"I have had the exact same experience as all the most recent posts. I purchased a $850 sink over the phone (which was miraculously answered the first time I called them just to make sure they were a legitimate company) and received it on the West Coast within 10 days, but the sink arrived broken!

I have called them every day now since June 10th and have only received the same voice mail everyone else is receiving. I even leave messages acting like I want to make a very large purchase and no one ever calls me back. I have attempted to email every link listed on their website and no one responds.

Interesting enough, Dacorisland.com and a few other websites look exactly like luxuryhomeoutlet.com, have the exact same bizarra damage shipping/return policys, and are all located in the Brooklyn, New York area.

This company is a scam and preys on people looking for a good deal online. I filed the damage claim with UPS and they are unable to get a hold of anyone at the company.

I have disputed all charges with my credit card company and expect to get full reimbursement, but someone needs to do something quickly about this sad rip off scam of a company that is stealing from unsuspecting customers.

My broken sink story is sadly very much like other broken sink stories you can read on this review website.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY THEY ARE NOT HONEST AND NEED TO BE SHUTDOWN!!!

"What a mistake! Why oh why did I not do a review of this seller before hand! I deal with online sales every day as a contractor but this one is the worst I have ever encountered. I received part of my order and was told that part of it was 5 weeks back ordered. 5 weeks go by and now whenever I call I get a message that they are closed. No response to emails or from messages left on their answering machine. It has now been 10 weeks. Fortunately, my brother is on the police force in Brooklyn where this place is located. He will be visiting them shortly."

"This was terrible! We ordered a sink and it came broken so we promptly called them for a return/exchange. They gave us the run-around for two months asking for photo evidence and never returning our calls or making progress on the credit. Eventually they had UPS pick up the broken one, but two months later we are still fighting with them to get us a credit for it."

"Ordered an "in stock" pot spout over two months ago and have yet to receive it and/ or any word on what is happening. After calling and being put on hold over and over again (for what amounted to over an hour of my time) a very unprofessional (and seemingly illiterate) customer service rep assured me my order was to be shipped the following day. It has been a week since that call and still no shipping notice- still no pot spout. I have obviously tried calling again and just keep being put on hold for 20-30 minute stretches. Meanwhile our renovation stands seriously delayed. I order a lot online and this experience has been hands down the absolute worst. Take your business elsewhere- this company does not deserve it."

"Absolutely the Worst buying experience over the internet and personally. Order was placed on 4/17/13 and promised it would ship in 3-4days, took 4weeks to ship. Customer Service is very unhelpful, i spoke with someone and was promised on 3 separate occassions that it was being checked on and someone would contact me immediately to let me know what was going on. I still have not heard from anyone there, just an automated message saying my item shipped 4weeks later. Then the message isn't even correct as i received the message on 5/6 that my item was shipping that day, then i got a message on 5/8 that it actually shipped. Horrible. "

"This is an unscrupulous, rip-off company. I purchased $660 worth of sinks and plumbing accessories and will never see them or the return of my money. I am a dope for believing their practiced lies. They even stooped so low as to claim that the company closed 10 days for Passover, thus making my order late, and getting me past the paypal dispute date. They are shown on Amazon as an external seller, so I will do what I can to see that Amazon drops them. Do not give away your money to these thieves! Worst company I have ever had the displeasure to do business with--and they don't even care--laughing their way to the bank. If it were possible to give no stars I would. They don't even deserve one star out of five."

"False advertising and breach of contract. Bought item on their website. Received email to get in touch with them. Impossible to contact. When finally able to reach they said the price was 25 percent higher than when I bought it, which is a breach of contract. Tried to talk to a manager, but not available and also did not call back.
Never buy anything at this place !!!

"Incredibly poor service. It's been 4 weeks since placing my order and now they're telling me it still won't ship for another 5 days. The order status indicates it was shipping 3 weeks ago. Customer service always tells you they will get back to you, but never do. Eventually had to cancel my order and go with someone who actually cares.

Prices are cheap but unless you have no timeframe for your need I would NOT recommend Luxury Home Outlet for any purchase.

"I am a General Contractor in CA. the Homeowner referred us to the site. She liked a vanity and sink. The price seamed reasonable enough so we ordered it. There were issues ordering because the one online doesn't exist anymore. Then there were additional charges for the similar one.

I was told it could take up to 8 weeks for delivery ( i could have made the thing locally). I have tried to call several times to get a status update. It seem like it's the same girl that answers every line? I was on hold today for 35 minutes just to find out that the warehouse screwed up the order and it was corrected by LHO but it will take another month for us to receive the vanity.

There were no calls from them to let us know what was going on. Then they act like it's no big deal. I have left several messages for the Supervisor "Moe" (so it must be Larry & Curley running the warehouse)and of course no respone.

I WOULD NEVER ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE AGAIN! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR CREDIT CARD IN A HURRY AND THWE GOOD LUCK ON GETTING YOUR MERCH. IN ALL OF MY YEARS AS A CONTRACTOR, THEY ARE THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND ORDER LOCALLY!!!

"I wish I had researched LHO before I purchased.
Online purchase of two toilet roll holders March 7th, 2013. Paypal instant money transfer happened at checkout but I never got a an e-receipt from the store. 4 weeks later, no merchandise. Contacted company regarding the order and they are requesting a copy of the receipt which I never got. I told them this by e-mail had haven't heard back. I have asked for a a refund so I can purchase elsewhere. My experience seems consistent with other customers.

"Never,never,never again! Web availability stated "In Stock" "Ships in 1 to 2 days". A month and 6 phone calls later, no sink and no valid status. They partially shipped the order and reused the same UPS tracking number to try to show that the sink was also shipped in a status update. Now they're closed for a week, according to their customer service phone message and my schedule is busted. Will have to try to find another sink locally (could have gotten this same sink from another vendor if LHO had told the truth about the lead time) and I'll have to work with the credit card company to get my money back since they charged the full amount to my card back in Feb. Learn from my mistake!!!"

"We seem to have had a similar experience to many of the other reviewers here. It's interesting that one of the positive reviewers accuses all of the negative reviewers of being a single troll with the goal of destroying the company (really??). I thought that reviewer might work for the company!

We were in the process of getting new countertops, and had already put a down payment on them, so we were on a timeframe. We found a sink we really liked, and the only place we could find it *in stock* was LHO. The online status was stated as being 'in stock', but when I called subsequent to placing the order to get a more definite time frame, I was told that the sink was actually back-ordered and would not arrive at the facility for two more weeks (and probably would have been much longer than that). I called to cancel the order because we needed the sink sooner than that. After being placed on hold for a long time (so that the customer service agent could contact someone else to see if the order COULD be cancelled), I was told that the order would be cancelled and we would be refunded the money.

Well, two and a half weeks later the money had still not appeared back in our Paypal account (we had been charged the full amount, of course). I looked online to find the company phone number again and I found some very concerning reviews. I called the company and after being placed on hold several times I got through to someone. I told the customer service agent that if I didn't see the refund go through within 48 hours I was contacting my local FBI fraud department and the BBB. Sure as sh*t, the refund appeared IMMEDIATELY after that call. Wow, so easy, right? The refund should have appeared two and a half weeks ago! If I hadn't called I'm fairly certain it never would have appeared.

I consider us lucky given what it seems some people had to go through to get their money back. Sure, I bet some people receive what they ordered, but the experience of many people seems to be the opposite. Consumers should use caution when purchasing through this company.

*By the way...I gave five stars for low prices because yeah, they were low, but of course that doesn't matter if you never receive the product!

"Odd for me, I didn't check here first. Shopping for some Hansgrohe spray heads I found them here at LHO cheaper than the dozen other places I had been ordering fixtures for a shower rehab.
Things went well at the beginning as I placed an online order for two of #0068890. They showed them on hand, shipped quickly, package arrived in a few days. While waiting, I looked here and found the negatives. I thought, maybe I'll beat the odds; my order was progressing well. When I opened the box I discovered a simple but important mistake. They had invoiced correctly the 0068890 but the order-packers had misread it and filled the order with two (0066890 or similar) Spray bars that I didn't need.
No Biggie, right? Well, it didn't get better. Phone calls didn't fix it. They wouldn't help except to say that I could order and pay for another separate order (I eventually agreed) which I could do on the phone...and they would certainly refund the first order, but only after I jumped thru the following hoops:
1. email for an RMA and provide pics of items rec'd.
2. after (IF) I got the RMA from them,
3. return said items along with the RMA.
4. make all this happen within 12 days
5. keep in mind that I don't control their process here.
6. if they rec'd the items in good order, they would refund my money on the first order.

Well, it gets worse.
A. the re-order wasn't filled as they claimed to now be out.
B. I pointed out that their inventory would be off because of my order, would they please check the shelf?
C. They claim they did this and affirmed no stock.
D. This would imply that they didn't mis-pick mine but were already out of stock and just grabbed another item on purpose? I don't know.
E.The subbed item is priced about the same. Again, I don't know.
F. I cancelled the reorder,and pursued the RMA
G. I jumped thru hoop 1 above. Hoop 2 is up to them.
H. they never responded with an RMA
I. of course, the 12 days has now expired.
J. I've blown it off and replaced the sprayers from another source.
K. I will next try to sell the other items on eBay. I could possibly recoup my funds.
It was not a good experience. I will not trade there again.

"BEWARE of this merchant! only at the end of the transaction do you learn that there is a processing fee that they tack on; $19.95 in my case. Original order placed 12/8/12 1st item shipped no problem, it is now 2/20/13 and am still getting the runaround on my 2nd item. Total spend $711.56; total frustration and time spent on the phone with them promising "7 - 10 more days" totally negates savings. REFUND MY MONEY AND LET ME GO TO A REPUTIBLE BUSINESS!!!!!
UPDATE 4/15/13: Disputed with AmEx; they are now claiming they shipped the order complete! 2 boxes, one tracking number. HELP, I'm In hell!
UPDATE 5/13/13: STILL fighting them! I am working with credit card company to get money back. LHO sent a proof of delivery for the sink and says that BOTH items were sent. I have had to now prove that teh 25 pounds was for the sink only! Have spent several hours trying to get my money back - DEFINATELY NOT WORTH THE $30 I WAS TRYING TO SAVE! STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!
