"Same story as other reviews. Wish I had found this site first. Placed order for projector at about $100 less that what other sellers were advertising. Next day, received email to call and "confirm" my order. Salesman informed me that the price did not include the bulb, and which bulb did I want to purchase? Would have been several hundred more dollars. I cancelled the order and am watching now to see if I get my money back. Stay away from these guys, very shady, definite scam!!!"

"Buyer beware!!! I ordered the Mitsubishi HC6800. The advertised price was around $2,100. When I called to "confirm" the order, I was told that the unit would come with a "50" hour bulb, but if I wanted a "4,000" hour bulb, it would cost extra. The unit ended up costing $2,650. I stayed with them because with screen, the package deal was still good. They sent the projector, but the screen was suddenly "backordered," but they had a more expensive one if I wanted it. As for the bulb, I contacted Mitsubishi directly and was told in explicit language that there was only one bulb available in that unit, and it was rate for 4,000 hours (part number VLT-HC6800LP). Their salesperson lied to me."

Same as the others, place order at low price, they ask you to call to confirm next day, never tell you the item is back ordered, tilll you call. Then they say is going to take two weeks, but if you want they do have the complete kit in stok for hundreds of dollars more. Called after two weeks and again the said it would take two more weeks, so I cancelled my order, which of course would have never come!!! Did I mention how rude they are????? could not believe how vulgar the are when on the phone, like they dont care at all!!!!!!!"

First they advertise a very low price on some camera, probably just to get your credit card # (catch you in their net)! Then, the order says 'call the confirm".. never seen that! When you call...they say the item is back-ordered for a period 'unknown'... and abruptly hang-up. Just from their suspicious nature, I canceled the order (even I had no problem waiting). Just did not appear to be a legit place.

"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. They post the lowest cost on cameras and they rip you off or if you don't agree to their rip off, they will delay sending the article. I orderd a Canon camera, $9 cheaper than the next cheapest. Like the other complaints on this page, I received an email saying all is well, call. When we called they said we needed a $60 battery because the AA batteries only last 15 minutes. My wife finally agreed to it. Rather than the $60, we were charge $130. What we received was a $10 recharger and batteries (I know they are $10 because I buy them from Walmart). Like the others say, there is not much I can do about it becasue they say it is a bundle price and they charge a 15% re-stocking fee and a $30 insurance fee for the return. Apparently, if you don't agree to buy the batteries, they just say your camera is on back order until you agree to buy the batteries. Also, you buy from Delta, get billed by Allstate Camera and receive the camera from a third and different party. When you talk to Delta, they refuse to give you their last names, their owners names, or an address.

"It started out as a normal Internet transaction. I got an invoice in the email for the camera I just bought but there was a note that I had to call and confirm the order (the first red flag!). I also had a call from the salesman. I fell for the misrepresentation about the batteries and the deal on the web page that you would receive 2 for 1. After I got off phone and reviewed the invoice online I saw that the invoice changed from an itemized price for the camera and shipping to a package deal that went from $896 to over $1300 for the camera, the batteries and the extended warranty plan (buy 3 yrs and get a 5 yr plan). I called and complained that the prices don't even begin to make since given the battery and warranty prices on the web page. The salesman, Chris, said that the battery wasn't listed on the web page because it was so new and that it was so much superior. He said that he had also made a $50 error and brought the price down to $1275. I then got a call from my credit card company that there was a possible fraudulent charge being made on my card (This should have been a big red flag but it has happened before; the company must be in the data base as a scammer.) When I received the order there was only 1 battery, not the 2 promised. When I searched for the price of the battery, I found them selling for $15 to $20. The bottom line is that I paid about $275 more for the camera and accessories than the actual price advertised. I can't believe I fell for the sales pitch, I should have known it wasn't legtimate when the price advertised was so low and the price was listed as a package deal without an itemized price list. I should also have researched the battery instead of falling for the blatant lies of the salesman. It turns out that I paid high retail for the camera and got a lesson that I won't forget. After seeing the other reviews at this site and others, I fell lucky that I at least received the camera at all."

"I called this company to inquire about shipping prior to making the purchase. The guy rushed me through my questions and then hung up on me. I called back and he hung up on me again. (same guy) They seem to have 2 employees.

I called back a 3rd time and asked to speak with the manager. The SAME GUY said "I am the manager," and hung up again.

I was fully intending on doing business with these guys, but was hesitant after that experience. Then.....someone suggested I look at this site for reviews. I AM SOOOO GALD I did. These reviews have saved me a lot of aggravation and time.

"I placed an order with DeltaCamera.com. I didn't order a photo card or anything except camera. On the confirmation call I was told, "you can't take pictures without a photo card". At 4 times the cost of photo cards at local stores, I replied, "no thanks, I can buy that locally." Then I was told "the batteries that ship with the camera will explode and mess up your camera. And they'll only last 15 minutes." I replied, "I already have rechargeable batteries. I only need but the camera." On August 4th, I called when my status still said "processing" on their website. Was told the camera was on backorder for a "few" weeks. On August 6th, I had a friend call and inquire about the same camera. It is in stock and she could have it in 5-8 days. I called back...surprise, surprise..."the camera is on backorder for a few weeks." When I explained about my friend calling, the story immediately changed to "you ordered with a Visa and our Visa terminal is down. It'll be a week before it's fixed." I then spoke to a "manager" (another scammer) and was told the camera in stock was the "retail version" (price over $100 more than advertised on the website) and the camera on the website was the "wholesale version". I asked other than the price, what was the difference. "The retail version comes with a cable and an English Owners Manual. The wholesale version (website) has a Chinese Owners Manual." I asked why the website didn't specify this. He said, "I don't have to say that on my website. You pay for what you get." I cancelled my order. I called Canon to report this dealer. They are not an authorized Canon dealer so there's nothing Canon can do about them. I was also told that if I had ever received the chinese version of the camera, the warranty wouldn't have been honored in the US. I then cancelled my credit card. These people are scum. It is apparent from further research that these people simply change the name of their company when their current name gets a bad reputation. I wish I had found ResellerRatings.com before I ordered from these low-lifes as many reviews sound the same."

"I ordered a GPS system, received a call from William a few days later stating I needed to order updated maps for a deal of 59.99, when I questioned this William said he could give it to me for $39.99, when I hesitated he said "It's not a million bucks lady, do you want it or not"? I canceled my order, he would not give me a cancellation order but did say nothing had been shipped or charged. I won't wait to find out, I am calling my credit card company first thing tommorow!"

I had everything else since I was simply upgrading from another camera. When I asked if my order was going to be shipped immediately, they rudely hung up on me. My order remained on backorder until I cancelled it 4 days later. I would STAY AWAY from this company."

"Very disappointed. Ordered a Garmin GPS nuvi 205 for $99. Specifications on website were minimal. Did not specify what year the basemap was. Received call to "verify" order. They wanted to "upgrade" from 2006 basemap to 2009 basemap for $69. I told them to cancel the order. The price then went to $35, then $25 to upgrade. I insisted to cancel and they hung up. Do not use this vendor."
