"My experience with this company was a breezee. I was trying to find a place that sold the Pikmin figures for a long time but the only ones I could find were from overseas or eBay. The former wouldn't guarantee delivery and the latter were costly.

So in my search I came upon GK World. I called to see if the figures were stock and the person I dealt wih was very pleasant and helpful. I ordered on Friday and they arrived today just as I had been told. The box was in perfect condition. I have no complaints what-so-ever.

"Horrible Experience sofar.

Wasn't bad getting the item shipped to me, though it was four days later than expected that I actually recieved the product. Thought, "No biggie, just a mixup with USPS, which is common." Well, turns out the second DVD in the set was dead. Sent an email to them about it, was told I was going to get a replacement as soon as the supplier. It's been four months, still no item, been told twice now that it is going to be sent within a week.

Just sent out the third email, waiting for a response.

"I purchased a DVD on 4/25/06 and it was supposed to be sent Priority Mail, so I expected it at the end of the week or the beginning of this week. I waited a few days, nothing. I checked my email and not even an order confirmation email. I went back online and it said status "Paid-Completed."

Almost a week went by and I called on 5/1/06. I had to call several times because they weren't picking up the phone. Finally I got a live person and she was nice enough to tell me that she'd personally call me back regarding the order status.

I received a message stating that my order will go out early next week because it was backordered. OK, so where was my notification? Why did I have to make contact to find out that my order would have been shipped TWO WEEKS after I ordered?

I STILL haven't received an email stating the order status or confirmation of the backorder. All I have to go by is a voice message that I had to call to receive. They seem to have a lot of good imported items, but who knows how much of this stuff they actually have in stock?

Their site is very deceiving and poor email communication can ruin a shopping experience for me. HORRIBLE customer service. No wonder why their Testimonials page is blank.

"GkWorld is among only a handful of online stores that sell import products for reasonable prices. I was searching for Metal Gear Soundtracks and it was either take a chance at an Anime store or pay through the roof at a well known website. I decided to go with GKWorld because of a 10% discount they had, and the quick response time to an e-mail I sent prior to ordering.

I placed my order on a Wednesday night, and Friday it was shipped. The price for the CDs was great, and the shipping was reasonable for Priority Mail. I had the discs in hand on Monday, and although the packaging looked suspicious from the outside, inside all was well. In the end, GKWorld pulled through as a small business that I wouldn't hesitate to buy from again. Highly recommended.

"I placed my order for a CD soundtrack set late on a Monday and got my package on a Thursday. Great price, great product, and reasonable shipping rates. I couldn't find too much about this store online, no one tries to review stores unless they have problems, but I want potential buyers to know I had a great experience. Thank you."

"I placed an order for a set of DVDs on April 17, 2005. The prices seemed great, and shipping wasn't too bad.

I now wish I would've payed a premium instead of buying it from GK World.

They notified me on April 19, 2005 that my order would not ship in the 2 days isted under their shipping info. They said they would email me when shipped.

It seemed ok.

April 22nd, nothing.
I emailed them asking what was going on.

April 24, response.
They said it would ship the 25th, and would update me on the 25th with a tracking number.

Nothing.
26th comes around, late that night I got a tracking number.

It's now the 29th, and my package has yet to arrive.

Update: It arrived today, April 30th.
Nearly 2 weeks, 2 weeks, for something that should've taken only 3-6 days to get to my house.
