"Far exceeds the no QC product from Lowe's.

I first bought 1500 sf of a similar product from Lowe's. After having 800 sf installed, noticed a strange white powdery coating on the product. Closer examination proved to have an alternating finish to the product. Like flat and semigloss finish alternating visible in the correct daylight angle reflection. This was not noticeable with artificial light on the product. Contacted Lowe's about problem and was told to contact manufacturer because Lowe's did not do the install and it was likely an installation issue. Manufacturer told me to contact Lowe's. So for 5 months I was a ping pong ball. Finally got an independent evaluation from a manufacturer supplied contractor which confirmed my suspicions of a quality issue. The report clearly stated "Manufacturing Quality Defect". Lowe's finally sent out their people to remove & return the defective product, refunded my purchase price as well as the installation cost I had paid out. Overall bad experience but could have been worse. 5 months of time wasted on defective manufacturing of product with little if any quality control. I am grateful to have had my costs reimbursed with out having had to hire an attorney. Lesson learned: start your flooring project with a quality product and you will have a quality looking finish when the job is done."
