"I am in NC. Movie Mars is in NC. I placed my order on Feb 6, in plenty of time (I thought) to arrive at my house for my birthday on Feb 13. I ordered several other items from Amazon that were coming from much farther away (NV) than the cd I ordered from Movie Mars(NC). The rest of my orders arrived with time to spare. It is Feb 19 and I am STILL waiting for this cd to arrive. Not only that, but MM tells me they shipped it out via DHL and will get to me via my mailman. When I looked at tracking, my order is en route to GA (!) before coming back to me in NC! That is messed up and I will NEVER NEVER EVER order from Movie Mars again! (and i will warn others not to as well.) I should get a refund or some free stuff...something for this hassle."
"Ordered the cuckoos calling book from them through BN website. They told BN they shipped my item but never did. Had to force BN to contact MovieMars to refund my money since they stopped replying to my emails. Will never shop from them or BN site again. Going Amazon next time."

I contacted them and they told me it was already delivered to me and sent me a UPS tracking number that did not exist, (according to the UPS) I finally had to file an A-Z claim with Amazon.com to get my money refunded. "I recently ordered a CD from Movie Mars for a Christmas gift. After 2 weeks of waiting for my order to arrive I emailed the company but never recieved an answer. I waited another week and with still no answer I tried to call (numerous times) but got nothing other than a voice mail from Thanksgiving, so I tried emailing again. Finally I recieved a response but nothing other than a tracking number. No explanation or apology even included. I am very very disapointed with this company on every level. Their customer service is terrible and their communication with their customers is appaling!
I finally got my order today and it was addressed to myself OR CURRENT RESIDENT. What? What kind of business sends an order to Or Current Resident. Sure glad the order did come to my house and was not accidentally delivered to someone else.
This has been by for the absolute worst experience I have even had from a company online! I would recommend to anyone that wants to place an order with Movie Mars to Stay Away!!! Find somewhere else to do your shopping!"
"I have contacted moviemars.com several times. I ordered a BOOK from them and they marked the packaging they sent it to me as containing a DVD (which you do have to pay custom charges on), they have completely refused to take any responsibility for this. I had to pay for more than half the book I ordered in a customs charges (in the uk there are no duty charges on books)."
"Stay Away!! Be aware that MovieMars.com will send you a DVD that will not work on equipment in the US. When you return the DVD, they will credit the disc but not the shipping you paid to get it or the shipping you paid to return it. Beware -- and stay away!!"
"Do Not order from Movie Mars through Amazon UK. They carry UK DVD's but do not seem to want to ship them from the US to the US. My order has been in " processing " for over a week, with them continually refusing to give me a shipping confomation. When ordered, the DVD was in question is in stock. The irony is that I am but 200 miles from their stated shipping point.

Negatives = Even after advertising a common American cd/dvd upc, THEY WILL SHIP A CHEAPER IMPORT FROM ARGENTINA when possible (80% of my U.S. ordered items were actually from Argentinian music companies/labels!). They take several days before shipping, but charge your credit card as soon as you order. They cancelled a few items due to false inventory, but still charged my card until I notified them.
*I recently received an email from them, offering me a $5 refund if I posted several positive reviews for MovieMars around the internet, so be cautious of glowing reviews."
"Despite some bad reviews on their shipping I decided to purchase a DVD from this site... it was the cheapest I could find it for! On top of taking my chances I didn't even pay for shipping (I chose the free shipping route) and I received it within 8 days (Although it took them 5 days to ship it the post office delivered it in 3 days) I personally think that's a reasonable amount of time for shipping- especially when it's free!!! Extremely happy with the company and would deffinately buy from again!!!"

"Pros:I recently purchased Mobile Suit Gundam Complete Collection DVD from Moviemars.com. I chose this company for the best price I could find. Their shipping rates were very reasonable, free to $2 expedited. Correct item shipped. Well described.
Cons: I paid the extra $2 to have my DVD with in 2-3 business days. It took the company 6 days before they shipped it, and another 7 days to receive the movie. I found that they shipped it DHL to Chicago, then media mail to my house in Mid-Michigan.
Pro: Refunded for shipping after e-mailed complaint.
Would purchase from company again, however not worth paying for expedited shipping."
