"I have ordered from this company for a couple of years but they have gone down hill. I recently placed an order on 11/9/09 and Comfortis was in the order. On 11/10 I scanned the RX and sent it in an email. The same day I received a reply email from John Gold saying "Thank you for sending the prescription. We will ship the order right away via USPS air mail." Yesterday (11/16/09)I received the order but the Comfortis was missing. Comfortis was listed on the packing slip but there was no notation saying it would be shipped seperately or that it was on back order. I called several times this morning and there was no answer and the mailbox was full. I replied to John Gold's email from last week and inquired about the Comfortis...no reply. So this afternoon I just called time and time again and finally someone answered. As other people have stated he was very rude. He told me that they haven't carried Comfortis for 6 months (but it is on their website to order). I told him that didn't make sense and then asked why John Gold had sent me an email thanking for my RX and saying that is would be shipped. He said he didn't know but that I wouldn't be getting the Comfortis. I told him how unprofessional it was to mislead customers and not answer the phone or correspondence. When I said the company had really gone downhill and now I see why there are so many bad reviews on the web regarding his company he got very rude. Good news is they credited the charge back to my American Express card."

"There is nothing good to say. I had to get my bank involved to get the product shipped. They claim orders placed by 2:30 PM PST. ship same day. Not true. They do not respond to email inquiries. When you get someone to answer the phone, rude is putting it mildly. There web site say thet are located in NE yet there address is in New York. When I contacted my bank and they contacted them I was promised item would ship on that Tuesday. They still did not ship until Thursday. Check there BBB report. I should have before I placed an order. Stay away."

"I am starting to wonder if this company went out of business because I too am unable to get a hold of anyone. The email I just sent bounced back, with an error message saying that their e-mail box was full and not accepting any more emails. Then, I tried calling their phone number, and after many rings, got the voice-mail but then heard a message saying that the voice mailbox was full. So I couldn't leave a message. Looks like I'm going to have to get in touch with my bank and get my money back with their help. This stinks because I badly needed this medication."

"Absolutely abysmal, bordering on criminal. Ordered joint medicine for the dog on Thursday and paid extra for Priority Shipping. Electronic payment cleared the bank on Monday, but no status had been posted by Tuesday, so I called the company and was told the order had been shipped on Monday, the day prior. Received email on Tuesday night 4 hours after my phonecall saying "Thank you again for your order from www.DiscountPetDrugs.com. The following items have been shipped to: xxxx using Priority Mail-USPS..." Nothing received by Thursday. Called Friday and was told "I've just been informed" your medicine is on back order for six months. We will send you a generic... I said no thanks, credit my account back. Will see if that happens. I used these people previously with no problems, but something has gone seriously wrong. Hard to get someone to answer the phone and their mailbox is full so you can't leave a message; the "contact us" email on their website does not exist. Consider yourself forewarned.

"Unresponsive, no ship, no support, appear to be out of business. These were important prescription items and the website indicates they ship in a day, but a week later the order not acknowledged, support calls not returned and now support voicemail full, product not shipped. They appear to just be out of business, wish I had read these reviews before ordering.

"Do not deal with this company!!! They are liars and will steal your money and never ship the merchandise. Luckily I have been in touch with my credit card company and they are willing to help and stop the payment. You know, it's bad enough that they stole from me, but more importantly my dog has suffered with not having his pain medication, Deramaxx, for his arthritis. When you call this loser (some Mexican in California) he brushes you off and tells you wait. He rarely answers the phone. I finally got a little nasty with him and he said he would send me the USPS tracking number. I did get the number and it was bogus. The USPS site says it's an invalid number.
Will report this company on every site that wants my opinion. We need to stop these thieves in their tracks.

"I received an incomplete order. Two items were crossed off my invoice and not included in the package. There was no explanation on the invoice, no email saying the items were on backorder. No reason given why the items were not in the package, yet my credit card was charged the full amount. No one answers the 1-800 number, if they do answer, they immediately hang up. They respond to my emails by sending me the UPS tracking information. They won't answer my question about the missing items. This is definitely not a trustworty company. Do not order from this company."

"Very displeased. Called today because I had not received an oder placed in mid-July that was immediately charged on my credit card. I assumed that it was on back-order .. it was part of a larger shipment. The person I spoke with was rude and blamed me for waiting so long to notify then. He refused to apologize or give a refund. When I asked to speak with his supervisor he hung up. After reading the other ratings on this company, I realize my experience is common."

"I have purchase online 2 products, best price i found, until 20 days later my order never arrived. i tried calling, nobody picks ups and the mail box it is always full. they won't reply any of the 7 e-mails i have wrote them. and i nice man with an ascent picked up the phone at last and said they would e-mail me the post office delivery confirmation date, never got it. we should close them down before they steal money from more inocent consumers."

"DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! I ordered insulin for my dogs and it arrived two days after it was shipped. The insulin needs to be refridgerated so I paid for express shipping. When it arrived the ice packs completely mnelted and the insulin was warm. I called the company and was told it should be Ok per the mfg. I injected my two dogs with this insulin. After several days they both were sick and displaying symptoms of diabetes. After testing them their readings were sky high. The insulin was bad. I had to badger this company for an entire week with phone calls, emails etc. After finally speaking to numerous people I was told the "supervisor" would call me back. He never returned a phone call and was always out or in a meeting. They do not stand behind their products and refused to refund me the money I spent on the two vials that I tried using on my dogs because I opened them. I spent over $250 with this one order. They are rude and very unprofessional. On two occasions they hung up on me. Read all the other complaints issued against them."

"DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. I ordered multiple products and two of them were incorrect. I called multiple times and spoke to many people. Each person told me that my new products were shipped to me and that they would send me a tracking number. Neither was true. Each time I called I asked to speak to a manager, and "he is in a meeting" was the response each time.

This is the WORST customer service I have ever received.

"Terrible customer service. Ordered products over the phone and after I gave them my credit card information they charged my account and hung up on me. I called back and have left several messages. I haven't received my $200 worth of products! I am thinking the company has folded? Their emails are bouncing back. Help!"
