"MRO CENTER ARE THIEVES AND LIERS. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM.

On September 19th 2012, I attempted to make a purchase from MRO Center. After going through the check out web page I was not shown that a purchase was made. I did not receive a confirmation number or an email statement reflecting a purchase. I never heard a word from them. I assumed that there was some glitch in the process and left their site thinking the transaction did not go through. I did not receive any product and yet a charge was made to my credit card.

On October 27th, 2012 I received my credit card statement. After reviewing the charges to my account I noticed that I had a charge from MRO Center. At first I did not recognize this transaction. After giving it some thought I remembered going to this web site and attempting to make a purchase there. I did not receive a confirmation number or an email statement reflecting a purchase. I never heard a word from MRO Center. At this point I emailed MRO Center informing them of our situation. On October 31, 2012 I received a response from Elizabeth Mullins indicating she had cancelled my order and assured me that the charges made to the credit card I provided would be refunded. A processing period of 14 business days would be required as all refunds must be approved by their accounting department.

It wasn’t until November 29, 2012 that I received on email with a refund confirmation from Jason Nunn. This is the first document with an invoice number associated with this situation. To this date of January 1, 2013 my credit card account still does not reflect a refund. I have recently checked with the Better Business Bureau about MRO Center and discovered that they have issued them an ‘F’ rating.

"My order came exactly how it was described, it was the lowest price for this item, and I received it in a timely manner. Customer service was incredibly nice and helpful. "I came across MRO Center while I was surfing the web for high quality hand tools. I placed my order for an item about over a week ago and I have received it today. I have found the entire process to be very convenient from "live chat" inquiry to order confirmation. I have had no problem whatsoever communicating with the representative when it comes to checking on my existing order or otherwise. The response is always courteous and prompt. The price is very competitive, yet with free shipping. Given the fact that it's called "economy shipping," the shipment came only a few days after I received words that the item was being shipped; it came with very good packaging, too. To answer your question below: No, MRO Center did not ask me to write this review, but I feel that I owe them a compliment amidst the reviews that are contrary to my experience. "

"Order placed 10/10/2012
Still waiting for my complete order. I ordered 4 items, tools. I have received two of them to date. Those two items came in different shippments. I sent a message through their website a month ago asking for the status of my order, never got a reply. I just sent another today. I tried to call first but there is no answer. I was able to chat with a rep on their site and was told they would check into it and send me a reply. They cut the conversation off with that message. I did not get to ask anthing further. Not good customer service. The prices are cheaper than anywhere else I could find but if it takes 2+ months to receive an order it's just not worth it. I will stick with Amazon with my next order. Live and learn. Still hope someone updates me on my order. Or at least gives me a refund for what I have not received. I did pay when I placed it!!! I Guess I need to contact my CC company to dispute the charges.

The rep that I was chatting with online never got back with me... I did call again a couple days ago and was able to get an answer. The customer rep help me get my order resloved. One item was instock but was never shipped. The last item on my order was on back order until March of next year. They should have called about this... I mean I paid for it two months ago!! Anyways, Thanks Donna for getting my order resolved. As I said, this site does have the best pricing but IMO it's not worth the wait. I'll just shop AMAZON next time.

On 01/04/2013 After calling back to check the status of my refund I was informed that because of the time laps they have to send me out a refund check. On the 10th of this month it will have been 3 months since the charges...

Really? I have to keep calling them to try to get my money back??

All I can say to those of you giving the 5 star feedback must be MRO or you were just plain lucky to get what you paid for...

"They had what I needed, and the price was good, but it took a month to receive. They did not reply to my email regarding the status of my order, and the order was never updated online leaving me to wonder if it would EVER arive. Also, they charged my card right when I placed the order...not when the order shipped out. Don't order from this place if you need your item in a timely manner."

"They charged my credit card but its been over two weeks and they still have not shipped my order. They have not responded to emails inquiring on the situation. Spend a little more and order from a website that is reputable. I had the same experience with Comet Supply. Don't shop there either. I'll be shopping on Amazon with sellers that have good ratings for now on. "

"June 28- I ordered a Estwing camping axe from MRO and paid with credit card.
July 6- I inquired as to the status of the order and was informed that it would ship in 2 to 3 weeks, as it was on back order.
July 21- I cancelled my order and ask for a refund.
August 17- I again ask for my refund.
August 20- My payment was finally credited back to my credit card account.
I don't think they should charge my credit card until they actually ship the order.
I was not pleased with my order experience with MRO.
