"Claims that UPS picked up - but UPS has no record outside of receiving MyWorldPhone.com's billing information. Customer Service (toll Call) is non-existant: E-mail requests go unanswered: I entered a PayPal dispute; MyWorldPhone.com's sole response has been "Shipped UPS - No Tracking info available."

My opinion: A bunch of Third World shysters. Stay Away from these clowns!

"Most other reviews talk about their phone. In my opinion, if you use someone like this, you should already know what you want. You should know features and functions. With that, these folks are one of the lowest around. The problem is that these are not the most secure and comforting folks around either. I was very nervous; reading only 2 positves and many more negatives (after I ordered, of course). I called them directly BEFORE I ordered, because I needed the phone for a gift and needed it next-day air. I was assured it was "in stock" and would be shipped out that same day. The reality, they printed the label on the day that I asked them to ship it, but didn't actually put it in to be shipped until the day after. Now I don't mind taking some of the blame for waiting last minute, but come on, I paid extra, and was told (even after I called the next day) that my order went out the day I order it. If I had been told the truth, I could at least go back to my gift receipiant and explained what happened. But I was lied to and was left wondering for another day whether or not I ordered from some really bad people. In the end, I got everything I order, in a sealed and new box. I wish I didn't have to pay for extra shipping since I didn't get it, but it was still $100+ better than some of the most "reputable" dot.com's out there. Let's face the added security and technology (order tracking, issue resolution, etc.) costs money, thus explaining why the others are most expensive. With this company, you call up and get 1 of only a couple of folks working out of an apparent garage. Know what you are getting and buy with a credit card, that in case it goes south, you can turn it in for recovery (like B of A)."

"I was reluctant at first to order from my world phone. The price was very good for 2 Black Razrs, just $215 each. Was the lowest price I could find. I was scared that i would be ripped off or sent non working phones, because I have heard from past instances from other consumers. I called them a few times and talked on the internet, my experiences were mixed, sometimes they were very nice and sometimes they were mean and talked to me like they had a product that i couldent get anywhere else, something these guys should consider is treating the customers how they should be treated. so i ordered the phones and the website stated that it would ship 2nd day UPS, when i got the UPS delivery email, i noticed it was sent ground. I got the package the next day, but the $35 shipping fee was a bit much for inner city shipment in NYC just for ground. I got the phones and they have worked fine so far, its only been 1 week, but i have not had any problems, they used newspaper to secure the packagine, which is somthing they should improve. Phones were brand new and not touched, somthing i was conceaned about.


all in all my experience was good with my world phone, just from other consumers, id still have caution about ordering from them again.

"I recently purchased a Motorola a780 from MyWorldPhone.com. Soon after receiving the product, I realized it was missing a key feature I wanted (EDGE support) even though it was described with this feature in the product description. I called them nearly a dozen times to rectify this problem (I even recommended they change the description on their website). The result: A partial refund. Even though it was their fault they misrepresented the product, I lost nearly $100 from this transaction.

I’ve asked to speak directly with the owner or supervising manager only to be hung up on twice. I’ve tried to get contact information for a manager or owner, and they would not give it to me. I’ve been blatantly lied to (twice they said I would get the balance of the refund by a certain date). This has been going on since October 21st with no resolve in sight.

I’ve pretty much given up on getting the rest of my money. This was the worst online transaction I have ever experienced.

If you are considering purchasing a phone from MyWorldPhone.com, my advice would be to look elsewhere.

"i have had a horrible time in dealing with myworldphone.com.they ended up sending a defective phone and chraged me restocking fees even though they were at fault and thier website clearly states that restocking fees will only be charged for non-defective goods whic are return not the defectice good which is thier fault...no reply to my emails..i took a loss of above 100 dollars just because i placed an order from them..i was very dissatisfied and would not reccommend them..."

"What ever you do don't do business with MYWORLDPHONE.COM. I purchased a Motorola V635 from their web site; I never received the phone or an explanation why they never shipped it. Their web site says "Everything that you see on our web site is physically in stock". I e-mailed them and called them and was never given any information as to why my order did not ship. When calling them (on my own dime) I would be put on hold for 15 or 20 minutes at a time and would be told that someone would call me back. Yeah right. I went to PayPal as a last resort and filed a claim for none receipt. They awarded me my money back. MYWORLDPHONE in my opinion is a fraudulent seller; they will take your money and run. The customer service is horrible. If you make a purchase with this company you are making a mistake. There are many good and honest companies that will deliver what they promise; MYWORLDPHONE is not one of them. This is from someone who they ripped off and knows."

"Overall bad experience due to seller's inability to follow through on promises, accurately describe their product, respond to email, and properly address a package.

First, shortly after paying for the item and the promoted second day service, I received notification that the item would be shipped via ground. Second, after a week of waiting for the item to trek across the country I noticed in the UPS tracking notes that the package was undeliverable. Turns out the seller omitted my street address so I was forced to pick the package up from UPS. Finally, once I took possession of the item, I noticed that the packaging was not sealed, language was set to Chinese, and power adapter was for Hong Kong. Much to my surprise the phone was in good, working condition. Again be very leery of this seller – they won't be there when things go wrong.

Just received my nokia 7710. My first impression was that the phone is so big or something, but after two hours i realize how small the phone is compare to group of programs that is in it. I ordered the phone day before yesterday and received it today. Yes, it is not a very easy to use phone, its more like a PDA than a phone. The amazing Nokia 7710 has all the standard acronym features that have come to be expected of a phone in this class: GSM (tri-band), GPRS/EDGE (high-speed data transmission), MMS/SMS (messaging), and an MP3 media player. The phone also comes equipped with a smartphone Symbian Series 90 operating system and a host of options for wireless connectivity, including Bluetooth support. The 7710's multimedia capabilities, however, are what make it stand out from the crowd. One glance at the 7710 and there's no doubt as to its primary function. The multipurpose device consists of a wide, 65K color, touchscreen display that takes up nearly an entire side. Its 1.3 megapixel camera goes well with this type of display, as do its extensive set of video streaming, recording, and playback features. The 7710's wide screen can be used with a PDA-type stylus or even just the finger for dialing a number on the on-screen keypad.

Photo editing applications include the ability to sketch over an existing megapixel image as well as traditional digital camera functions like crop, zoom, and flip. "I recently purchase a Mototola E398, and the phone arrived in new condition and no precivable problems after using it for a week. the carrier they used was UPS. and it arrived with all the acceriores that they said on their web site. they kept their word on the 2 day shipping. it left their stores a few hours after i purchased it online.

Overall,i'm happy with the service they provided.

this was when the phone was working well, my phone stoped working 1 mth later. it took me about another mth to figure out how to get it repaired. The vendor told me that the warrenty is with motorola and they should fix it for me. then after talking with motorola they said its not supported in the US. Motoroal in the US refuesd to repair it. the vendor didnt offer much help too. When i first told them of my problem, they said it was Motoroal problem. Well, I had to talk with Motoroal in 2 different counties to have solution. Then when I contacted the vendor again for assistance, cause i had to send my phone to another country and they were not going to ship it back to me. they told that i could include the shipping payment back to the US, he added that this is what his customers usually do. I was rather feud up as this had happen before the vendor should have at least made a reasonable effort to infom me when I bought the phone that the warrenty is ONLY valid in the UK. What use is a warrenty if it is not valid in the country that i bought the device, instead i now have to spend even more to get the phone repaired.

"I bought a Motorola E398 from myworldphone on November 25th 2004. They ship all their product UPS 2nd day. I got the phone within 48 hours. The phone came with:
phone, battery, back cover, usb cable, one cd rom, 5 language manual, 64mb sd card, a transflash card and motorola retail packaging. The phone has no logo of any carrier. The phone was also unlocked. I would reccommend everyone to this store to get your next phone.
