"Items turned out to be not stocked/backorder. MRO Center failed on all points: 1) They are in violation of common merchant agreements that you only charge the customer's credit card when the order is actually shipped. With things like backorder you can test the card, but back off on putting the charge through. They charged my card immediately. 2) The FTC posts guidelines themselves; If an item is on backorder: the customer shall be notified, and that credit cards should not be charged at this time. I was not notified. MRO Center doesn't follow the rules. Now I'm stuck with a charge on my credit card for something I've called support and and followed up three times to refund my money, but a refund to my card is not to be found. Next course of action is to dispute it with the credit card company. I've already written to Visa, and Mastercard for the merchant agreement violations, and the FTC for violation to their guidelines."

"I ordered what I wanted and completed the process with my credit card. After waiting for over a week I contacted them only to find out that it was not in stock and the could not get it until August 10 2012. Order cancelled by me. They should have stated that it was not in stock but they said nothing. I will not shop with them again."

"Placed order with this company as very few places seemed to carry the part I was looking for at a reasonable price. Used the standard shipping method which was free. After 2 weeks I had still not heard any word on whether the item shipped. Called Customer service and spoke with a very friendly rep named Elizabeth. She researched the order and emailed me back saying it was on back order and had not arrived from their supplier. This was NOT stated on the website at the time of purchase. She did say they expected to ship the next Monday (we spoke on a Friday). I requested they upgrade the shipping for free since I was not informed this order was backorder. She said she would put the request in but could not guarantee this would happen. Sure enough Monday I received an email notification saying the product shipped and it was at my door via 2nd day air on Wednesday.

Overall fairly pleased with how things were handled. Very happy with customer service (very friendly rep) and the support they provided. Turned what wasn't the best situation into one much better. Do wish though they improve their website to improve accuracy of items in stock.

"Awful. Sent two inquiries using their online message center inquiring as to status of order. Heard nothing back. Now nearly a month after the order, I get a notice that the item has shipped (after I no longer need it.)

In addition to poor communication, I would warn anyone using the site that their inventory doesn't appear to be current: That is, you have no way of knowing if the item is in stock when you place your order

"Called MRO Center to make sure the items I wanted to order were in stock (I highly recommend this as some of the items were on backorder so I didn't purchase them). They have very nice & friendly customer service representatives, who confirmed the parts in stock. I placed my order online, and the parts arrived within a week or so. I will order from them again!"

"Placed order 6/22 , credit card charged, received confirmation of order a few minutes later. 7/2 Order has not arrived, link to view order status in confirmation email states no record of order.

Worst shopping experience online to date. I recommend using a reputable online business such as Amazon.com or many others who actually value their customers. obviously MRO does not conduct business in a timely fashion or reputable manner.

"It took about 2 months before they were able to ship my order. I only ordered one item and they had to special order it so I understand the delay. It did however take over a week and a half before they informed me that the item would take a while since it needed to be special ordered. Luckily I didn't need the item right away and it was a great deal compared to everywhere else so I didn't mind waiting for it. "
