"Buyers BEWARE!!!!!! I will never use this online retailer again. I called and requested inventory of the Canon Powershot S30 (knowing they were hard to find) and was told this item was in stock nd ould ship in 24 hours. I ordered the camera and then the next day visited the Web site and noted that they listed the item to be shipped over a week later from my purchase. I called customer service to confirm and they told me that I should believe what the saleman said and that it would ship within 24 hours. 2 days later I called to get a tracking number and was told the item was not in stock and it should ship out later that week. Due to being lied too twice by this company I cancelled this order and went to another retailer and got what I wanted. I would not recomend this retailer."

"This is my second order from Harmony... my first was the Archos Jukebox MP3 player... which was a good order...

Ordered the Olympus D-550 Zoom on 9-2-02... recieved it in good condition on 9-6-02. The order should've been shipped out 2 days after purchase, and 7-10 business days for delivery. I recieved it in 4 days from my purchase.. awesome.

Packaging is okay.... little insulation, but the D-Cam I ordered was made to handle a rough environment. Don't know if I purchase anything really fagile here.

Bottom line.. great price.... great transaction...

"Online purchases imply an acceptable amount of wait time. Harmony claimed ground orders take one to two days. There were no problems with the order (Card number, address, etc.), but Harmony required an intolerable amount of time to finally process the order. Also, I've been told that the merchandise was being shipped from a remote warehouse. That sounds suspicious, and will certainly add to the wait.
Harmony was not forth-comming with this delay, unti I started enquiring them for a shipping status. Be careful when ordering from Harmony. Service will be very slow, but you will not be informed of this poor service.

"I went to there web home page to purchase the Pinnacle Studio 7 AVDV program and the homepage showed a price of $237.00 and free shipping. When I Went to the product page it listed it as $247.00 and $9.95 shipping. I called Harmony and talked to Leon who said the homepage was mistaken and he wanted the higher price and shipping charges. Today I look and the price is $247.00 but free shipping. I got screwed. Thanks I buy from them again. NOT."

"Ordered a Fuiji 2800 digital camera from Harmony based on:
1) the ratings of the camera from the site
2) the ratings and comments from other postings
It seemed like Harmony had many digital camera customer comments, and most were very positive. I saved $100.00 off the price of the camera if purchased at several local retail outlets. The camera came within 5 days. I would recommend Harmony and use them again for future purchasing.

"I recently attempted to purchase the new Fuji FinePix S602Z from these folks. They were one of the few vendors listed on PriceWatch.com for the camera, and the other more ``well-known'' digicam vendors were charging around $800 for the camera. I ordered the camera, and awaited Fuji's ship date, while keeping an eye on the dpreview.com forums for camera updates. People that ordered the camera after I did that ordered with accessories (CF, Lenses, etc.) started to receive theirs, while I still waited. Other people started mentioning they were seeing the same issues (order just the camera and you won't get shipping priority.) I promptly cancelled the order."

"I needed a new digi-camera after the one I purchased from thenerds.net turned out to be defective (see my comments for that site).

I turned to Harmony after cshopper.com revealed that they had a Casion QV4000 for the incredibly low price of $489.

I was sure this HAD to be a mistake or bait and switch since almost everyone else were listing it for as high as $700 (if you're reading this recently then do a search on www.cshopper.com for Casio QV4000).

I took the plunge despite my fears and elected to order via telephone to see what their voice service would be like. Well the phone was answered straight away and the sales rep was knowledgable and not pushy. He confirmed the $489 price as correct for a new Casio QV4000 - even when I suggested others were selling it for $200+ or more he said that was their price. He took my details and didn't attempt to hardsell any extras (he did politely ask if I needed anything else but that's hardly pushing it!).

Given the low price I opted for next day for $49 and at 11am the next day the camera arrived. It works perfectly and I am incredibly happy I went with Harmony.

"I ordered a Canon Powershot A40 from Harmony early May and less than a week later the camera arrived (free shipping). They asked me if I wanted Accessories (I didn't), but no hard sell.

They sent me the camera for a total of $269, which was the best price I had found (including tax, shipping, etc.).

The packaging wasn't great (no bubble wrap, foam, or anything), but the camera is wonderful and works great.

I would buy from Harmony again.

"I bought a Canon s200 digi elph. I would buy again from Harmony. Here's my story:

I ordered from Dell, and was backordered with ship date due about 4 days later. On that ship date I was backordered to a ship date about a week later. At that point I placed a duplicate order with Harmony, which in their ordering system told me it would be more than a week before shipping. Well, I figured it was a Canon issue, and no retailers had inventory. Both orders shipped the same date, the first date either retailer had inventory.

I am satisfied with Harmony, and would use them again.

"I was skeptical at first - I wanted to buy the new Sony Clie for my wife's birthday. Harmony had one of the lowest prices out there on it, and I've heard of the hard sell online sites in NY and NJ. But, I have a credit card with fraud protection, so off I went. Placed the order, got a confirmation, product arrived when promised, no hard sale call, nothing! I'm impressed. Their accessory prices aren't the best, but they didn't try to force them on me, either."

"I ordered a Canon A40 from Harmony on Monday afternoon, 5/13. The camera arrived today, Friday 5/17, using their free shipping.

They sent me the camera for a total of $269, which was the best price I had seen yet (including tax, shipping, etc.). I would buy from Harmony again.

The only bad thing I can think of was the packaging wasn't the greatest (no bubble wrap, foam, or anything), but the camera seems to work great.

"I ordered a Fuji Finepix 2600 digital camera in February. Fuji could not ship the unit to Harmony for almost 2 months, which put the shipment outside Fuji's $35 rebate window! I sent the rebate in after recieveing the camera, but it was returned "Rejected, offer expired"! When I went to Harmony to see what they could do, thier customer service deptartment was very quick and gracious. They asked me to send a copy of the rejected envelolpe, and credited my mastercard right away! So I ended up with a great deal on the camera and the rebate! This is how customer service should be done!

"Althought I bought a Canon S330 digital camera with the knowledge that it was new in the market and that there was a backlog, I can say that I had a very positive experience with Harmony. At the first indication that the camera was not in backorder, I contacted Harmony and they immediately sent me my camera. The camera was as advertised and at the agreed price. Couldn't ask for more. If there was something that I could recommend to Harmony was to be more proactive in sending status of backorder items or notifying customers as soon a shipment arrives. Maybe they do that and I was ahead of them, but anyway, I got my camera, I used it, and I love it. Thanks Harmony."

"Ordered online after finding a good deal for a PowerShot A40 digital camera for $269 and free shipping. Since my billing and mailing address was different, got an e-mail from them (on April 8)saying as such, so I gave my mailing address to my credit card company as a secondary address. Everything went through, and got a shipping notification on April 10 and got the camera via UPS on April 12. I was SATISFIED with the service and didn't have a reason to complain. When I called the customer service, they were courteous. Would buy from them again if a good deal like this came along."
