"It's extremely difficult to talk with anyone at this company due to the language barrier. So, I ordered what I thought was the product I wanted on line. The product (a phone charger) sold for $9.99.

Unlike Amazon and other providers, My World Phone did not offer free shipping. So, add $13.80 to my bill for shipping and handling. My total expense for this charger was then $23.79. When the package arrived (six days after I order it) I discovered that what they shipped (and what I thought that I had orderd) were not the same. I looked at the shipping paper work in the box and read the following" There is a 15%restocking fee applies in All returns". That statement was followed by " All returns must be done with in 7 calendar days from purchase". In effect, that meant that even if I had gone to the post office or UPS store immediately I would have been outside of their 7 day restriction. Stay away from this organization. They ripped me off...don't let them do it to you too."

When I asked whether or not they would backorder this I was told they would not and that they receive new inventory all the time.

"I purchased a Motorola Razr2 V9 phone from my world phone on dec 10 for xmas gift ending up needing a new sim card old style at&t didn't work. Wasn't put into service until mid jan. apx the 5th time it was charged the female socket came out when I unplug the charger. two phone calls and 2 e-mails to my world phone and no one would get back to me on warranty. I finaly contacted motorola they told me it would be considered physical damage (not covered) but if I wanted to dispute it I could sent $75 and the phone and they would inspect it. don't buy motorola and don't consider MyWorldPhone"

Personnaly, the best phone I've had. The cons I could think of is that the battery drains fairly quickly if you surf the internet but this is probably the same for other phones; interface is not as colourful and fanciful as some phones but still looks pretty cool (especially the home screen with wigets)but more importantly functional.
Got this phone off from myworldphone.com and this is not the first time that i m getting phone from them . I can rely on them easily as all their product till today was super good along with their shipping method . "The positive reviews here have to have been written by the clowns who own this "business". On June 4, 2009 I ordered what was listed as a NEW Motorola Razor phone. I received a USED phone with a EUROPEAN style charger making it useless to me. The owner's manual looks like it was smashed down into a couch crevice for a few years. I don't even know if the phone works since I can't use the charger and the battery that they sent me is dead. I began emailing them a couple of days after I received the phone asking for return info. After over a week and several emails, I have had NO response from any of the several email addresses that they have listed. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE! They will sell you some piece of junk that they pulled from a dumpster and you will be stuck with it since they never respond to requests!"

"Myworldphone is the most pathetic site I have done online purchase from.
- This company has no processes to speak off. They say one thing and do something else.
- They don't respond to emails
- Their "24" service is a sham
- Their return policy sucks

All in all if you want to mess up your life go ahead and buy from them.

Problem (in brief):
I purchased a Samsung i900 phone from them with a 2 year warranty for $483. I had to return the phone twice back to them - first time it was the wrong phone being delivered, second time a defective phone was delivered.
For both returns I had to spend a total of $35 as they do not give you a return slip. It is also a painful process to first get the RMA from them.

Their return dept promised full refund but that never happened even after repeated mails and phone calls. Everytime I spoke to somebody (if I was able to get hold of somebody) I had to repeat the entire story. They paid back little less than 85% of my original amt.

For this nightmarish experience I lost in total $150 + my sanity. For a few bucks of initial saving, these guys are not worth it. If anything goes wrong then that saving is wiped out plus you end up paying far more than what Amazon or Buy.com might have charged you.

"I purchase a phone on July 5th, 2008 through myworldphone.com on-line service after verifying availability and ground shipping rules 2-4 days to Atlanta Georgia. On July 6th, I received two calls from myworldphone.com to verify my ID and was told that the phone will be shipped no later that July 7. On July 6 I received a UPS tracking number. On the Afternoon of July 7, UPS had yet to receive the package. I spent hours chatting on line with myworldphone.com customer support representative who could not provide status on the package. On July 8th, I was informed by one individual that my order was not shipped due to lark of verification of my identity via their phone call process. I had done this on Sunday July 6th.
Later in the morning of July 7th, I was told by another individual that the order was at the UPS hub, but was not picked / place on a UPS truck. I offered to pay for my inconvenience by offering to pay extra in order to expedite the shipping. The individual informed they will check to see whether this was possible and also will verify whether UPS has the package on a truck and will call me back within 1 hour. I did not hear from anyone after 1 hour and called myworldphone.com and an individual hang up on me by changing to voice mail when I firmly ask about my order. I recalled several times, and finally I was told that the individual who was going to check with UPS was out to lunch and I need to call back after 4pm. Needless to say I cancelled my order.

I noticed from my shipping notification that the e-mail came from company called Empire Global Tech, Inc. There was no contact number for this company but you are advised in the email to contact them for shipping questions. However, I would expect myworldphone.com to be interested in resolving a shipping issue for an item that was sold by them and paid for even if they use another company to ship the merchandise.

I was left with the impression of “we were paid” and you are on your own and cannot recommend them for future purchases.
