"I ordered a prism on 4/3/24. At the time it was backordered to be shipped 4/29/24. Later the ship date was slipped to 5/17, however the date in the catalog was slipped to 6/24 and I was not notified of this slip until later. Today I received an email from Orion with the subject line "Did Orion Telescopes & Binoculars Deliver?" The simple answer is "No" because I haven't received anything. Delving a little deeper, I might ask, why are you asking me? Did I miss something? Your delivery date is still a month away isn't it? Do you think that you delivered something to me? Thanks,

Orion processed my order but didn't inform me that it was back-ordered until I inquired about why it hadn't shipped yet after waiting for two weeks. At first they said it would be the end of May, and recently they extended it until late July. It sounds like a great telescope, so I accepted the delay, but clear communication at the beginning would have allowed me to consider cancelling."

My only qualm is the instructions for assembly were not always very clear and we have yet to get the laser scope calibrated. Getting it set up to be able to locate items is very difficult with little instruction on how to do so. "
