"My order was entirely a gift so I can't comment on the quality of the controller nor the function of the mods (not a gamer). My low rating comes from the fact that even though gamingmodz.com was given immediate payment, the order was not shipped same day as the website indicated. Order placed on Thursday and they only started "processing" on the following Monday according to PayPal.
I had purchased the "Halo 4 Illuminating Fully Loaded Xbox 360 Modded Controller" - Holiday Special which also promised "BONUS: All of our holiday specials include a FREE controller pouch, same day shipping, and three pairs of thumbstick covers." I was careful to open the box and these three pairs of "thumbstick covers" were nowhere inside the box. Of course it doesn't matter now since the controller has already been gifted.
I'm certain I'll hear about the function of the controller soon which was my main goal in purchasing. Regardless of the above two complaints and the functionality of the controller, I'll probably use gamingmodz in the future to fill some wish lists."

"I ordered a product before Christmas, expecting a normal delay on the product. Unfortunately, I made a mistake when ordering (due no Ghostery an FF addon making me force reload the page, changing the case and not noticing), and didn't realize until the product had arrived. I promptly set to emailing them instantly, and read they had a 7 day return policy. I waited for a reply, but received nothing. Sent 3 follow ups, and called on a multitude of occasions for the past 6 days and left a Voicemail.
They have NOT responded to any of my requests to see how I can go about exchanging the case to the correct one, and what steps I need to take. There are some discrepancies with the Restocking fee too, one page says 15% one says 20%.
I do not recommend dealing with this company through my experience. No customer service whatsoever.
EDIT (Update): Alex reached out to me after seeing this review on reseller ratings. He immediately took action and prompted to correct my issue by escalating the ticket and dealing with it personally. After figuring out all the necessary details, within a few days Alex had a new controller sent to me through 2 day FedEx mail. This was outstandingly good customer service as he took it upon himself to correct my issue. I cannot thank him enough for taking personal care of his customers. The build quality of the product was everything I had expected it to be, and more. Knowing that Alex truly cares about each & ever order really stands out to me, that he will not let an issue or upset customer go unnoticed. He was very polite and understanding of what had happened, and I couldn't have asked for more from someone."

"Very displeased, with no update on purchase or delivery time. It takes two weeks to assemble a controller? If it takes that long consider hiring more help. Too many other controller mod stores out there to consider before ever ordering again from GamingModz. Sorry but after my expirience can't say I would recommend them.

"We got my son a Halo 4 modded controller w/ LEDs for Christmas. He fell in love it and so did his good friend so he ordered one too. Unfortunately the LED feature (purely for looks) stopped working. The controller and its mods still worked perfectly but at 11yo my son liked his LEDs blinking in a dark room while he played. He was reluctant to send his controller back because it may take too long to get back. I contacted ****@**** (per another post he responded to on this website) and received a very prompt response back. Alex went out of his way to address my son's concerns and is sending a new controller out immediately and w/ express shipping and paying for the shipping on our old controller. The controllers and their mods are fantastic and 2 other friends have gotten the same one off our recommendation and they work flawlessly and are loved!"

I took that advice and I got to say He went beyond my expectations. I didn't know he was the head guy! I thought he was customer service at first. He made sure a replacement was sent out immediately, and emailed me a return label for the messed up controller. "Ordering was/is not the issue. Recieved a phone message stating color of shell out of stock. Was instructed to call the number given to either pick another color or go to web site etc... Called many times during business hours to either wait on hold up to 40 mins plus, or be told to call back during normal business hours(in which case it was normal business hours). Finally after many attempts/many days(even tried online chat with no help whatsoever)actually spoke to a person. Because of the extreme trouble, ask for a reduction in cost.....quess what...the person in charge of that could'nt be found. REALLY!!! Excuse given for such poor, poor customer service was blamed on the Christmas Holiday. Customer service & satisfaction is what makes a business thrive. This is the second time have ordered from them...hopefully will never again."
