"Bought the Ematic Converter Box from Wal-mart. Purchased it to set and record tv shows. It works fine at recording, but does not always recognize when the USB drive is inserted. Have to restart and/or remove and reinsert the USB drive in order to make it work. Becomes a hassle."

"I am very happy with the Ematic USB Numeric Keypad. It work very well. Much better than wireless keypad I had to replace due to fragility of the USB connection and frequent battery discharges.
The large keys on the pad are helpful too. Easy install and to use: just plug the USB cable and use it! :)

"I bought an ematic DVD player that did not work when I plugged the two devices in. The company claimed it was damaged but that is defective to me. I e-mailed them and told them that not only did it not work, but there was a tiny crack on the screen which I also mentioned and since I mentioned that the crack was there they would not refund my money because it was damaged not defective. It took my 4 months to get the issue resolved and led to a claim with the BBB which they responded to and said since I mentioned the crack it is damaged and does not fall under warranty. I got tired of fighting so I gave up but if you have a problem with your DVD player don't expect much to happen; You'l have to eat the cost. Worst customer service ever. "
