Ordering an MSI GE66 laptop from HIDevolution!

"I came across HIDevolution website by chance while looking for a gaming laptop online. It was a happy coincidence! I received their support right from placing my order until I received my laptop (latest MSI GE66). Special thanks to Ted who accompanied me throughout this adventure! Not only he provided a discount on the shipping fees, he also followed up with DHL when my order got delayed in transit ( since it was destined to Central African Republic). I really appreciated their packaging quality to ensure a safe delivery of such an expensive device ( over 4000 USD worth) to such a remote country. Excellent communication with customers to make placing my first international order a smooth experience. I will be definitely a returning customer. Great job HIDevolution! :)"

Have bought 2 systems through HIDEvolution, received 5 star service each time!

"I've bought two systems from HIDEvolution, and both times they have been excellent to work with. The pricing and service has always been fair considering the high-touch nature of what they do. Both laptops have exceeded my expectations and their customer service and tech support has been excellent to work with the few times I've needed it. I'm glad to know if I need system maintenance or cleaning, I can send them my PC and they will take great care of it. Buying a system from HIDEvolution is a bit like buying art - you're making an investment in something that should last for a long time.

The one thing I recommend to anyone looking to buy from HIDEvolution is - be patient. It's not an overnight process. Let them benchmark and burn-in your system, the QA Checks are totally worth it so you don't get a bum computer. It may take a few weeks to a month, maybe a little more (depending on chip shortages and back orders and if the system you want is even released to market yet) to get your PC in your hands, but it will be worth the wait, I promise.

If you want the best, buy from HIDEvolution.

Great support

"I bought an MSI laptop last November that was souped up by HIDevolution and sold by Newegg. After about 7 months it started acting up. Dealing with MSI online tech support didn’t resolve the issue and they asked me to send it to their repair center so they could look at it. Well, after 3 1/2 weeks they contacted me to say the problem was a non OEM (original equipment of manufacturer) so that MSI couldn’t do anything for me. The problem was an SSD that HIDEVOLUTION had installed. So I contacted HIDEVOLUTION and they were bending over backward to help. They said give us the RMA number from MSI and we’ll have them ship it directly to us. Too late, MSI Had already shipped it back to me. HIDEVOLUTIONs idea was we’ll send you two new SSDs and you install them and ship the old ones back. (All postage paid by them) so that’s what we did. Well, laptop still wasn’t working quite right, so I contacted HIDEVOLUTION again (Gina was quite helpful) and they gave me an RMA number and I shipped it to them to “tune up”. There again, postage paid by HIDEVOLUTION. So after 13 calendar days, the laptop was back in my hands and working great. So my thanks to HIDEVOLUTION for their great support and especially to Gina, for being my point of contact. "

"I waited 3 months for my dragon tiamat i decided to talk to them today live chat but the costumer service Service only told me that my order might be discontinued, all he told me is to cancel my last order and order the new version. They dont even give me priority for the new version, they want me to wait again for months??? All in all the service is bad they dont care about the customer. "

Best I ever owned!

"This is what I got....EVOC High Performance Systems P750TM-R - 15.6" FHD 144Hz / QFHD 60Hz - i7-9700K - RTX 2070 and it is by far the best computer/laptop I will ever own. The experience from the first time I talked to Donald to the day it arrived at my door was first rate and worthy of the 5 star rating. They kept me informed of the process and what was happening with updates. They answered my questions when I had them during that process.
To date I have had no issues with this machine and I really do not expect any..... it is built!

Gaming Laptops - Ted was great, but not their support...

"Final Update: 02/26/2021 The team did get the RAM sent out yesterday and it arrived this morning. Ted stepped in at the end (who has always been wonderful to deal with) and ensured that things were resolved and he also provided us a generous gift. At this time my overall experience, because of their support, remains as three stars - though in the end my issue was fully resolved. It just took longer than desired.

Update: 02/25/2021 one of the laptops arrived with 64Gb of RAM DOA. I've spent months back and forth with their support, sometimes weeks between exchanges (initially some delay on my side) identifying the problem. Once it was identified I shipped the memory back and a month after they've received it (01/27/2021), promised overnight shipping AFTER I followed up, again (02/05/2021) I still do not have the memory. The sales team was great... their support is terrible. Given the amount of money we spent and the time that has gone into getting a single memory stick replaced I can't recommend them and will not return for our next purchase.

Ted worked with me as I ordered a pair of gaming laptops that totaled around $11k. He was great in assisting with the configuration, providing updates, and refunding the cost of unused services. I will definitely work with them again in the future.

Outstanding Service

"I wanted to provide you some feedback for my Window’s Tweak session with Max that I purchased from HIDevolution. In short, it was outstanding! I am an IT Professional with four decades of experience, and even I was impressed. I heard about the service from a fellow IT Professional that used it for her customers, and I decided to give it a try based on her recommendation.

The engineer, Max, is highly skilled, relatable and very efficient. He thoroughly installed the group policies and registry tweaks necessary to git rid of bloatware, disable data collection and privacy intrusions, install anti-virus and create a restore image. In addition, he installed a better search function, a uninstall utility that actually works and an image creator — just to name a few of the improvements I noticed. The session was easy to initiate and the workflow was smooth and enjoyable. It took about two hours.

My system performance improved markedly — boot time went from about a minute and a half to under 30 seconds. Prior to the cleanup, I was concerned that my laptop would not perform adequately for my virtual reality system. It was struggling to perform on Beat Saber, Elvin Archer and Elite Dangerous(!!!). After the tweaks, they work perfectly. This was a significant improvement that is repeatable, as he left me with a clean image that allows me to restore my laptop should that become necessary in the future.

Thank you Max for the fantastic service and expertise, and thank you HIDevolution for offering the tweak session — it was well worth it to me!

Very Pleased

"This was my third experience purchasing an MSI laptop, my first with HIDEvolution.com. I had questions - their rep on chat answered them in such a way that it gave me confidence in spending $4200 on a workstation with HIDEvolution. They gave me a date that they said it would be shipped - and I believe that they did better than a week earlier (and it was over the holidays). I was impressed with the level of customization that they offered and the price was very competitive. While waiting I had questions and they were quick to respond. I have had this unit for about a week now and am very impressed with its performance. If you asked me right now if I would purchase it again from HIDEvolution I would say absolutely."

Second time buyer, couldn't be happier

"I bought two laptops from HIDevolution and was happy with the products. I was especially happy with the service I received on my second purchase. Because of a mistake I made on the shipping address, the laptop was sent to a different address. Ted personally drove down to the Fedex warehouse where it was being held at, and had it shipped to the correct address. You don't see that happen very often these days. They ship internationally which is important for me.

Garbage customer service

"Computer worked fine until the SSD they installed failed, and they tried to replace it. First called them 19th November,which we figured out the issue, but then had to call them everyday till I finally got the shipping info to send my SSD in on the 1st of December. They got it Friday 5th and didn't ship the new SSD back till December 11th. No repairs needed, just slap a new SSD in a box and ship it. Now its the middle of december gift season and I still don't have it on the 22nd. Also after calling asking for priority shipping because it was taking so long, and they just sent it first class USPS.

Customer service is garbage and did absolutely nothing to try to make it any better

“The customer has received his replacement SSD. We have resolved the issue with the customer.

We feel the customer's anger may be misdirected. The majority of the waiting time was due to delays in USPS transit and NOT due to a delay in our actions. Our ticket/email response time is 1-2 working days. We responded within 1-2 business days each time. Below is a timeline of events. The long Thanksgiving weekend, his decision to go with a standard exchange instead of advance exchange, and the busy holiday season slowed down the process.

11/19 - initial contact
[11/21 - 11/22 weekend]
11/23 - We troubleshot the issue by phone, diagnosed issue, action plan = new SSD
[Thanksgiving weekend 11/26 - 11/29]
11/30 - Customer decided on the standard core exchange
[12/5 - 12/6 weekend]
12/8 - We checked in the faulty SSD
12/10 - We shipped the new SSD USPS 9400111298287891933166

Regarding shipping, I do see we promised expedited shipping on 12/8. We missed that part, but to state the facts USPS First Class Mail gets sorted with Priority Mail and transit time is more or less the same for either service (see below). I have to say it is unusual for First Class Mail packages to take longer than 3 days to reach the destination. I chalk up the delay to the busy holiday package volume. We apologize nonetheless for not shipping Priority Mail as promised.

"I just want to send a quick review on my computer I received over a month ago. On start up all look fine and run well. Your Rep MAX did an excellent job in getting it ready for me. My internet ran very slow and Max was super patient in waiting for my connection to connect and provide support. It took about 3 days to get it done. Max stated this job would take about 2-3 hrs but 3 days..... I'm really pleased with what Max has done for me and I know he is a valuable member to your team. Great Job Max!

Great service and I am very satisfied!

"I hadn't heard of HIDevolution before I started looking for a new laptop recently and decided to give them a try. I was really impressed by how many customization options they offer when you buy a laptop. I also found their customer service to be excellent as they were very helpful, informative, and quick to respond to any questions I had. Lastly, the processing was very quick and I was able to receive my laptop very quickly.

I couldn't be more happy with my laptop and am also very happy with the service HIDevolution provided. The people working there are great and really offer a lot. I highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a laptop, especially for those looking at high-end laptops where you want to get things just right and have extra quality control and customization options.
