"I currently have an order number that was not fulfilled. Nobody bothered to call me and tell me the scheduled date for pickup never happened. I had to do my own research to find out the driver never called anybody. It is the auto transportation business in general that cant get things done because they are at the beck and call of private carriers who pick and choose off a public dispatch board. One auto transport is really no better than the next one. It's the nature of the beast. Montway has made it impossible to leave a google review too with keeping google out of the picture. I find that rather interesting in itself. There is not much anybody can do either except to deal with local carriers."
"Classic bait and switch, they had my car booked for 5 days before anything was even done, and the only reason they even did anything was because I called for a update and when I did I was not assisted at all, blown off and treated like trash. I called back and asked for a manager, I spoke to Joe who I suggested should review their recorded message for training purposes and train his associates. In the end someone else called me and said they could pick up my vehicle that day but it would be a extra $160.00, they had already wasted 5 days. I said yes, but I expressed to them that I was not happy. In the end I did not even get a apology fro the inferior customer service. Do yourself a favor and take your business somewhere you will be treated right.

"Transported a classic 1967 Pontiac between Florida locations. Easy to book. Good price. Representatives courteous and professional. Pick up and delivery within reasonable time limits. Driver could have been better handling a standard shift. Would recommend and use again if needed. "
"This company was suppose to grab 3 of my vehicles. One was not working, and they were aware of this. I informed them that is does not work, but they sent someone without a winch anyways. I was also told that the carrier would call me a few hours in advance (they did not). I was unable to move my vehicle. I had to make a completely separate order to haul my car and they refunded me around 900$. They now told me that I must pay 1100$ because the car was not operable. Again, I already informed them in the beginning that it wasn’t. I was told that everything was under control now and that they could move my car. Wrong. They call me a day before telling me that I need to get a fork lift to put my car on the flat bed. This is the worst transportation company I have EVER came across. They have lied and have given me so many excuses and issues while emptying my wallet. Do not hire. "
"I was happy to do business with them! I was picked up and brought to my destination in a timely manner. The driver was friendly and he had a great sense of humor. It seemed that he really cared about the task he was providing. I will do business with Montway again!"

"I was given a quote to which I agreed, but when the driver arrived, he decided to apply special handling, consisting of wrapping all of the furniture in plastic wrap, NOT BUBBLE WRAP, and taping the plastic wrap with miles of tape, for which I was charged. He also added 180 cubic feet to the original estimate, which was absolutely not true,adding a total of $1334 without my authority. Then the truck broke down and they transferred my shipment into a Budget truck, reloading every-thing and mixing it with a shipment of what looked like yard sale leftovers, my stuff, was in the very front of the truck taking no more than two feet of space..hardly the cubic footage for which I was charged. The day before it arrived, the barely intelligible person who called, Bill, foreign accent so deep, could only understand a few words, told me I would have to pay another $375 for the "shuttle" they had to use..(the Budget truck) which would make it a total $1709 more than my binding quote...the drivers were very nice but couldn't make a difference to what their "boss" told them was due. I attempted to get a resolution directly with the original office but they refused to admit there was anything wrong in what they did, which tells me who they are. I would not recommend this company under any circumstances, they are just crooked."
"Montway is just terrible. They have a nice website with live chat and a cheap quote. I was a sucker to take that bait. The service is terrible. They are broker who send out listing to the driver but they don't actually call driver to book the assignment. They just wait for driver to call them. Minimum to zero efforts on Montway part. I booked an order 4 days ago and told them I have an urgent need to have the car picked up in 4 days with no exception. As a sales tactic, they promised they could do it. A day before the pick up time, I contacted them to see if a driver has been assigned because the deadline is a day away. They promised they would do it and I am their top priority. Again, I am a fool to believe it! On the day of deadline, I contacted Montway again for the status. With less than 5 hours to deadline, they promise to work on assigning a driver. Well, bullsh*t!! I called another transportation company and a driver was assigned within an hour because this new transportation company actually put me on hold to call/find a driver. Now that is what I call awesome customer service, unlike Montway. Once that is booked, I canceled Montway. I advised you not to use Montway. They only make promises and doesn't follow through. I wish they would be more upfront and honest about their service instead making promises they can’t fulfill. I would have understand if they told me early enough that they don’t have a driver. I would be okay with it and will use their service next time. But instead, they making promises that they can’t fulfill. I will never use Montway again or recommend it. Don’t use Montway, don't be a sucker!!"

"I chose Montway because of its ratings on Transport Reviews, however, my experience wasn't as positive as the online reviews. Five days after I had contracted with Montway, I still had not been notified as to when my Corvette was being picked up. 7 days into the contract I had to call Montway to find out when my car was being picked up. After threatening to move on to another transport company, I received a call from a Montway representative stating that I would have to pay an extra $100 to have the vehicle picked up within a couple of days. Unlike other reviewers, I did not receive any verification from Montway that my vehicle had been picked up. My Corvette arrived at my home three days later after sundown--in the dark--so it was difficult to examine the vehicle for any damage. My only positive on this experience is that the driver was careful with my car and courteous. Montway isn't anything special."
