Just Arrived Today

"No problems at all. Arrived in a timely manner right when you stated they would. The Brazil nuts are fabulous and the cashews are the best I have ever bought. Not like those puny things I have been buying.

There was no damage to the box whatsoever. Some folks are having problems with the almonds, and I hope they had them resolved. Thanks for the complimentary pistachios. Love those too.

That's the best zip-lock bag I ever encountered. They are very easy to re-seal even though they don't have that mechanical helper.

Great products BUT I hate all the non recyclable plastic bag packaging.

"I've ordered a few times and always love the products, especially the dark chocolate covered Brazil nuts and almonds. The dark chocolate coffee beans are delicious! So basically anything I've tried covered in dark chocolate rocks! Ok, I'm huge on recycling and taking care of the planet. My most recent order was quite large, at least 20 items. The delivery arrives and the shipment box is very cute, I'm actually keeping it to store different misc. household items. But, when I open the box and just see all the plastic bags of everything I'm disappointed. Yes, they have awesome prices and products but I'll pay more to receive the products in Recyclable packaging. You cannot recycle the bags, I even called to ask. Sadly, this is the reason for the 4 star not 5 rating above.
If I could give 3 1/2 I would, because I made split pea soup last weekend using 1 pound bag of their organic green split peas and they were old or something. I had them in the crockpot for 8 hours and they were still hard. I even had soaked them prior for about 2 hours. They looked just like any split peas I've ever bought, I've never had that happen before wth green split peas. Maybe regular beans, but never split peas. I then reset the crockpot for an additional 8 hours on high and cocked again. Still hard. Ugh! I was frustrated and decided to let it cool and put it into the blender. Ok, great idea because it was then edible and delicious. I still have another bag left though.

Shipping problems

"Like their products but not thrilled with shipping. They tell you that package will come on a certain date but arrives days later. Called customer service. My concern was somewhat dismissed by saying that the date is “approximate “. Don’t say a certain date if you can’t deliver on that promise. It would make more sense to give a date RANGE instead of 1 date. I was also told it is a busy season of the year. This is the second time this has happened to me. Last order was back in early November. Instead of excuses, try to come up with solutions "

Guarantee is shady!

"They say they guarantee 100% satisfaction. They do not even try! Bought "chopped" macadamia nuts for $20 per pound. (Call me crazy...last year they were $15). Received a bag that were more like "ground" macadamia nuts. Complained that 40% or the bag was "macadamia sawdust". They put an $8 credit on my account at nuts .com. As if .... I am going to pick the 60% of macadamia pieces out of the sawdust to use? I call B.S. Told them to keep their $8. Will NEVER use them again & will make a point of telling my baker friends that nuts.com guarantee is false advertising."

False Advertising

"I use Hershey's Mini Kisses for holiday baking. They are increasingly difficult to find. A general search for these lead me to Nuts.com. The item information on their website specifically notes Hershey's Mini Kisses and even includes the Registered Trademark symbol. I was so thrilled to find this item that I ordered 10 bags. I was SO disappointed when the box arrived and the bags are Nuts.com bags that have a laser printed label reading, "Hershey Mini Kisses." It's so clear this is a knock-off, it's almost laughable. The taste is different, size is different, not the same and certainly not what I ordered.

I gave them a chance to fix it and called Customer Service. The agent asked me to send a photo of the chips so they could see if what I got match my order. I told them the Nuts.com bags had the thermal label printed description of Hershey Mini Kisses....but the kisses/chips aren't even close to the Hershey product. The agent noted he would send an email to me letting me know how to upload a photo. No email.

I want to return 9 of the 10 bags I ordered (doesn't seem right to return the bag I opened to taste the product), but now I have to pay for shipping to get the product back to them.

Sooooo....I spend a bunch in shipping just to get a partial refund.

I can't say loudly and strong enough, "BUYER BEWARE!"

They had a chance to make it right and failed at that, too.

"This was my first time ordering on nuts.com. I ordered 2 pounds of mixed nuts. when I opened my first pound bag there was only 2 Brazil nuts. Then I opened my second bag and there were 0 Brazil nuts "

First and LAST order

"I ordered for the first time. Got a confirmation. On day it was to be delivered, no tracking number. They held the order up because card address and delivery address didn’t match. They never called or emailed to say there was an issue. I work for a company in one city based in another. Is this really that unusual in corporate world? That’s why they have the security code on the card! Ridiculous. And their 100% Guarantee to make it right is a load of crap. Customer Service said he was sorry and it shouldn’t have happened. Is that supposed to make it right? I have no product I counted on for TODAY! "

Confused

"I have no idea how to leave a review on the website.. If we can't even leave reviews then maybe that already raises a red flag. I bought from this company for the first time recently, a pound of butternut peanuts, and they were nowhere near as good as I thought they would be, judging by the "reviews". Some of them might've been stale. A lot of them tasted very chemically. One was so bad I had to spit it out. I probably won't buy from here again."

No issues in the year and a half I've been ordering

"I've been ordering for about a year and a half and never had any issues. About every three months I place a pretty large order of nuts. Good selection and I've always been happy with the quality."

Horrible customer service

"I have been ordering for a few months. Had no problems with the orders until last week. They delivered the wrong item. That's ok, I get it. Mix ups happen. But to correct the problem, I have to wait yet another week to receive the right order. They refused to expedite the replacement order. After that refusal, I sent another request and was told so sorry can't expedite because it's coming from a different location. So I called and told them to cancel the order and credit my money back to me. I was told they couldn't do that either because the item has shipped. I told the customer service person I would refuse shipment and they could have it back and they can credit me. His response was "we'll cross that bridge when we get there". Really!!! this is your best response to a customer that is not happy with your customer service. So finally a manager told me I would be credited back my money. Sorry "Nutty" people you are not the only company providing snacks. Customer service is what sets companies apart from each other. You "Nutty" people have failed!miserably."

Poor customer service

"I have ordered from nuts.com several time with great service and product. My last order was awful the put something in the chocolate to keep it from melting. It makes the chocolate hard and tasteless. I contacted customer service before I got a reply. They told me to throw out the cream drops and gave me a partial store credit. I’m not happy with nuts.com and will not be ordering from them again. They can have my partial store credit."

False Advertising

"I purchased two 25 lb boxes of supposedly green peanuts. They arrived in two days crunchy brown. Where I come from green means raw. You can't boil dried nuts. "

No Issues

"I have been ordering from Nuts.com for over a year and I NEVER have any issues. Orders are usually shipped same day and received the following day. Cold packs are placed if I order anything with chocolate to avoid melting. When something is not very good, I have always received a store credit - no questions asked.

I work for a major corporation and "snacks" are offered to employees. I do admit that is can be very pricey, but I am using a corporate credit card. Happy Customer :)

Consistently excellent service and quality

"I've ordered multiple times from this family-owned company and their customer service, competitive pricing, product quality and freshness, and lightning speed delivery have been phenomenal every time. They continue to surprise me, and that's not an easy thing to do. I can't imagine an actual bad experience with this company and am surprised to find so many negative reviews only occurring on this site.

Somebody mentioned rigged reviews on nuts.com, which--aside from sounding paranoid--I'd like to refute. As a regular customer, I can attest to the fact that it's extremely easy to submit a review for every product purchased, and it's posted regardless of number of stars.

I've never been to the ResellerRatings site before, but given the huge difference between other review sites and the suspiciously low star rating here, I'm wondering if there's some palm-greasing going on by competitors or something. These reviews seem very suspicious.
