A great seamless and accommodative service

"I'm from India and getting laptop customizations is still not a thing here so I decided to buy the laptop from US and get it shipped here and I was really nervous about the whole ordeal. Talking with HIDevolution staff including ted and Kevin, helped me to feel secure about the purchase. Replies were fast, all questions were answered and they accommodated every request I had. The service and processing time was way quicker than I had imagined. Delivery was within 5 days of shipping and product I received was in top notch condition. I am very happy with the service provided. I will also suggest people to get their Top tuning service, max was really cordial and took me through all the changes and optimizations that he did on the laptop. It was a great experience and I will definitely stick with HID for all my future pc needs. Thanks guys!! "

"Hope you are well. I wanted to give you a feedback on my experience with HIDevolution overall and specifics regarding my interaction with your team before, during and after the purchase as well as the TOP package.

Honestly at the start I was a bit sceptical because the reviews on Trustpilot were mixed up between really good and extremely bad. But talking to your team all those worries were totally blown away.

I had most of my interaction with Max. He was very helpful throughout the stages from the selection process of the laptop, clarifying each point and elaborating the benefits added from each option in a way that is both decent and not pushy. He explained it perfectly and had an answer to all the questions I had and took the time to really go through it with me .

During the build phase he was attentive and updated me regularly (which I highly appreciated) and ensured that everything is progressing in the right direction.


Once I received the laptop he spent a good deal of time with me on the TOP package which I have to say is very impressive. Originally I was purchasing an expensive piece of hardware and wanted to make sure that things are done properly, also I wanted to give feedback to the gaming community that I belong to here in UAE as many of them wondered how good is it . But after seeing it I am now convinced it is a necessity not a luxury. The performance is improved even more than i expected and the applications run way smoother.

Understanding Customer Support and Excellent Final Product

"Admittedly, I was a very high maintenance customer. I made quite a few changes to my order and called customer support multiple times about the urgency of the delivery. Nevertheless, despite the two mishaps (firstly, providing the wrong delivery date multiple times and secondly, the partial refund which was cancelled and has now since been fixed), the item still arrived in good time and I am very pleased with the product I received.

Good Job

"*UPDATE: Aug 5, 2020 - The laptop I had ordered came in yesterday while I was out. I must say I am impressed.

From an initial bad experience due to miscommunication (read below) the company HIDEvolution was able to turn all that around with excellent customer service, active engagement, quick delivery of the finished product and a super-good laptop - and they waived the shipping charge. I am very, very happy with their service and with the laptop I have received.

I am already thinking about what to order next. ;)

*UPDATE: July 21, 2020 - Spoke with Ted who informed me that some units had arrived. Unfortunately, because I wasn't expecting delivery until August, I have now spent the money on the debit card. I get paid again in August, we'll see how that goes at that time.

Placed an order on June 11, 2020 and as of today, July 21, 2020. Production status is still listed as "Pre-production." Called customer service and they said it was the fault of the manufacturer. Because of the delay, I requested a refund of the "expedited" shipping charge, but they refused. I then requested an upgrade from a 16 gig memory to 32 gig or an upgrade to a 256 gig storage to 512 gig, but they refused that also.

Custom Built ASUS TUF Gaming A17

"I'm not a "gamer" but I wanted a first-rate laptop with all the features for CAD and video conferencing. HIDevolution provided everything they promised. They even re-installed Windows without the bloatware and with all the latest updates. It took only 15 minutes to complete the registration process and start using the computer. HID responded to my inquiries about ETA, and the FedEx delivery from CA to TX only took two days. They were great to work with."

Slow service

"I ordered my laptop which was showing as in stock. A few days later i got an email saying the laptop was on its way to their facility. . .
Mind you this is for a $4000+ laptop. I run on a tight schedule and they've eluded providing me with an accurate/detailed timeline. . .
The laptop was supposed to ship out on Monday last week.
7 Days later I still haven't received a confirmation of shipment or delivery date.

I've read great reviews which is why i choose this company. So far it's been a let down.
I really hope the laptop they deliver is in pristine working condition..

Edit: Updating to 3 stars as Kevin and Ted were in communications with me. The laptop arrived and is in good working condition. Not updating to 4 stars or more because I strongly disagree with businesses saying they have something in stock when it's not. Overall I would order from this place again but only after I've given them a call.

Full month wasted

"Summary: I ordered gaming laptop with a custom SSD addition, waited a full month for processing, then found out they accidentally oversold it so the laptop was not available.

Story: I ordered my laptop ($2500+) in late June after reading from HIDevolution's website that custom builds typically take 7-12 business days to process before shipping. I called on a Monday after roughly 7 business for a status update. I was told that it would ship by the end of the following week putting it at 17 business days which I was ok with due to covid delays. I didn't get a shipment notification so I called back on Monday following those 17 business days. I was told it would be shipped by the next day for sure. I didn't get a notification so I tried Support Live Chat on Wednesday. A manager entered the chat and told me they accidentally oversold the model so it wasn't available. He offered the same model with an upgraded processor for the same price ($100 discount) but it wouldn't be available for another full month and then expedited processing/shipping after that. How could I believe that when everything to date was untrue? I asked for an addition $200 off as incentive to stick with them since I would essentially be receiving this 2 months after my initial time frame but he was unable to oblige or come half way. I then cancelled my order and ordered from Amazon.

Conclusion: This lack of communication throughout the process was unacceptable. I was not thrilled with it taking more than 7-12 business days to process but I was ok with it due to covid. The fact that they kept on relaying new shipping dates to me and then ultimately did not have it in stock was pretty terrible service. I was told that they didn't realize they oversold it until they attempted to work on it so they need to fix their internal communication to prevent issues like this. I wasted a full month just waiting while my current setup is down. I feel like they really didn't need my business - if they wanted to keep it then they could have offered a little more discount incentive like I mentioned above. I do not plan on ordering from them ever again.

The King of Gaming Computers

"Purchased my new Raider laptop 2 about months ago and it arrived today. 07/21/2020 Super excited!! Ever since my Husband purchased his first MSI laptop in 2014 which was a GT70 2pc Dominator, he had passed it onto me to play my own pc games. I absolutely loved his laptop and loved how well it played my Sims 4 game. He talked me into Upgrading the GE66 Raider. I am completely amazed at how fast this computer is. The boot up time was super fast. I downloaded some 4k wallpapers and can not believe the screens display. My games load very quickly in almost a blink of an eye. They keyboard is so refreshing and crazy colorful. The amount of customizations that can be done with the RBG per LED keyboard makes the perfect touch that lets me know its personalized for me. The brightness of the LEDs is amazing as well, very rich color and detail. The laptop is very light and seems to be very convenient for mobilizing. Thin profile that makes a huge difference in personal space when using. I can not wait to be able to start putting it up to the test for some real challenging games. We are now a MSI family with 4 Msi computers in our house. The company that I purchased this computer through was very helpful whenever I would ask how long till the computer arrives. I may have asked about 4 times but they were on top of their game and responded very quickly and also hopeful on when they shipments were coming. The price is definitely worth it. The only thing I was a little sad about with it is that the numeric key pad isn't on this model. But I can see why. The keys are so much better being bigger! It will grow on me and I wont miss it, trust me :). Also the touch pad is a really nice upgrade with it being completely one size and no separate section for the right and left click. Very sleek looking laptop. Screams "Challenge Me" with all of the upgrades it has. MSI is most definitely Next Level of Gaming."

Delayed order but great CEO

"HIDevolution reputation is superb and all my friends recommend to buy a laptop from them , but unfortunately I faced an initial bad experience with them .


I have bought a laptop from them under order # 100120053 . It was placed on 20 JUN 2020 . 


The day I placed the order I was confirmed the laptop I bought was IN Stock , then i contacted customer service to get the date of shipping and i was told it will be shipped on 07 JUL 2020 . 


I was waiting all those days to see my order status to be changed from " payment review completed " to any other status that show any progress done to my laptop but no change done till current date , then i had to contact them again to see if there is any problem and unfortunately i found that the laptop ran out of stock and they told me next estimated date of restock on 16 JUL 2020 . 

Then I had to contact the CEO himself to solve the issue and he was a great man . He offered me some discount and he was following up my order himself everyday to make sure all work progress on the right track .

In Conclusion, you may face some difficulties rarely with them but with their CEO and Owner ( Ted Kim ) , I am sure you will be happy to deal with them and honestly their work in modifications and specially cooling is amazing .

"When making significant purchases, I always do my research. In this case I had narrowed my laptop choice to two different models but was having difficulty deciding between the two. Great Customer Experience

"This is my first time purchasing a laptop that is well over $ 2,500.00 and to do so online as well. I was really hesitant at first and a lot of my friends are discouraging my because mainly I'm not residing in the US and it might get troublesome if at some point there would be a problem with shipping and import taxes.

I can proudly say the customer experience I had with several of HIDevolution's staff is amazing. They cleared all my doubts. Everything written on their website is what you get and very informative at that, Kudos! Even queries about import taxes and shipping estimates were very clear before the time of my purchase.

I had to wait a few weeks to be informed that my laptop arrived in their shop, so the waiting game is really with the manufacturer and not from HIDevolution themselves. It only took 5 days to be exact, 1-2 days for customizing the laptop and testing then 3 days for the international shipping. This was not even express you guys! Kudos once again!

Now comes the product itself, so I chose an Alienware 17 inches laptop with specs that some PC enthusiasts would say "midrange" which is very fine by me. Laptop arrived in very good condition, they even printed my short birthday message to my wife which was one of my requests. There was no issue whatsoever with the laptop and it has the same specs as I chose. Thank you so much!

I have already, and will continue to recommend HIDevolution to my friends for any laptop purchases, most especially for gamers - in the future. In case I'd be upgrading my wife's laptop, 100% sure I'll order from HIDevolution again.

Great Customer Service

"I recently ordered a custom Razer Blade 15 Advanced RTX 2080/4K OLED Edition (2020) In which I ordered it to have 64GB of Premium RAM and a 4TB SSD Storage along with other Custom Options. I ordered this Laptop primarily for work as a Video Editor and Photographer and then occasional games when unwinding. It was a Pre Order so i figured I was going to have to wait a few weeks to a month. Since I made the order in the middle of May and the Laptop would become available in June but no specific date. So I waited until the first week of June to message Customer Support to ask about the progress. That was when I got a reply a day later saying they are waiting for the RAM to arrive so they can install it along with the other ordered changes. They also said they were willing to instead install Standard 64GB that they had available at the time if I wanted to get the Laptop sooner. I replied saying that I didn't mind waiting for the Premium. After that, they kept me informed of the progress and answered any questions I had quickly. The Customer Service was great and showed that they care for their Customers and are very informal. The Laptop is now shipped and will be arriving tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing what this thing can do thanks to the skilled and helpful crew of HIDevolution."

Just save your money.

"I ordered a gx502 from Asus after 2 months of use the motherboard burnt out. After 2 months they got the laptop back to me and it was unusable for which I purchased it would just drop frames constantly. After the tech decided it needed to go back again after having it for a few days from the first repair they decided it needed another motherboard. Here I am 6 months of owning it warranty half over and only 2 months of use and still waiting for it to be fixed. I use it for college as I had stated many times in the phone calls and emails. I was told of a return they would do but the owner said the gentleman wasn’t authorized but will give me 2 day shipping for “sympathizing” with my stituation and would not allow any type of return (as I had asked about the first time this happend) or solution to this problem. I had to buy a different laptop just for college now. Everything is all nice till they get your money then you are nothing. *update* Donald and Vivian is are great and one of the only reasons it got resolved issue wise. I still had to go through all this with the owner and still detest dealing with him. If you do decide to order I suggest keeping it between you and Donald and contacting him only. "
