"I am angered and disappointed by MyShoeStore.com and recommend people steer clear of ever ordering from this website.
I ordered 3 pairs of shoes in Dec-07, and rec'd 1 pair right away. I decided to cancel the order for the other 2 pair after waiting for over a month. When I finally got in touch with a customer rep I was told the other pairs were on back order and they did not know how long they would take. Since I ordered the other 2 pairs for a cruise I was taking in Feb, I did not want to wait and just ordered them from another website. I was told I would get reimbursed for the other 2 pairs, BUT I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY MONEY 5 months later! I have sent countless e-mails to them, with only 2-3 responses. In those responses I was told they are having a problem with there accounting system and I should receive my reimbursement shortly. All I want is my money back. They basically stole money from me and that is a crime where I come from. I even reported them to the BBB, but apparently they do not care, since they never responded to them or me.

"I placed an order on June 1st and received my shipment by June 10th, 2008. I placed the order before reading the horrible reviews, and after reading them became very scared that I had made a mistake by purchasing from this online vendor. But to my surprise everything went extremely well, and I would probably buy from them again !"

"I wish I had read the other customers' reviews prior to placing my order. My experience is identical to several of the complaints entered. I placed an order March 3. I was sent an email confirmation immediately, and my checking account was debited very quickly. I later received an email stating the the shoes were unavailable, and they did not have an estimated date of availability and I had an option of cancelling the order or waiting for it to come in. I immediately replied to the email to cancel the order. They sent another email stating that I should receive a refund in 7 business days. That never happened! I sent three additional emails to inquire about the status of the refund, only to have none of them answered. I also tried calling the toll-free number several times. On one occasion, after being on hold for almost 30 min., a representative told me that there refund process had changed, and that they were now sending out checks. According to her, I should have received my check by May 31, 2008. I called again on June 5, and was told they weren't sure what was going on with the refund. She transferred me to a supervisor name "Jason", but only his voicemail was available. I left a detailed message about the problem, my name, phone numbers, etc. He has never returned the call. Today, June 10, 2008, I called the toll-free number, and now the recording says "The customer service dept. is temporarily closed. Please reach us online at...". I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in New Hampshire. Please DO NOT order anything from this company. It appears that they continue to lie to their customers. I pray that something will be done soon to help customers that have been taken advantage of. Also, if you have experienced problems with myshoestore.com, I urge you to go online and file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and enter your complaints at online rating sites. No matter how many other negative reviews this company has, still post your opinon/experience. Perhaps the more complaints that are heard, the better our chances of being heard and ultimately getting our money back. "

"I can't believe the the issues I have had. Placed my order and after 1 month emailed to find out what was going on. The return email and then that was it. I should have known better but I was patient and waited for my refund. 2 calls later I WAS TOLD THEY HAD PROBLEMS WITH REFUNDING a check would be issued. well still no check they won't even answer my calls anymore. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business bureau and with my bank I will see what happens but I feel I waited to long. I am to trusting and I felt like they would do the right thing, Please buyers beware. Find someplace else to order merchandise"

"Having successfully used MyShoeStore a few years ago, I thought nothing of ordering from them again, without checking on resellerratings.com first. BIG mistake.

----------
1) On 14/03/08 I ordered a pair of shoes that appeared to be in stock.

2) After waiting a week without receiving a shipping notice, I emailed asking when I should expect to receive my shoes.

3) MyShoeStore responded that the shoes were backordered and would take a further 3 weeks to arrive.

4) Knowing that these shoes were available elsewhere for a similar amount, I immediately cancelled my order (on 21/03/08).

5) I received an email confirming the order cancellation and indicating that I would be credited shortly.

6) It is now 09/05/08, 8 weeks since the initial order and 7 weeks since cancelling it.
No refund has yet been received despite weekly emails to them and their replies promising that the issue has been "sent to the refund dept. and that I will be refunded shortly".

7) Having no faith that I will ever receive my refund, the matter will now be passed on to my credit card provider instead.

"Like most of the posting for this vendor, I placed an order, was charged, oredered cancelled, promises of a refund, a refund confirmation number was given, etc but no refund/credit ever applied. There is help and you can get your refund. I filed a claim against the company with the Attorney General for the state of New Hampshire. They reviewed my complaint and correspondence I had with the company and they got my refund for me. The were great! My first recommendation to anyone is to NOT purchase anything from these people. They need to be shut down for their business practives but if you have been burned contact the Attorney General's office. You can file the compliant on-line. "

"I placed an order on 11/2/07. Was charged immediately on credit card.Was told theshoes were onback order, could expect them in 30 days. Called 30 days later and was told they were still on back order and I could expect them by the first of January. NOTHING. called again, no answer. E-mailed my cancellation and request for my credit card to be refunded on 1/16/o8.NOTHING. Tried to call and got recording that "your call is very important to us,a rep. will be with you shortly." I let it ring over 1/2 hr. just to see.NOTHING. E-mailed again 3/24/08 demanding a response and refund and have heard NOTHING. I am out $90.00 plus dollars. This company is a FRAUDULENT SCAM. How can this happen and what can those of us do to retrieve our money and stop this from happening? "

"BUYER BEWARE! I placed an order for shoes on 3/10 and was charged immediately for them. After two weeks of waiting for them, I inquired on their whereabouts (3/25). I received a response indicating that my shoes were unavailable and did not have an estimated time of availability. I then cancelled my order on 3/25 and was told that my credit card would be refunded. As of today (4/21), I STILL have not received a refund and have filed a dispute with my credit card company. I have inquired three times (4/2, 4/9, 4/15) now where my refund is and have been told that it is processing "shortly". This company has had my money for over a month collecting interest in their account while I have nothing. Learn from my mistake! This company has bad business practices - go to Zappos and receive excellent customer service."

"I placed the order on Jan. 14, 08, they charged my credit card on that day. They cancelled my order stating not available and in 30 days refund will appear on my credit card. I've Emailed, called numerous times, no one answers and no one responds to any Emails. They do not tell the truth! The last call, after waiting for 18 min. stated credit was issued on April 4th. After a week, still not refunded. If you stay on the line for close to 30 min. another voice will ask you to Email to a "Jason" for assistance. He has not replied to any of my 3 Emails. In fact, none of my Emails have been answered although they claim to respond in one business day. NEVER DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE! They are a fraud and I will report them to the Consumer Affairs and BBB. I am out $114.99. They need to held accountable for what they do to the consumers. I would like to know how many have received any refunds from My Shoe Store!!"

"On 1/19/08 I ordered a pair of shoes. On 1/22/08 the money was taken out of my account but I was informed that it could take up to 30 days to get my shoes. 30 days passed and I did not receive my shoes. I called their customer service number and there was a message that there phone lines were down. I emailed them on 2/12/08 about the shoes. I got an auto response that I would get a response within 5 days. By 2/20/08 I did not get a response so I emailed them again. After not getting a response again I requested an immediate refund. 2/21/08 I got an email stating that they cancelled my order and I should get my refund within 30 days. By 3/21/08 I did not have my refund so I sent another email. Their response was that they would resend the refund request to the credit department and I should get it soon. 3/31/08 came and I did not have my refund yet. I emailed again and got no response. 4/2/08 I tried to call and actually got someone in customer service. She was very rude and gave me the email for the store manager, Jason, to contact but would not give me the phone number. I emailed Jason and after a few hours did not have a response. I called back and asked to speak to the customer service person's supervisor. I was transferred to Jason's voicemail and I asked for a call back; I did not get one. 4/3/08 I got an email response that stated I should have my refund in 3 days. On 4/8/0/8 I called my bank because it was not posted to my account and they have no refund processing. I emailed Jason and got no response. I called and got no response to my voicemail. 4/9/08 I emailed again with no response. 4/11/08 I called and again got very rude customer service. I asked for the owner's contact information and they refused to give it to me. I was told all emails are responded to. I told her I left emails and phone messages that went unanswered. She did not care and told me I could email the store manager again. STILL WAITING!! I contacted the Better Business Bureau of NY and I suggest everyone else do the same so they can't scam more people."

"i ordered boots from Lord John's Footwear/ MyShoeStore.com on Jan. 16 only to find out that it could take up to 30 days to receive my boots which I find absolutely ridiculous. By the 18th my card was charged so they have been paid for the shoes. I have repeatedly tried to contact them through both email and phone and have yet to succeed. It has now been 27 days since the order and I have yet to receive the boots or been able to contact them. I have just contacted the BBB and am hoping to get my money back and to close them down. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! ITS A SCAM!"

"I am astonished by the amount of negative reviews regarding this website and how this company continues to do business with the public. I could of written half of the reviews I see on this site. I placed an order with myshoestore.com on 12/27/07. I never received an email confirmation of this order and was concerned it did not process. However, I noticed the next day that my credit card was charged therfore confirming they did get my order. However, I had no idea of shipping time etc and the item was a gift. I contacted the company via email twice with no reply. I then attempted to contact them via phone, only to be left on hold for 30 minutes, 25 mintues. When I finally reached a customer service representative on 1/2/07, I was told the item was not in stock and availability was unkown. I questioned why I was not notified of the unavailability and why they still charged my credit card. The woman was extremely rude and informed me it was their policy. I requested that my order be cancelled and she granted my request. The next day I received an email confirming this cancellation and stating that my credit card would be refunded "within 30 days". I was obviously annoyed at the 30 day period, but decided I didn't have time to sit on hold for an exorbant amount of time again, nor did I appreciate the way I was treated by the customer service representative. 30 days goes by.. no refund. On 2/4/07 I contacted the company (once again, after being on hold for 30 plus minutes) and inquired as to why I did not yet see a credit. The customer service rep, MIranda, was once again rude (must be in the company's training) and informed me that the 30 days would of fallen on a Sunday and they are not open on Sundays. I reminded her that their policy stated "within 30 days" and it should of been credited prior or on 2/2/08. She assured me it would be credited that day 2/4/08 and I would see it process within 2-3 days. I asked to speak to a supervisor, she laughed and told me that speaking to that person would not solve the problem and would be wasting my time and theirs. I once again requested to speak to him/her. I was then put on hold for a while (surprise surprise) and finally was transferred to a voicemail of a woman who sound an awful lot like the woman I was just speaking to. I went ahead and left my information and name and asked that I receive a call back. No response Well here I am 5 days later,(37 days after the order was cancelled) no credit applied to my card. So I called the company again and guess what?!!! The message I got was "Due to unforseen circumstances, we are not open at this time. Please call back later". I am starting to get a little suspicous. I have filed a complaint report with the NH BBB and looking at that site, I am just one of a hundred people who were treated poorly and victim of their fraudulant activity. I will contacting my credit card company since I do have all the documentation re: the order being cancelled and that I SHOULD be receiving a credit. I hope thise website will prevent many people from doing "business" with this company. I wish I had researched them prior to ordering. I will now be doing that before ordering from any online site. Lesson learned.. unfortuantely, it was an expensive lesson.
