"Absolutely love this school, from the first person you see when walking in, the teacher and cooking staff everyone is so friendly. Ms Petra my sons teacher is expectional, my son has come on in so many aspects I didn't expect for him to improve on since being at this school. There is a wonderful and noticeable difference between him and his friends that do not attend this school."
"The school is great overall. We recently had a bunch of snow days and cancellations. Rose, the director did a great job communicating with parents as best as possible. I have one suggestion, when the school opens 2 hours late, the school opened at 10:30. It would be very helpful if instead there was a drop off window from 10 to 10:30. This would be two hours delayed from the normal 8-8:30 drop off window. Many of us also take children to local elementary schools that begin at 9:50 on a 2 hour delay and then we have to wait another 40 minutes to drop off at the preschool. Also, many workplaces that are opening late open at 10 am so this extra half hour would really help working parents. I hope you will consider this small change that would help out a lot of families."
"I'm disappointed in the lack of progress reports or communication on how my child is performing. We have been told to ask if there a questions. We have questions every day on how days went but we are left with a three year old reporting how the day went instead of an adult. This is unacceptable to us and we are looking at other schools because of this."
"We have had a lot of turn over on Directors. Ms. Rose is new and doing and fantastic job. If we were to have another turn over on Director I would want our senior teachers, like Ms. Linda to have some input on who to hire. She gets the culture at our school and what we need. "Perfect location for us but primarily the staff is engaged and caring for our daughter and the level of education is more than i could ask for, since my daughter is only 2 1/2yr old. Was very concerned about the teacher turnover but seems to have subsided."

Emails are sent and then retracted for errors. I think the new sign-in and out process is very impersonal and takes away any sense of community feel. I walk in, don't talk to anyone, push buttons on a computer and that's it. And the automatic charges if you're over 10 minutes late is ridiculous. And to be clear, I already pay for the extra time, so I was only really concerned about the lack of consideration this had on any parent."

"I answered this survey based on my 4 year old. Overall I have been very happy with the primary program (aside from one after care incident in the last year+ we have attended, which was resolved to my knowledge). My 4 year old has grown a lot and is very happy, LOVES his teacher. I would have some different survey responses when it comes to my 2 year old. High teacher turnover is a concern. And toddlers recieving schooling from montessori certified/trained teachers is also a concern. Lack of advance communication (i.e. when teacher/staff changes occur) in the toddler program has been a concern (and in the primary as well when it comes to advance notice of staff changes). Again, overall we are very happy with the program and my kids are thriving. I look forward to my toddler getting to primary age and be in a more consistent (hopefully) environment that has proved very well for my 4 year old. I'm so glad my kids attend Cascade Summit and they truly enjoy going to school."
