"i ordered the Monster Hunter 2 Dos Vol.1 & 2 and at first got a bit scared, after it taking so long to show up on the Trace site and seeing the reviews here, but after a few weeks (18/8->11/9) of waiting and after contacting the seller on Facebook (they replied after a day) i finally received my order and its in perfect (as new) condition , will order again, very happy with it :)

"Paid £43.99 for Fist of the North Star Complete TV Series on Blu-ray via PayPal and order was confirmed. Minutes later my order was cancelled, my payment refunded and I was told the item was no longer available however when I checked the item was still for sale but the price had risen to £57.99. This must have changed while I was checking out so the price I paid should have been honoured. The truth then came out and I was told the item was available but couldn't be sold at £43.99 as this would be at a loss. Then why advertise it at that price? If this was a pricing error, at least honour the one sale at the price as it was only going to lose the business a few pounds, especially after payment has already been made and received, keep the customer and be more careful with your pricing in future. Cancelling the order and lying about the reason is an awful business practice."
"Placed an order for my daughter which ended up costing $66, got an email that it "delivered" but never did, so when I try to contact their customer service by filling out their form on the site, it doesn't allow me and the website just places me in a repeating cycle receiving no help. Tried sending numerous emails and no respond, there's no number to contact either so $66 down the drain. Its been a little over a month now."
"This seller is a fraud. I purchased a NECA figure from them for a competitive price, received an order confirmation, and then nothing. The shipping window came and passed, but no shipping notification. I tried repeatedly to contact them through the customer service center on their website, which does not work, and then via email. Each time, I got no response. I'm now disputing the payment with my credit card company. Don't make the same mistake."

"Otaku Bowl sells counterfeit items. The photos they advertise are of actual Revoltech product images. However, they purposely leave out the brand name of the products. The items are far inferior to the actual Revoltech items. They constantly advertise on Facebook. When I made this discovery I posted my reviews and warnings in the comments. They have since blocked me from commenting any further and removed my posts."
"This company sent me a broken figure that was poorly packaged and after a month of trying to contact them I never received a response and they blocked me from their FB page when I tried to warn others of this scam. The more research I do online about otakubowl the more people I find that have also been scammed. DO NOT BUY anything from these people, huge scam"
"Usually when I buy thing such as anime and manga I use Ebay sometimes even manga, but they would not have items i am looking for or they are so expensive so i checked other sites but i found them to difficult to navaigatate and to understand, but then i came upon Otaku.com at first it looked like a good site but at the same time it looked to amateurish and i was sceptical about it but i tried it out anyways and bought myself an illustration book "Yun kouga Summer moon" a loveless illustration book, I purchesed it on the 9th of December 2014 and recieved it the day after christmas the book looks beautiful well packaged no damage what so ever and I even recieved a small package of green tea ^^ (which by the way was delicious thank you!).

"I found Otaku.com through a Google search for the inexplicably obscure Xenoblade soundtrack. The Otaku.com price was about $7 cheaper than everywhere else. Several resellers on Amazon were asking over $70 for it. In the end, at current exchange rates, I paid only $5 more than retail for it, shipped from Japan to the US.
Alex was very communicative. The soundtrack shipped the same day I ordered it. Unfortunately, the USPS decided to let it sit in New York for 9 days, but that’s not Otaku.com’s fault. In total, shipping took 14 days from Tokyo.
I received a new and in original packaging copy of the Xenoblade soundtrack in pristine condition. Everything about this order was perfect. I would definitely order from Otaku.com again."
