"I have been an avid customer of HKFLIX for over a year spending about 800.00 in DVDs from them. For the most part, their prices are very good. There customer service is very questionable. A few months ago I bought a DVD that was missing subtitles. I prefer my movies with them. I could send it back, but I would have to pay shipping cost. It would not have been worth the trouble. In this last batch of CDs, I have one that has NO sound if I try to listen to it in its original language. I have not bothered to try to contact them about this yet. What I am writing about here is how rude their customer service has been about another matter. Out of the blue last week I got an email from them saying, RESUBMIT YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. There was no explanation as to why they were asking for this info. I sent them an email saying that it is not good business practice to just out of the blue ask for people's cc info. I was told that a movie that I ordered a while back was now in, but if I did not want it cancel my order. Next thing I know, I am getting these sarcastic emails from nameless customer service reps. I once again told them that with all the scams online, it is bad business to ask for financial information without an explanation as to why. I asked them not to e-mail me again. Since then I have gotten TWO more mails from them. This is the last one I got on 7/21 "You are the one who chose to initiate this discussion in a rudely self-righteous manner. We've never had any other complaints from customers on this issue, hence I was trying to determine your concerns. Sorry to have wasted your time trying to address your concerns. " I have been trying to find a phone number for this company, but the one listed is disconnected. No surprise there. Amazing, a customer is rude and self-righteous if she has a concern about how her credit card is being used? Aside from how rude and thoughtless they have been, it is absolutely appalling that AFTER I asked not to be contacted, they still sent me e-mails. I can understand the one to cancel the order, but this last one? Of course, no one used their names in these e-mails and like I said, there is not WORKING number at which to contact anyone."

"I can't quite recall exactly when I stumbled upon to HKFlix.com, but the sheer breadth of the movies/titles they offer coupled by the fact that they are swift and clear in their execution of ever single order I have made thus far, indicates the scope of their professionalism- at least I think so.

I have also always been appreciative of the care taken in packaging my orders prior to shipping. It all culminates into a great online experience where I no longer have to worry over dubious sites for certain movies I won't find at most other places.

HKFLIX.com Is a great place. Their site is easy to use, the descriptions are clear (allowing me to discern between the 'Special Edition' and far more complete 'Collector's Edition' I wanted, their price was substantially lower than any of their competitors, and finally.. Their order emails and correspondence was fast and personable (including a courteous personal reply to my exuberance in having found a DVD set I have literally been waiting near 20 years to be released... Anyhow. If you like supporting the not-amazon or not-walmarts of the world especially this site has value in spades.
