I have ever made, and I have made plenty!

Do yourself a favor and order from the great online companies like Amazon!!

PANASONIC YOU ARE A JOKE, AND SHOULD BE OUT OF THE ONLINE BUSINESS AS YOU HAVE NO CLUE WHAT YOU ARE DOING!!!!!

"The absolute worst retail outfit I have ever experienced.
I'm still waiting over 30 days after an order for a portion of it to arrive. I receive contradictory emails saying when it will be in stock, only to always have nothing shipped. When I inquire, it's usually 5-6 days before anyone responds. THE WORST I have ever experienced
