"I sure wish I had reviewed this company before ordering. I ordered medication for my cat that I wanted quickly, even paid extra for Priority Mail. It said on the website that generally most orders will ship same day as long as order is placed before 2:30pm. I ordered mine well before that time and even made sure to leave a comment with my payment to ship my order as quickly as possible. I tried calling them twice the same day, left 2 messages, and got no call back. I actually got someone on the phone later in the day (which sounds like a miracle compared to everyone else's luck) and the guy said the order would ship today and that I would be emailed all the shipping info. Of course, it's the end of the day and no email and of course I can't get anyone to answer my calls. I have a feeling my story is going to end up like everyone else. Hoping for the best, but not expecting it. This is crazy! How can this company get away with this?"

"STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Very disappointed. I have been using this company successfully for my pet meds for two years. However, my last order in January 2010 has been a HUGE disappointment. Unfortunately with the death of one of my dogs, I had some nonprescription, unopened supplements to return which I did in March 2010. Today is June of 2010, and I have yet to receive any credit for the return. Calls to the company go unanswered, emails to the company go unanswered. On the one occasion when someone did answer the telephone, they immediately put me on hold for 28 minutes and 33 seconds which gave me more than enough time to research and file the complaint paperwork with the Better Business Bureau -- which also went unanswered after the BBB's inquiry to the business. Stay away from this company. My recent experiences certainly makes me question the legitimacy of this company and the quality of the products they are selling. I plan on filing a complaint with the FTC as well to assist in hopefully ending this business's unsavory business practices."

"I urge everyone to stay away from this seller, they will never ship the items and you cannot contact anyone, they do not answer the phone, they will send an e-mail with a promise of the ability to track, and you will never hear again. I ordered Glycoflex for my dog, an item she needs and has been using for 7 years, in the past I have used Entirely Pets, and they will ship quickly, this company is bogus, they are liars and in essence they are crooks...Stay away at all costs, do not order from them, EVER."

"Ordered vaccines and Diarsanyl, never received the Diarsanyl and can't get threw on the phone. Also sent the wrong Vaccines and they were wrapped in aluminum foil and not in a cooler. So I didn't get one single thing I ordered. These people are selling drugs out of their house, this isn't a business."

"I ordered Frontline Plus from this company in early May -- when more than a week had passed, I told them to cancel the order because I needed it before I left for vacation (another company delivered it to me in two days). I refused delivery when their product finally did arrive, and it has been extremely difficult to speak to anyone on the phone or to get anything other than a preprogrammed email in response to my question about getting a credit refund. The latest I heard is that they only receive items on Thursdays, so I have been told to call back then....The lesson learned here is that low prices are simply not worth very poor customer service. I suspect that they receive their products from overseas, which is why they take so long to arrive, and that the company has outsourced its customer service. Another lesson learned -- don't ever just simply refuse delivery. Make sure you get a confirmation of delivery, or you won't be able to file a dispute with your credit card company because a credit card compoany can't dispute a payment without a tracking number or proof of delivery."

"This company is horrible. They are a fake!
I have placed an order for some pet medications two weeks ago and have provided all the required information, but still have not received anything. I have called the costumer service numerous times with no luck. They will not return my phone calls or emails. My vet said they have never contacted them regarding the prescriptions. I would never order anything from this company.

"Please be careful when ordering from this company. They credit your account immediately but won't ship the product for almost a month later. Will not answer any e-mails or phones calls. Have left a number of messages. This company is not on the up and up. I wish I would have checked the reviews before ordering from them."

"I ordered some prescription pet medications from them on 11/11/2009 which was filled in a week. The prescription had three refills left and after many calls I managed to get a refill order placed on 4/28/2010. Now I cannot reach them and have not received the order, after three weeks.. I have to get another prescription to send somewhere else. How do they expect to keep customers?"

"These creeps scammed me. I never received the meds I ordered and they charged my credit card. Took 4 days to get an answer on their so-called business phone and they said the meds I ordered are no longer available (which they are), told me they credited my credit card (which they didn't), wouldn't give me their last name or anything else. These guys are laughing in everybody's face with what they are doing. "

"they sent me the wrong product and refused to refund my money back. they were also very rude over the telephone. i will not order from this company again, and do not recommend. they actually admitted to scamming me over the telephone during our conversation by sending me a product in place of the one they did not have but a different one. it was bad."

"I place an order on March 23, 2010. I thought it was complete and received an email on 3/28/10 stating I needed to advise how I wanted it shipped. I did that by calling Discount Pet Drug and by speaking to Louis. On April 1, 2010 I received another email stating they needed my shipping preference and I called again and spoke to Mike. I still have not received my order and on April 9th I called again and asked when would I receive my order since I was already charged for it in full. I was told I would get it either Sat. 4/10 or Mon. 4/12. I then received an email from UPS stating I would not receive it until 4/16 which is suppose to be sooner than the original date expected according to UPS which is 4/20/10. I do not recommend this website or company to anyone who has a pet with special medical problems and needs products asap. I will not continue to order from them and if I do not receive this order by 4/16/10 I will report them to the Attorney General and Better Business Bureau as a fraudulent company. "

"I have purchased from Discount Pet Drugs twice in the past and have received quick shipments of exactly what I ordered. It wasn't until I decided to sign up for an account during this purchase did I start to experience issues with them. It may be just coincidence, but, now they they have my info on file are not sending me my shipments. I received the order confirmation email quickly after my order on March 18th. A few days later I received the UPS Delivery Notification that they have delivered my order. I looked on the UPS tracking website and it was delivered to California (I live in Washington). I called the company and emailed them multiple times. I spoke to someone on the 26th where he said he would look into it and call me right back. He never called back. I called again 2 days later, left a message, never heard back, in fact I called 4 times and never heard back from anyone. Their voicemail sounds like an answering machine. I emailed 3 times at both ****@**** and ****@**** and no replies. Based on reading the other remarks from other reviewers, I am going to get my money back from them by going to my bank to cancel the charge. It is a shame, since I really liked Discount Pet Drug's prices."

"I have had a similar experience to many of the problems stated here. I just filed a complaint with the FTC and I would encourage everyone else who has had a problem with Discount Pet Drugs to do the same. https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/
I only received part of my order, and one item was sent in a lower quantity than I ordered. Yet, my credit card was charged the full amount. I have emailed and called every day, with absolutely NO response from DPD. This seems to be their standard business practice. Please complain to the FTC, so that they can investigate and put Discount Pet Meds out of business. They are taking advantage and overcharging too many people. They need to be stopped.

"Stay away from these people! Seven days have passed and not only have I still not gotten any confirmation of my order (which is much needed medicine that I should have received by now) - they charged my credit card a second time, without my permission, for a higher amount. They have been rude to boot. Now I understand why BBB gives them an F."
