"order 4 pin to 8 pin cable, had to wait for them to make it. when I did receive it I plug the 4 pin into my radio and left the 8 pin lay on the bench. As I was about to plug a mic in to the 8 pin, I touched it and it shorted out and keyed up the radio.THEY WILL NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS.They say it's because the 4 pin was plugged into a cobra radio. They don't understand radio's or anything to do with electronics. I WILL NEVER GIVE THEM ANOTHER PENNY. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER."

"Outstang product, made my own MARS modification it was so simple I think even a third grader can do it.
Have been using two the WOUXAN 920A for about four years now that I have the Icom 2730A its performance is heads and shoulders over the 920A. For the money, performance, reliability ease of operation particularly mobile operation suggest going with 2730A. I recognize Icom has some quaky extras to make it mobile or fixed base installation, but a fifth grader can figure it out and help save some money.
As far as GigaParts they sold the product at a fair price (less than 920A) ever was and had timely delivery.

"Bought a new ft 991a - $1200 which started malfunctioning 3 weeks after purchase. Refused to take return or refund money because it was more than 10 days after I bought it. It took 7 days just to ship it to me. It showed on the product page a 3 year warranty- not manufacturer's, not limited.
I still have Yaesu's warranty, but who wants a buggy radio.
When spending a lot of money on a new electronic products be cautious buying from Gigaparts. Better yet avoid them altogether!

We never want to disappoint a customer, we try to set the right expectation by also stating in our website policy, and confirming in the terms accepted at checkout, that there is a 10-day warranty against manufacturing defects through GigaParts from the date you receive your order. That is the time frame that the manufacturers give us to assist with a defective item.

“Please use the return instructions that were previously provided. We always waive the restock fee on a defective product. We don’t sell Cobra products. The product you purchased stated on our website it was for a Kenwood product. If you purchased the wrong product we can assist with that too. We don’t make the cables so we would not be able to provide a cable for your Cobra radio. ”
