"Non-existent customer service.
No response to any requests.
Dead phone line."
"It is very apparent that this company has lost control of its Business ethics. I really don't think anyone is in charge there. I spoke to a Steve Griswold in sales who told me,Im sorry for the delay, I upgraded the order for free to 3 day. It is not normal to be this long but we are in the process of switching databases which has caused some delays. Jason Hernadnez who on several occasions lied and told me the product was in and that it would ship immediately. On the very next call Jason told me they received bad memory and had to send it back. Then days later told me it was in and it would ship that day! After waiting approx 4 weeks, I called back and Jason would not give me his managers name or the name of the owner of Edge Micro, Jason just chuckled and asked if I thought I could get him fired. I cancelled the order with Jason Hernadnez who told me initially 3week for a refund and then on another call told me 4-6 weeks.
I took my complaint to Pricewatch; I received this official response from EDGE MICRO: Brad, I did not lie to you. I give the customer all the information that I have from the data base. At times it is a relitive guess as to when things are going to be shipped. Thank you. Jason Hernadnez
Pricewatch must bear some of the responsibility for this Company that has been allowed to advertise on their site tarnishing its reputation as well. I feel if Pricewatch were to have a forum for complaints like Ebays Feedback, it would allow all of us to see the kind of service others received and what we could expect from a particular company before ordering. That would however mean a loss of some revenue from these companies, but I feel Pricewatch would gain a greater trust in the cyber shopper, which would lead to a larger customer base.

"Does this place beleive in customer service? This is place is so disorganized and rude. I ordered a 256MB pc100 ram on the 28th of august, For almost a week it says in progress meanwhile all the other parts I ordered from other places arrived. I call this place all day and get a busy signal with their toll free number I don't get through I finally get their lcoal number from this website and call until I get through and after 3 hours of calling and keeping on hold for another hour I finally got a "customer service" rep. This was the rudest person I have ever spoken to, very unprofessional.I asked what the situation was with my order he was very short in speaking and said they'll be able to send the memory at the end of the week. I asked about the countless e-mails I sent and the deal with their toll free number he blew those questions off. I said forget it I want a refund he said no problem and said it would take 4-6 weeks to process when it only took less than an hour for them to charge my card with the initial order. When I asked to speak to a supervisor or his boss he told me flat out no. He doesn't want to speak to you! I couldn't believe my ears. I really wish I had seen this website before I placed the order. That rep had some serious mouth on him...if only I lived closer to Oregon. If anyone wants to place orders DO NOT order from this place, they absolutely suck!"
"I ordered 128 meg pc2100 memory for my son as part of a back to school gift and got 64 megs of pc100! For an entire week I emailed them and got no response. I finally found this website with their local phone number and extension. I now have to waste more money calling them long distance and on top of that, they have the nerve to be rude over the phone and quick to get rid of me. Who the hell are these people and why are they allowed to operate? I ended up buying memory the same day at a local store just so my son could have his gift and now disputing charges with my credit card."
"July 17 - I order 2 PC133 CL2 modules. Website stated they would ship in 1-7 days.
Two weeks later - call for two days straight, about 200 attempts (no exaggeration); busy every time, even not during business hours. Finally, they respond to my fourth email or so, when I threatened to file complaint with the BBB. They magically have two in stock, and will send them that day.
The next day - I check my order status on edgemicro.com. My order has changed to a PC150 CL3 and PC100 CL2 module. I email Brian Bang (company President, for what it's worth), and he responds that I will receive what I ordered.
One week later - I receive 2 PC133 CL3 modules. Strangely, even though marked by the mfgr as PC133, the stickers placed on each module read PC150 CL3 and PC100 CL2 respectively (no clue what moron did that). A few days later, I send them back for a refund (with RMA# and in original packaging).
A week later (now late August) - Edgemicro receives them. After a few days (9/3), they refund $59.31 of the original purchase price of $96.00 with no explanation.
I wrote Brian Bang an email today requesting the balance of the refund. If I do not receive it, I will post a followup to this message.
I plan to file complaints with the Better Business Bureau of Oregon and the Office of Attorney General of Oregon.
I feel Edgemicro tried to pass off an inferior product as genuine and then impudently refunded only part of the purchase price afterward, probably hoping that I would just not care enough to complain. However, I am a college student, and thus I have more time than money.
If anyone has any recommendations for other places to file complaints, I would be much obliged. This has been a six-week-long headache for me."
"First of all, this company is poorly run, and I think I am justified in saying this based on the responses before me. What kind of company only allows your password to be all letters??? POOR SECURITY. I orderd a micro-atx power supply which wouldn't fit in my system, my fault: it was advertised as "fits MOST hp systems", didn't fit mine though. DOH. So I returned it and it's been a few weeks, no refund on my card yet. Stay away, I won't do business again I DO know that."
"No product shpped until I cancelled the order. The packing slip was printed the EXACT time I sent the email cancelling the order. (Which was over two weeks after they had charged my credit card.) Then, it turns out their memory is defective."
"S T A Y A W A Y !!!!!!
These guys belong in a 4am infomercial right after Miss Cleo, not on pricewatch.
I returned a stick of ram in July because they sent the wrong type. After calling them and realizing how unprofessional they were, I cancelled the order and demanded a refund instead of an exchange and bought the ram somewhere else. Two months have passed and I still haven't received a refund. To top it off, they actually attempted to charge my card a restocking fee. Lucky for me it was a debit card which I use only for online purchases and I had no money in the account at the time so they were rejected."
"First off the Changed my Order # from 127316 to 133327 for some reason... now its and second, their 800 # is busy 24/7.. I am displeased with this company...."
"Simply amazing. I ordered a stick of 256MB DDR memory for my brand spanking new Dell Inspiron 8200.
This was on the 23rd of August. Well today Sept 2nd. I have not recieved anything except the original order confirmation. So I tried calling them for a good couple of hours while only getting a busy signal. Tried logging into the website and that was fruitless.
Finally just dropped thier sales staff an email saying give me a tracking number or considered the order canceled. Then I was complaining in an irc channel tonight and somebody gave me this link.
If I would have known no way would I have ordered from them. I called both my CCs tonight to make sure nothing has been charged. I think all this talk and action by you people has paid off. I recorded no charges when I should have.
Which tells me either they are waiting for me to cancel so they can collect their 15 dollar fee. Or they have been shut down.
Either way I am hoping I dont have to go through the process of disputing this.
Good luck all"
"In the 7 years I have been on the internet I have not seen a company as unprofessional and DISGUSTING as this one. That is, if this is a real company at all. It sounds more like some kid operating from his bedroom and can't afford to keep his 1-800 number up and working, much less answer any emails. My story is similar to the rest here: Slow delivery, bad product, no customer support. I wish I would have come here first before ordering from Edge MiCRAP."
"NO WORKING PHONE NUMBER, NO ANSWER TO EMAILS (EVER) AND THEY SEND INCORRECT, DAMAGED OR LOW-QUALITY MERCHANDISE. THESE GUYS S-U-C-K WITH A BIG S."
"Do not use this company. Their phones are not in service. They don't answer there e-mail. "
"Stay away from these guys. My order has not been filled after 6 weeks. Their website shows the order "in process". Tried all week to call them. Sent several e-mails. No replies. Charged my credit card the first day. Have no idea if I will ever get my stuff. Going to call the ***-***-**** x 204 number on Monday and see if I can talk to a real live person. I will probably have to resort to contacting my credit card company to get a refund."
"Stay away from these people like they are the plague!!! These people are con-artists. I ordered 5 Diamond Home Free 10MBPS networking cards from these people the 9th of August, they didn't ship them till the 20th even though their website says same-day shipping. Then when we reviece it the sent me the 1mbps verion!!! I have yet to try for an RMA, but these people better not try to put a restocking Free on me, when it is their fault. Try with Axion Tech, they had the same card in a retail box, for the same price they shipped it out within 3 hours after I ordered it and it is arriving tommrow."
