"Direct 2Drive, is the only site I use to download games.
The service is great.It makes it so easy to collect games. If there are any problems, they get resolved right away.I once downloaded a game and it just didn't work with my system and I got a refund instantly.
The catalog of games is fantastic. I found games that I thought would never see for downloading.The prices are very fair. But the best thing was when my computer died, I had to replace it, and I was able to retrieve all my games back with Comrade.

But.. D2D needs to improve on additional info to game title pages. For Example, King's Bounty: The Legend has 1.7 patch and other d2d page has it but product(platinum pack) page says nothing(King's Bounty: The Legend product page have it though). I found that patch from KB official website first and then returned d2d. I tried to search patch file with "king's bounty" keyword and results says there's only armored pricess' patch. I tried "1.7" and found it. There was typo.

"My first time ordering from Direct2Drive went very smoothly. That had a deal of a upcoming game for 15$ off of what was originally 49.95$. Digital downloading the game went fast without problems.
Their costumer Support was the best, fast response, and if you have any concern or questions they will answer it.
The game i order was set to launch 1/11/11, Servers open at 7AM but they wouldn't release "Activation Key" till 7AM, due to what they were told. But after i told them that another site already release their Keys already. I gave them proof, and what do you know! They release their key before the time they set!"

"Direct 2 Drive has been having stiff competition with Steam. The good thing about this battle of the downloadable services is that it has really made computer gaming come back to the forefront of my purchasing power. Each service has amazing deals on all the time. And to think a couple years ago it was being said that computer gaming was a dying breed.
Steam has low prices and interesting sales ideas but I have to say that it's Direct2Drive that has impressed me the most lately. They have sales on a regular basis but lately they have so many going on at once and they stack! I've never seen a company with so few exclusions and fine print in their specials. For example, they have an across the board 1 in 5 chance you'll win any purchase, plus they regularly puts games on sale, plus they now have 20% off any game coupons such as this weekend, even preorders!
Direct2Drive often has games for preorder long before Steam does as well. Take Dragon Age 2 for example. This has been in Direct2Drive for many months and there's no sign of it on Steam.
I had a situation were I had purchased something moments before they released a coupon for it. I asked if they wouldn't mind adding it retroactively and the customer service was so excellent they agreed to give me a credit towards my next game in excess of the actual coupon amount. I don't think Steam has anything that can top that.
The only thing that I'd say Direct2Drive needs to work on is their Comrade downloadable service. The patching is not as behind the scenes and slick as Steam's. It actually downloads the game/patch and requires you to click through the installation paths each time. Steam's just does it once and patches automatically with no further prompts. But that's a small complaint for an otherwise top notch company."
