"My story is no different than the others posted. I ordered an item and I did not receive a shipment notification. 72 hours later I called to check the status and found out they did not have the item in stock. I canceled the order, requested a refund and still have not received it 3 weeks later. They continue to tell me it will show up in my bank within the next 2-3 days. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and encourage everyone else that has been taken by these criminals to file one also. Maybe if enough customers take action and file a complaint, we can put these criminals out of business. It only takes 3-5 minutes online. I plan on filing one per week and calling as well. I only lost $110 but it's the principle behind these criminals literally robbing customers and nothing is being done about it.

"i wish i would have found this site before i ordered. same run around with the e-mails and no answering the phone. i havee asked repeatedly to cancel and refund my order. ordered on 6/12 and today is 7/1. it was just a $100 marine amplifier, but it is my $100. no tracking number. no customer service. i will file a dispute with my credit company in the morning. called today and got a dispute # but the fraud dept was closed already. DO NOT BUY FROM!!!!!SCAM SCAM SCAM. i will update."

"I am one of the victims of this DCCA scamming process. I made my order on May 14,2010. Order number are 58567 and 58568 amounting to $973.

After all the eamiling back and forth with DCCA, i have enough of their GAME and decided to cancel my orders and asking for my refund, then they started reply emails in the insane and weired short sentences like many of the others victims.

They will not answer their phones as well, i been try to calls and never get to talk to anyone. They keep me holding the line for HOURS.

I have filed my complains to the Federal Trade Commission and FBI-IC3 and JUDGE JUDY to bring them forward in front of the screen to let all the american see their faces on the tv.

Today 07.17.2010 (2 months 3 days).. they did not give me the order cancellation number as promise and money is not in my account yet. I believe all of us here are having the same nightmare.

ALL i can say to everyone who is in the same boat, do not wait for few daysssss, just go ahead and file to FBI-IC3, BBB, Federal Trade Commission, National white collar crime unit, Bureau of Justice Assistant and I have file to JUDGE JUDY the BIG TV production, I WANT to them in front of the BIG screen.

ALL you here, do not wait please ... go ahead and file all your complaint ... the faster you act the better as to give attention to the FBI and they will take action quicker ...

Don't believe the lies from Simon and their other representatives. Just do not order anything from them.
Well, I think everyone here knows this story already. Ordered a kicker L7 on June 01, 2010. After waiting a few days I Sent out emails, got the 1-2 days max, 2-3 days max string of canned responses. Then I proceeded to threaten them with legal matters. Immediately got a call from Simon who convinced me not to cancel the order and give them till the end of the week. Did that, of course nothing happened and I canceled the order the following week. I got the confirmation email and the statement that it is out of their hands on June 15. Today is June 30, 2010, still no refund. I've filed a complaint with BBB and my bank.
I purchased from them before and I got my product so I don't know what happened to them.

"On May 20th I placed an order for a new car stereo head unit through DCCA. I was told after a week and a half that the item was on back order from Alpine and that I should receive my order a week later. Another week and a half later, still nothing; I was told they expected the item to ship in 2-3 days.

After another week or so of waiting, I cancelled the order. I waited for a refund for about a week, but of course, no refund. I have been emailing DCCA everyday at least once for the last week or two asking for my refund, and the only responses have been, "We're expecting tomorrow or the next day," "You'll see it soon," "We'll take care of it right away," and the list goes on. I also attempted to call DCCA several times, sometimes multiple times a day, occasionally waiting on the line for close to an hour, and not one person ever answered a call.

These scam artists have had my money for 40 days as of the day I'm filing this complaint. After being so diligent in obeying their cancellation and refund procedures, I would expect to at least have a definite date of when my refund will be processed (even though it should have been processed immediately), but I haven't received anything close to resembling a straight answer.

DCCA is the most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with in my life and they don't deserve to stay in business stealing everyone's money.

"DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY EVER!!!! You will never get it, and I still don't know yet if you can even get a refund. I ordered a Memphis Audio Sub on May 29th. Never got tracking information. So I emailed to see what the deal was. The said the speaker was backordered from Memphis. So I asked for an estimated time they might Know when I Might get it. June 9th they say "We expect a few business days for tracking information." So I wait a few days (12 to be exact) and email them back, because theres no tracking info. I asked for the tracking number again, a few times. "Should see it soon". "We'll get that looked into". "You will see it shortly". "We expect a few days", are the ONLY resposes you will get from these people. So I just asked for a refund. They said it takes 2-3 days for a refund. Okay, day 4 after waiting for my refund, Where is it? "You will see it shortly". What exactly is shortly? "We expect a few days". So if I dont have my refund tomorrow, the chairman of the FTC, BBB, IC3, and small claims court will all be aware of it."

"Lousy all around web-store. Made a purchase on some Alpine SPX-17REF 6-1/2" 2-Way Car Audio Component Speakers on May 24, 2010. E-mailed on the 26th asking when the product will be shipped, response was 1-2 bus days from the 26th( two days after ordering). Wrote back on 6/2 asking for a tracking number, they said still haven't been shipped...Wrote again on the 4th, still no tracking..wrote again on the 10th, was told it was back ordered and asked if I could wait a couple days, of course 1-2 days. wrote back on the 14th, they said still pending, may need a few more days. Wrote on the 15th to cancel, they sent a link to order cancellation page. Canceled on the 17th, they said we will see it update. wrote on the 18th asking how long it takes, they said of course 2-3 days. Wrote on the 25th asking where my money is, they said should see it shortly. It's now the 29th and still no money back. Lousy customer service, can't get a hold of anyone on the phone. ***** TOTAL WASTE OF TIME ***** Now 19 July, and have I recieved a refund?? I'll let you guess on that one..."

"I ordered over 1000.00 worth of product from this company on April 20th, 2010. After 10 days of not receiving a tracking number the e-mail game began. They kept stating 2-3 days, then stated the product was on backordered. I canceled my order and still have not received a refund. This has been going on since June 8th. I have yet to talk to a person and I keep getting the same e-mail replies of 2-3 days for a refund when they told me 7 days ago it would be 2-3 days. This company is a scam and I have filed a report with the BBB, Attorney General's Office of California and the FBI. I have also hired an attorney to file a lawsuit against them for fraud. A credit card refund should be instant - same day, not months in the process. Do not make the same mistake that I did. DO NOT ORDER PRODUCT FROM THIS SITE!!!"

"Do not buy from this website, They are a SCAM!!!!! I have bought a Pioneer DEH-P4000UB on my 18th and its June 28th currently. nothing has been shipped nor did i get my refund that i have been asking for a month. As most people posted here after a week and a half of not receiving my product they offered me a different model which i agreed to and they said they will ship it immediately. after a few days i emailed them and they said it will ship in 1-2 days. after a week and a half of waiting i wanted a refund and have been asking for it for the past month. When emailing them you get a response of a five year old which makes no sense and does not help you in any way. I have finally emailed them that they have until June 30th to refund me or i am filing a law suit. I am so happy that my mom is a lawyer and after i told her what happened she agreed to suit them until they are jailed. I have already contacted the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and i will contact every major legal consumer organization that i will find. I encourage all of you to do the same thing. If i do not receive my refund i will post bad reviews on every consumer rating website and contact every source i can to get them black listed. I encourage you to do the same thing until they are shut down!!!! PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. Purchase from ebay or any other website that allows paypal. it is much safer. If if do not get my refund i will do anything in my power to trash dealercostcaraudio.com as much as possible until they are shut down!!"

"I have had the same problem as MarkRichards with this horrible excuse for a company. Thank you for posting information on filing a lawsuit. I plan on pursuing that this week. This is the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I placed my order Monday, May 31st, 2010 and still have not received a tracking number or my items dispite them charging my card right away. I have been told one too many times to wait 2-3 days. I've already made arrangments with my credit card company to have this taken care of and if these guys think they are going to get any kind of money from a refund or anything, they have another thing coming. Do not do business with this company. I really think they run this thing out of their basement. The phones are constantly busy and the e-mail replies are very poor. I received one that said nothing more than "2-3 Days". I am fed up. I will post an update on how the lawsuit filing went to help out with anybody elses' problems. Please send an e-mail to ****@**** if anybody could share their stories if they have filed on this company already.

On Sunday after posting they sent me an email telling me to take it down because it will only make the issue longer. I gave them until wednesday to give me either a tracking number or a refund and there has been no response. I am now going to be posting a review on any website that I can find about this horrible excuse for a company. I am contacting my credit card company tomorrow to explain to them this issue.

"ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. DO NOT ORDER FROM DEALER COST CAR AUDIO. I'm not sure if this is a real company or just a scammer. After waiting weeks for my order to ship, I finally began trying to contact these kids. I could never get through on the phone and my emails went unanswered or received one or two word responses that never made sense. I finally was able to cancel my order but have still not received my refund. It's been a month. Dealer Cost Car Audio stole my money.

The only way to get a response is to threaten legal action - then you'll hear back immediately.

This is the last week I'll be waiting. The FBI's internet fraud department and the BBB will be hearing from me in the next couple days.

"I ordered an amp and some wiring on 3/5/2010. Nothing ever shipped despite being assured many times that the order would ship within a day or two (via email correspondence). I finally cancelled the order on 6/10/2010. As of 6/27 I have not received a credit refund. I intend to engage my credit card company to recover the charges and, if necessary, take legal action against DCCA.

Unfortunately, I did not read these reviews before ordering with DCCA - I never would have. I use e-commerce very frequently and this is the first time ever that I have been completely ripped off - no goods and no refund.

"Do NOT do business with this company, they are dishonest, unprofessional and will rip you off! We have tried contacting them about our order but never receive adequate replies with any pertinent information. We have threatened a lawsuit and fully intend to follow through if our requests are not met by the time requested.
