They had a great price on an excellent monitor with a free shipping special. Fortunately my monitor had no dead pixels, something I was able to confirm using MonitorsDirect's own monitor testing tools on their website. (Most merchants don't even want to talk about the possibility of dead pixels on LCD monitors, while in contrast MonitorsDirect provides you with the tools to determine if you have any.) My monitor shipped the morning after I ordered it late one night, and it arrived three business days after it shipped -- despite my using free shipping and it being Christmas week. I wouldn't order a monitor from anyone else now.

"I got my monitor 5 days after ordering, arived safely, and the LCD had no dead pixles. Store has a great return policy (not that I tried it) plus you can extend your warenty for a reasonable cost.
Prices where excelent (about 50 below anyone else), but I had to pay tax in Wisconsin even though they are based in californa. They are great about showing shipping costs before checking out, but I was surpized by the tax halfway though checkout, would be nice if they showed it upfront. But don't let this one little thing stop you, this is a great company."
