"Ordering was easy and delivery was extremely quick! Definitely recommend this company!"
"I bought the Orion-Brand filter for my Orion telescope thinking it would be certain to fit, and at the price point, i expected something more durable than a thin film filter. The filter os bigger than necessary and uses 3 screws to affix it to the barrel and it's just a film filter. I was also charged $58.72 CAD in unforseen brokerage charges on my $173.28 CAD ($124.29 USD) filter. I could have got this quality from K&F off Amazon for ~$30 CAD, delivered next day. There is nothing special about this filter."
"I purchased the solar filter for our 8" Skyline dob for the eclipse. It fit well and allowed for safe views of the sun during the event. Would recommend. "
"Used the Orion solar filter on my 300 mm telephoto lens. Not a perfect fit, but quite adequate for the event. Took beautiful pictures of the eclipse up to totality with the filter on, then removed it to get spectacular photos of the eclipse, solar prominences, and corona! "
"When I placed the order, I was advised that it was backordered and would ship in a few weeks.
Two weeks later I received an email with a tracking # for the shipment.
Received it a few days later. Happy that I was able to get the item as quickly as I did.
Pleased with the purchase.."
"They work great. Unfortunately the clouds in Texas didn't where we were. The glimpses I got were good. Think I even saw a small sun spot. And they showed up when stated."
"No issues with delivery of scope, very easy to set up"
"the binoculars met expectation but getting accessories such as tripod, and mounts have proven difficult to impossible. this size binoculars are not much use without accessories to mount them on."
“Thank you for your feedback and we do apologize for the delay. We're continually communicating with our suppliers and we're working to get new inventory back in stock as soon as we can, we appreciate your continued patience.

"Orion delivered exactly what they promised. Clear crisp views of the sun, moon and plenty of other awesome stars."
"Horrible they took my money gave me a delivery date, said they shipped it, then canceled and didn't or haven't credited me"
“We're sorry for the confusion. Your order was not cancelled, it was shipped on March 19 and is out for delivery today March 26. We emailed you twice and included the UPS tracking number. If you have any questions please contact us at 1-800-447-1001.”
"It was as advertised. Thank you"
"I have been a customer of Orion for several decades. I have never been disappointed with the quality of the products they sell. I have purchased telescopes, eyepieces and binoculars, and these products have always been first-rate. I have no hesitation in recommending Orion to anyone needing astronomical and optical products."
"I can’t wait for clear nights to gaze at the stars with my 8” Dobsonian Telescope. Now that I have this smartphone holder to take stunning photos of the moon, nebulae, and galaxies, I am in ultimate bliss! Life is complete…."
"Purchase a couple of eyepieces for my telescope.
I had to return one because the optics were not acceptable especially when it was the more expensive one - Orion EF Widefield 1.25" Eyepiece. Don’t bother buying this since the view is dim and detracts from seeing.
The fun started with trying to retur it. Numerous phone calls to ‘customer service’ who all work from home, want you to do the return yourself and then act as if its all a pain that is deliberate act to cause them maximum inconvenience. Rather than emailing a RMA label, you have to do it yourself on the site. When that didn’t work, then back on the phone for a dreaded series of admonitions and warnings that you have to pay an additional fee for temerity to get a RMA label.
I won’t go through this again.
It’s bad enough to get a low quality product that is misleading in description. Compounding the painful process to return, additional fees for doing so only adds insult to injury.
If products aren’t be subjected to Quality Control checks and delivering value, want is the point of punishing the customer?
Lesson learnt. Buy from your local astronomy store. They won’t argue and shrug their shoulders, regardless. I ended up buying a Pentax XW series eyepiece at a higher price and got the results I expected - not another disappointments and 3 weeks of back and forth."
“Thanks for your feedback and we apologize for the negative experience. We're happy to have received your return and processed a refund. Please contact us directly if you require any other assistance.

"Customer service rep was very rude to me and hung up on me. All I was doing was asking about my backordered telescope. They had changed the date several times. I wasn't rude with her. I was just curious as to why they kept changing the dates.
They forgot to include the laser pollinators for my scope and now said they can't get it until June.
"

"My order was very delayed because the telescope is back ordered but I still have no received it. & I had to ask for them to send me the binoculars which were always in stock. Not very pleased with my order, it was a Christmas present that came extremely late. "
