"My family and I loved it. The food arrived frozen solid and securely wrapped and packaged. The smashed potatoes, Brussel sprouts w/ bacon and shallots,cauliflower and broccoli gratin was so flavorful. Your pecan pie and pumpkin pie were like homemade. "I ordered the beef brisket flat and the representative assured me the seasonings came with it but it doesn't. Its Thanksgiving Eve and we opened the package and no seasonings were sent. I called Omaha Steaks to complain and found out you have to pay extra for the seasonings. However it wasn't presented to me that way. I spoke with the customer service manager who was not helpful at all and wanted to send me a $30 off coupon on my next purchase. In other words they wanted me to spend more money instead of trying to rectify the problem. I spent over $100 . The customer service manager was not customer service friendly at all. Moving forward, order your meat from a competitor!!!!! They were not helpful at all and really didn't care that their own representative misrepresented them."

I got a gift card for Omaha which was not enough to cover my purchase, so I did spend more than I anticipated, but I was hopeful. Huge letdown! All the hype about crown royal steak. These tasted no different than any choice cut steak. Very disappointed. Never thought to look at reviews beforehand, I figured they’d been in business so long for a reason. WellI placed a order for $186.98, but it only let me put in one Gift Cerificate ( $50.00), so I called them--no help- did not know what I was talking about, I asked to talk with her boss, (was on hold for 12 mim. the first time and ) , her boss ssid she could see what I was talking about and would get back to me, that was befor lunch. I called them back at 4:00 PM got some one else-- he told me that's the way it is and if I wanted the order I had to pay the shipping as I used Gift Certficate but if I payed with a credit card they could ship it free. No were on there site does it say that. Omaha Steaks is just a big rip off and there Customer Service is a joke. "

"In addition to the filets we got 4 large thick pork chops. Two are still in the freezer. The two I cooked were tough and dry; I am an experienced cook and have adequately cooked pork chops before; the 2 from Omaha were so tough we couldn’t eat them. Same, I am sorry to say, for the remaining 2 of 4 sirloin steaks we had for dinner tonight. Tough, stringy fibrous throughout. My husband threw away his remaining half uneaten. Too bad. Don’t order a combo pack, only filets. "
