"These guys oversold logitech z680 speaker sets, took it off their website, placed it back on their website, and now cant fulfill my order, after holding my money for over a week.

Quite bad business, as I was one of the first to order. They tell me they will notify me when the item is back in stock...

Get a freaking website that can determine if you are out of stock, or dont play games on the website by removing it, then adding it again...

you are out of this item, but STILL have it on your website, for sale! You either are trying to hide a price mistake or lying through your teeth. Won't EVER buy from these guys again.

"12/13/05 UPDATE
A couple of days after I posted my original review, Hardware Cooling contacted me by phone and said they had sent me three emails saying they needed a different address. I rechecked both my email to make sure I hadn't missed something -- no email there. However, they did ship the item the next day and it finally arrived yesterday. It looks about how I thought it would and it seems to operate fine.

I am not sure whether I would order from them again -- I'll see how long the laptop cooler holds up before I decide.

The person I talked to on the phone was polite.

Now that I have the item, I will change my rating to somewhat satisfied. However, the "we sent you three emails" comment makes me feel not so confident in their customer service. (I had received exactly one email from them verifying the order and credit card payment.)

I ordered a laptop cooler online from hardwarecooling.com on 11/12/2005. I paid online at the time of ordering. The payment cleared my bank on 11/14. I waited patiently until 11/27 when I wondered what had happened to my order. I checked my account online and it showed that the order was still "pending" -- awaiting shipment for payment confirmation. I immediately emailed them from their website and have had no response to date (11/30). I emailed again today. This is my first order with this company and I'm disappointed at the lack of response to my queries. Not to mention the frustration of having not received the product I have paid $35 for (plus $7 shipping).

"Placed order 10-15-2005/PAID with Visa debit card
My account shows $22.50 paid on 10-18-2005
I have received one email about one part out of stock, and I OK'd a different color part.
Today is 11-10-2005 and nothing more has happened!!
I have sent 3 emails and made one phone call to the number shown on the web site and left a message on their answering machine. What gives?

Recevied a call from Tom on 11/14/05 and received my order on 11/16.
Good quality parts, easy to understand web site,
easy ordering system, but needs to improve on customer service/response time/resolve problems.

I will visit this site again and order more stuff.

I will also update this statement after my next order is received!

"I have ordered quite a few things from HardwareCooling.com in the last month. The process has been painless. I did receive a bad fan that I sent back. I also sent back a Laptop Cooler that I just didn't like (my fault) Hardwarecooling was happy to take care of me. They promptly started processing with my returns not long after they received them. "I recently tried to order a Notebook Cooler with Thermal Sensor made by Galaxy. Jimmy from Hardware Cooling contacted me to alert me of a possible problem (Thermal Sensor complaining that the acrylic housing holding the notebook together broke off) with the unit that I had ordered. Hardware Cooling made available a more expensive unit for the same price and I received the Bytecc Aluminum Notebook Cooler the next day at no additional cost. Great job Hardware Cooling."
