"Green Man Gaming has a no refund policy. This might seem ok, but STEAM direct has a really good refund policy where you can get your money back. This is especially important when you buy a game that was published in 2018 to play on your $1200 monitor, and it does not support 21:9 because the developers were lazy or because they think there is some multiplayer advantage to having a 21:9 monitor. So before you buy a game from GMG, make sure you spend 20-40 hours researching whether there are any catches to the game, or just buy it directly from STEAM instead."

"Keys have activated always without a problem and programs like Coupon cabin work on the site to save you additional money. Only few things I would like is if they brought back their pay to play system as well as be more clear how the key will be activated. I bought Rainbow Six siege from them only to find out it was a Uplay key and not a Steam key. Be cool as well if they did something like Gamersgate or Humble were you get a percentage back toward your next purchase.

"Green Man Gaming is a must for a PC gamer. If there's a new game out, and it's not on sale on Steam, you can often get a better deal at GMG. I've never needed to contact GMG with any problem in the 5 or so years I've bought games from their website. I've never had a problem receiving a CD-key. My orders always arrive in my inbox instantly.
There's a few reasons I give GMG a 4 and not a 5. The sales are good but not amazing. They are roughly level with the market, same sale you get at Steam but just occurring at a different time, for the most part. That and their selection doesn't have everything. "
