"Ordered a TV from them on Black Friday, immediately after it became available on their website. My order was canceled within 5 seconds. They continued to advertise the TV as in-stock, fooling many others to give their info thinking they are getting a TV.

I still have not received an email or call telling me the order was canceled.

"Ordered 1 PS3 controller on the 22nd of October. The website stated that it was in stock and ready to ship. I got my email confirmation minutes after the order. I checked my order 10 days after the order went through to see if it got held up for some reason. The website said that my order was canceled. I had never received a cancellation email. When I called customer service, the attendant seemed to not care about the issue at all and said "well there's nothing we can do for you so." This is horrible customer service. Horrible company, stay away."

"Purchased two controllers for my Playstation 3. Item was listed as in-stock and ready to ship. After ordering, I waited for a couple days for a shipping status and when I checked online, I found out my order was canceled. No explanation, no e-mail notification, no communication whatsoever. Stay away from this place!"

"Disappointed in company. Item was purchased at a good deal and it seems it may be a slight price error. Not significant error about $10. "Ordered two identical items that were for sale on their website. Website said the items would ship same day. I received order confirmation immediately via email.
I checked the order status later in the evening in hopes of finding a tracking number. My order status showed canceled.
I checked my Visa account a pending charge was still there from PCConnection.
The next morning I checked the order status once more, and now clicking on the Invoice number in Order History caused an error. I checked my Visa again and the pending charge was still there.
I emailed PC Connection and after a day, did not receive any response.
Still waiting for a response or a release on my Visa.
I do NOT recommend PCConnection.

"Bad experience with PC connection for its incompetent. According to customer service, it had to check for each order one by one, and it had no control over its inventory.
My order went smoothly until cancelled over a day later without an relevant explanation. Customer service was really annoyed when she was asked about the order and tried to be professional on the edge of yelling. Nevertheless, her words and tones were cold and hostile.
After reading some other reviews, I think this is the "slash-and-burn" tactic in the Amazon rainforest that the company is practicing. Short term opportunities are what they care for but their customers.

"I ordered a digital picture frame as a gift for a friend in KY. I shopped around and picked PC Connection because they had the lowest price with shipping included and showed the item to be in stock (some of the other sites showed it was backordered). A week after I ordered it I was called and asked to verify some order information, which I have never had to do for an online purchase, but I am fine with verification so I provided the information. Then I was told that I had to give a non-social (gmail/yahoo) email address for verification. This is unnecessary. I finally agreed, even though this had nothing to do with my place of business. Now, 3 weeks later, the item never showed up and I called to find out it is backordered and the rep could not provide me with a ship date, so of course I canceled the order. I then ordered the same product from a legit company. 2 days later, PC Connection charged my card and sent shipping information. I called and the rep said that an email had been sent to the drop shipper, constituting 'everything in their power' to stop the order. Now I have to rely on my friend in KY to send back her birthday gift in order for me to receive credit back on my card. SO not cool."

"Do not use this company under any circumstances. Bait and switch, said they didnt have item that I ordered. Placed a Pre-Auth on my card and held my money until I had to force the bank to get it hold removed. CSR tried to argue me down that they didnt pre-auth anything and there is no hold at my bank when it was there for 10 days! Refused to contact my bank to let them know the order was not valid. Well, my bank called them up while I was on the phone and they verified that the order was cancelled...which they couldve done the first 4 or 5 days that I called. Bunch of crooks and jacked up sideways customer service."

"Wow. Just dropped in to see the reviews and was shocked to see the low ratings for PCCONNECTION. Are we talking about the same place? I've shopped with them for years and never had a problem.

Most recently, I bought a Mac Pro, Fusion, and iWork. I was due about $100 in rebates. The iWork rebate came 8 days after I dropped it in the mailbox! Still waiting for the Fusion rebates, but am watching at the rebate web site and can see it's progress.

As for my order, I ordered it on Sunday and it arrived Wednesday without issue.

I've shopped with them for more than 10 years and never had a problem. They've usually have the lowest Mac prices around.

I'm amazed at the poor reviews here, but am not scared off. I'm ordering an iMac from them for my parents as soon as I'm done writing this review.

"I ordered a Samsung monitor on a Wednesday. The website said the monitor was in stock. I checked the status late Friday afternoon and it said it had not shipped yet. I called Customer Support but they were not open. In fact, they were closed for the entire weekend. Monday morning I checked again and it still said it had not shipped. I called and the person said it had just shipped and the website would be updated soon. After an hour or so, the website said it did ship. Checking the tracking number, it in fact shipped the previous Thursday and would be delivered later that day, in perfect condition.

Kudos to PC Connection for their prices and their fast shipping.

I was not happy with their communication. Specifically, the inaccuracy of their website and their customer support people, and their low availability.

In the future, I will spend $10 or so more to deal with a company who values customers and customer support more.
