"I was offered $492 for my Note 20 Ultra 5G unlocked, I sent it in, they changed it to (other) instead of unlocked and wanted to give me $236 for a like new Note 20 Ultra 5G unlocked purchased directly from Samsung. I contacted gazelle, they asked me to send in the receipt from when I purchased it showing it was unlocked so I did, Then they offered me the $236 twice again even though they have proof it is an unlocked device that they had already offered me $492 for originally, Also anyone can go into the sim settings of an android device and see that a device is unlocked. This was a giant waste of time when I could have just sold my phone to some other company for closer to what it is actually worth. I feel like this company is trying to pay far less than what its worth just so they can make more profit than they would have if they paid me what they offered. Avoid this company."

"I got a quote for $236 for my 12.9 iPad Pro. It was in perfect working order and not a single scratch on it. Once they received it, I was told the screen didn’t fully light up and there were scratches. This is totally incorrect. They then valued it at $28. What a scam. Now I have to wait and hope it comes back in the condition it was shipped in. I wont do any business with them in the future."

"All of my products were received by Gazelle within 3 Days, and all but 2 have been fully received and I have not been given updates despite multiple inquires.
1 Package had a Laptop and an iPad in it but only the Laptop was accessed and your system states its still waiting on the laptop.
2 Package contained 2 iPads and have yet to be inspected.
Both packages show received by Gazelle and yet nobody can seem to find them.
This has been going on nearly 1 month and I would resolution as soon as possible.

"What an absolute joke of a company. They are scam artists and thieves. Sent in my iPhone XS a couple months ago with an initial quote of $200 only for them to claim it is far too damaged to be sold for anything but parts. Said I could get $70. I thought "oh man it must have been broken in shipping." But I declined the offer and they sent it back. It was unscathed. Perfect condition. So I tried again. This time, the first quote was only $183, but with a promotion for apple products receiving a 10% bonus. A month passed and I hadn't heard anything. The status never changed from "We've finished checking in your item." Meanwhile, my "offer" expiration date was fast approaching, even though I had never received an offer yet. I emailed customer service, received their typical automated email saying I would hear from someone within 2 business days. A week goes by, nothing. So I called. Sat on hold for hours. Never spoke to a single person. I emailed again. And again. And again. Flamed them on twitter. Emailed their CEO's. Everything I could think of. Finally received an email back stating that they are backed up, but that my phone has more than acceptable damage and can only be sold for parts so they had to adjust my offer. It's the same story all over again. I just kept emailing and emailing because I read the same story over and over again from other people. Finally someone today gets in touch with me and says "So sorry for the inconvenience, we're going to honor the original offer of $183. You should be paid out via paypal within 3 business days." Great. Finally. What a headache, but at least it's done. Except then an hour later I get another email saying my offer has been adjusted. It's now $0 because they are claiming it's too damaged, but HEY GUESS WHAT??? They'll offer to recycle my phone for me free of charge! Golly what swell people! I'm not sure what happened to this company. It used to be such a great and efficient way to sell old phones but now they are just a bunch of thieves and scam artists. This is illegal and they deserve to be called out as often as possible. Never use gazelle. I will make it my mission to spread the word about how unethical and evil this organization is."
"I wish I could give ZERO STARS….on 6/27/2022, I sent my "like new" Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G 128GB, Gazelle gave me an estimated trade in value of $351. They received the phone and I noticed looking on their online platform that they changed my trade in to an Iphone 6 Plus, which is NOT AT ALL WHAT I SENT.
I called customer service over and over and they kept giving me the run around stating that they need to get in touch with their “WAREHOUSE.”
Their customer service is the worst, every time I called them it was like it was the first time, I have spent hours and hours trying to straighten this out, and have had zero success.
Customer service told me they have no direct line to the “WAREHOUSE,” but they assured this would be resolved.
A day later I get an email stating that my offer of $351 has been adjusted to $0. They stated that there was a “Model Change: You identified your gadget as a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G 128GB (Unlocked), but it is actually an Apple iPhone 6 Plus 64GB (Unlocked).” They also offered to recycle it.
I never sent them an IPhone and they are now stealing my Galaxy that I sent to them in good faith.
I had to call my provider and report my phone stolen and got the IMEI number blocked on it so they can’t sell it to someone, which I suspect they already have.
Bottom line is don’t become another one of their victims, don’t do business with Gazelle Period, they are crooks.
They stole my phone and they will steal yours too.

"They offered me $126 for my ipad. When they inspected the iPad they offered me $9.00. I went back on their website and check what they would offer for the same ipad in the same condition.it was a max of $36.00 and a minimum of$26.00. They said I had too many scratches and dark spots on my screen. It seems like they do this often as per complaints on this site. I requested for my ipad to be returned. Hope they send the same one back in the same condition."

"I’ve sold a couple phones now to gazelle and it has been a very good experience. Sold my dads Samsung FE S20 to them and a iPhone 12 Pro and both offers were great. So much better to do it this way than deal with selling it online like Facebook, Craigslist. I was offered $586 for trade in based on condition and they upped my offer to $601 since it was in perfect condition. But normally companies won’t just pay you more like that. Shows they are very honest and an awesome company to deal with. I’ll be posting a full review soon to give the whole run down of how everything works and my opinion on the experience.
