Horrible! R.I.P. off company!

"Experience was unbelievable! I bought two items itotal $80. Returned one ($35) ended up costing me almost $76! Return because it didn’t fit cost $15.98. Item cost $35. They got the item and I got $10 for the $35 pants return . Then I seen where I got charged for a catalog book I never ordered or got. It was returned apparently and I got charged $7.99 for it and didn’t see it and $35 for the return of the catalog. I ended up paying over $70 for a pair of pants that was only $45 to begin with. This company WILL rip you off! I think
I’m still reporting to the BBB because they owe me money for the catalog I didn’t order and the $35 return for it and I NEVER set eyes on it!
Don’t order from them unless you know it will fit. And don’t get their credit card! Another rip off!!!
I will NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE! They need to be reported by everyone who’s had a issue!!!!

What a SCUM CON ARTISTS

"Today 02/12/2019 received a catalog. Page 34, item C MVP Jeans advertised at $44.99. Went online to buy it, all of a sudden, now price is $119.99!!! Called customer service, they said it's miss print!!! Spoke to supervisor- A: we will not honor that price.
Very much feel like back in the day - CRAZY EDDY!

HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!

"I sent a return for well over $100 in merchandise and I received a ‘return processed and credit issued’ email and kept checking PayPal for this credit. It never happened. I called King Size for the second time and they put me on hold for over 20 minutes and I ultimately just hung up and now I’m letting PayPal fight for my money.
I had a bad feeling about this company from the start when I couldn’t log in to their website after several attempts and order numbers in hand.
Never again!
Also, their quality of clothing was the WORST- so no big loss; except of course for the money they owe me.
Stay far,2 asww far away from KING SIZE!

NEVER AGAIN

"Very gamey company. I could not cancel an order made 1 hour prior, so I will immediately return the item. They roll the dice and feel like most customers will avoid the hassle of returning an item. KingSize has the worst policies of ANY store I have EVER dealt with.
They should change the name of the "Customer Service" department to "Bend them Over". I will never buy again.

TERRIBLE

"I am usually not one to complain, and most definitely not online for the world to see as I'm usually a very understanding person. However, after my last experience with KingSize Direct Customer Service, I feel as if I must warn the public.

I ordered two Christmas gifts for my husband on October 25th. Only ONE of the shirts ever arrived, although it states both were shipped. Immediately following Christmas, and finding out the shirt was sized way too small, I proceeded to return the one shirt I received and process a refund for the shirt that never arrived. While doing the return online, there was no mention of the VERY STRICT 60 day return policy (Or the fact that there is absolutely NO consideration for the holidays! ), and that returning the item & requesting a refund 63 days after purchase (63 days ONLY because items were purchased as gifts FOR THE HOLIDAY!) is absolutely not accepted. Upon receiving the shirt back from KingSize Direct, I called customer service. I was very rudely told by not one, but THREE, people (yes, ALL were very rude) that KINGSIZE DIRECT DOES NOT CARE when or why you ordered something, holiday or not, and that they absolutely CAN NOT help you in ANY WAY... even if I would have called on the 61st day.

I do most of my shopping online from various different companies. I have NEVER encountered such rude and terrible customer service. I have also never dealt with a company that does not take holiday shopping into consideration. I also can't believe processing this return was such a big deal. It probably cost more in manpower & materials to accept the return, completely repackage it, print a new invoice with a reason for the returned shirt (which did NOT match the actual reason, by the way), and then add the cost of the actual shipping. UNBELIEVABLE!!! I WILL NEVER SHOP AT KingSize Direct, or it's affiliate companies, EVER AGAIN!!!

What a disappointment !Terrible customer service!

"I purchased Christmas gifts in September (trying to start early) and when the packages arrived, I checked the order number on the package and the invoice as each package arrived (yes, several items shipped separately). I did NOT open packages and check the tags inside the garments..... Consequently, when the gifts were open at Christmas, the 60 day return / exchange policy has expired and we found out that the item in the package was the incorrect size. I did not want a refund, I just wanted the item that I ordered. Through email and then phone I spoke with customer service who seemingly read from the same script, "we are sorry, but it is a 60 day return / exchange policy and there is nothing we can do". I sent a picture of the tag inside the garment as well. It has never been used. They would not even consider the exchange. Yes, they do have a policy, and because of that, I could have looked at each tag of each item I purchased. However, how sad that they do not look at the circumstances of the order! I will never purchase from this company again. Very, very poor customer support"

Horrible return policy

"Dont buy from them as gifts for anyone as if the size or style is wrong, their return/exchange policy is horrible. If you return something for a gift card they charge you $7.50 and will not send it to you but have to send it to the person who purchased the gift. Customer service cant do "anything" about it because the return policy should have been read completely before purchasing..."

Incredibly frustrating

"I live in a small town and the closest big and tall store is about 80 miles away. I can go to a couple places 120 miles in the other direction to shop, as well, but what with the internet existing I figured that wasn't necessary. Big and Tall is becoming an online only sort of thing, anyway, like other specialty clothing brick and mortar places just don't bother to carry it (or they carry a tiny selection) so ordering online is becoming a necessity for guys like myself that are too big for regular clothing sections anymore.

Last week I got a call for a job interview, they told me to wear "business casual" of which I have zero clothes that would work. I shopped around and found a nice looking sports coat on KingSize and, having purchased a coat from them last year, thought that it would be perfect. All they had to do was get the clothes to me 7 days after I placed my order. I paid for the express shipping, and watched the tracking on it as it sat in their warehouse for four days. I contacted customer service expecting an apology or a discount or something but I instead got a lie about what day they shipped it in an automated response that took over 24 hours to get back to me (I mean, I can read a tracking invoice, I know when it says they sent pre-shipping info it doesn't mean it left their warehouse that day).

I know that sites like this are mostly to let customers vent and let of steam, so I probably would have let it go except for in reviewing their exchanges and returns section I noticed they would charge me for the original shipping ($24) and the return shipping ($7.50). So best case scenario I'm out about 32 dollars and I get nothing to show for it. Worst case, as apparently happened to another reviewer on this site, they only refund me based on the original price and not the sale price and I'm out over a hundred dollars. This is no way to run a business. So that annoyed me, reading other negative reviews (unfortunately after I placed my order) about them made me more angry, and then I was trying to find their site on google and typed their name into the search bar and noticed they have put fake reviews for themselves in their ads that come up first (they make it look like they have 4.8 out of five stars but it is just make believe because those 'reviews' don't correlate to any site or even anything on their own site that I could find), which infuriated me.

I hope someone in charge of marketing or something at the company reads these reviews. And if they are I want to say just be honest, you idiots. If someone has a problem talk to them or provide some sort of customer service to try to resolve it. Clothing is not optional and in a few years big and tall clothes will probably only be available online. You could have a business that gives a crap that your customers are happy, or you can run it into the ground by **** everyone off.

"King size direct obviously uses cheap thread to put together their clothes...then when the stiches ce undone they dont want to warrenty their wares...shody bussiness... SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE BECAUSE THIS BUSSINESS IS A SCAM...THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THERE CUSTOMERs AT ALL"

False advertising - Buyer beware!!

"I went to the kingsizedirect.com website to purchase some shirts on Nov 08, 2018. The website banner stated "BLACK FRIDAY STARTS EARLY\50% OFF SITEWIDE\EXTRA 30% OFF CLEARANCE\CODE:
KSBFRIDAY18." I went to the CLEARANCE section and selected 5 items (4 polo shirts and some tanks) and placed them into my shopping cart. I went to checkout and my shopping cart only gave me the 50% discount on the polo shirts - NOT the 80% I was expecting (50% OFF SITEWIDE\EXTRA 30% OFF CLEARANCE). I called customer service and she verified that the polo shirts were in the clearance section - she said "they are the first item, aren't they?" I said YES. She said she could not give me the extra 30%. I spoke with her boss, and his boss - all saying the same. I filed a BBB complaint against the parent company, FullBeauty LP in Indianapolis, IN, and their response to the BBB was the polo shirts were not a clearance item. That may be true, but they were listed in the CLEARANCE section so they needed to honor the 80% discount. Needless to say, I did not purchase the shirts and they have lost a customer for life.
