"I placed an order for a Panasonic TY-FB8HM HDMI card because their price was good and it showed as in stock and ships same day. Within a couple of hours of placing the order, I logged in to check the status and it showed "backordered". I was a little upset by the fact that the status of their stock was not up-to-date and feel that they may have been a bit dishonest in this respect as I did not receive an e-mail indicating that my order was not in stock. Nevertheless, I was able to contact them by phone quite easily and cancel the order. The CSR I spoke with was friendly enough however quite brief. I would consider doing business with them again but only if I felt comfortable purchasing the product from them for the right price."
"Ordered a pelican case, when it arrived it had a broken part, I called Pc Connection and they were going to have the broken one picked up and send a replacement, but I needed it immediately. So they issued me a credit instead for me accepting the item as is. Which is even better in the end. I didn't even have to ask for it. That's a big two thumbs up in my books, Its good to see them treating customers so well."
"Stay away from this store. I come across this store when googling for 500gb hard drives. I received 12.5 mm drives which does not fit my enclosures. When I contacted them over the phone an unfriendly lady answered the phone and refused to exchange for another.

Turns out the price was an error. I'm not upset that my order was cancelled if the price truly was a mistake. Mistakes happen.
But PCConnection never emailed me to notify me that my order was cancelled. I only discovered it when I logged on to the site to look for a tracking number.
It wasn't until I emailed PCConnection to ask why that I discovered the price was a mistake. Rather than an admission that they had made a mistake, I got an reply that simply stated the price was an error, and if I would like to order at the proper price, I could contact them.
Thanks, but no thanks. Their poor customer service almost created a huge problem for me. I wouldn't expect to still get the incorrect price, but I don't think a simple cancellation email is too much to ask.
Edit: I did eventually receive a cancellation email, four days after my original order was cancelled. A very disappointing delay, but better than no cancellation notice at all."

I ordered two external harddrives from PC Connection the other day and when I checked my order status today they canceled the order - WITHOUT NOTIFYING ME. Sure enough, there is still a $312.74 charge on my credit card. Stores should be held to honor the prices they advertise to the public.
We need to stop taking this crap as consumers. Most people who got in on this deal think it was a price "mistake", but what if it wasn't? What if they did it on purpose to get their name out there, to pad their quarterly reports, or even for quick cash? Even if the cash is only in their hands for a few hours, they can make interest off it - just like how PayPal operates. Don't take these kinds of tactics - REVIEW SHADY RETAILERS."

Really this was stocking because I'd placed the order at 9:30PM but since they were in the same location as DHL they were able to get this out that night.
