"The item received was just in terrible shape and I let them know that as soon as I laid hands on it. it was partially open which required me to let a professional seal it, after which the team told me since I had had some repairs made on it they wouldn't take it back. the phone was overheating and lagged . in December it finally gave up on me requiring me to get a new one barely a year after purchasing this one. Attached is the review I left soon as I got the item and the receipt. a partial refund is fine in my opinion because nobody in their right mind will buy a $470 brick to be honest"
"I sent them a iPhone that was a year old and had been in a case with screen protectors the entire time. It was in perfect condition and I never had any problems with it. I almost didn't get the new iPhone because that phone was impeccable. I was very surprised to hear that upon their inspection, they said the main speaker did not work well and they were going to knock $300 off the price since it's "damaged". They stated they tested it using Voice Recorder. Well, I had often used voice recorder as well as speaker phone from across a room and knew it worked fine. They sent it back to me, and I promptly opened up Voice Recorder and it worked wonderfully. I don't know if it was a faulty test, or they have some impossible standard, but I have a feeling it was shady business practices. This experience with them was horrible, and I would not recommend them to anybody. I sent it to another phone trade in service once I got it back and it passed all their tests and I got the full amount paid for it. Trade in your phone somewhere else!"
"We wanted to safely sell our iPhones after upgrading and with COVID, doing it in person was really not something we felt safe doing. I searched through a number of different sites to find the best offer and GadgetGone had the best price for our phones by far. They provided a clear explanation of how much we would receive for our devices and how they evaluate their condition. Based on their guidelines I marked one device in "Fair" condition and the other in "Good" condition. I was expecting to receive a payment for the two devices based on those conditions. When they evaluated each device, they upgraded the condition on one device and increased their payment by $60.00. This was unexpected, as I had already figured the offer they gave us before sending in was fair. I was very pleased to get a few extra bucks, considering new devices are so expensive now. The payment process was smooth and we got our payment via PayPal. I think the only real drawback was that it took a few days longer for the process to complete than I had expected, but I really can't complain given the current situation in the country with COVID and lots of people sending in devices because they're upgrading to the latest models."

This company has very strong values and is dedicated to making sure that customers are treated fairly. He is extremely trustworthy.
After initially sending in my phones and receiving a counter-offer based on the condition, I was extremely upset by the valuation of the phones submitted. The owner took time to speak on the phone the next morning and provide clarification.
I feel that he handled the situation well and we reached a mutual understanding/agreement on a fair offer.
Altogether, I would rate this company 5 stars based on their fairness and desire to conduct themselves as professional as possible. I now trust them, and would absolutely recommend them."

"After researching sites to sell my iPhone SE I chose GadgetGone because they appeared to offer the most potentially for my phone. Once I contacted them and received my quote, I sent them my phone and had things wrapped up in a matter of days. I considered my phone to be flawless as I had it inside of an Ottorbox the entire time I owned it and did not see any blemishes on it so the offer from them was for $95. Upon their examination they sent me an e-mail and rated my phone as good and so was only worth $80. I accepted the offer as it was still more than other sites offered and the money was deposited in my PayPal account that afternoon.
Overall my experience with GadgetGone was very good and I would recommend them to anyone trying to sell an electronic device. I would suggest to them that they remove the "flawless" designation from their offers as the also have a designation of "like new" (or something to that affect) as my impression is that there is no difference in their eyes between to two designations.
