"run away..
they sell some off-brand memory thats incompatible with alot of systems. RMA is at your expense..thats how they unload it. My RMA sat on their desk for nearly 2 months before they shipped replacement THE FIRSt TIME...then
I demanded refund..none came.
I went thru my bank for chargeback to my creditcard
and they did not collect the refund until nearly 5 months from the date of original purchase.

"Out of 30 sticks of PC2400 DDR Ram ordered 22 Were Bad.
Out of 1 Stick of 256 MB SDRAM Ordered on a different order 1 stick bad.
Out of 10 Sticks of 512 MB SDRAM ordered 0 bad.

Had a hard time getting them to respond to the replacement request.

two Emails 3 Phone calls before I could get them to talk to me.

"I had a terrible experience with DVCentury. I ordered a video capture card. When the card arrived, it was nearly impossible to install. They claimed that it was plug-and-play, but in reality, the instructions were in Chinese, the drivers were in German, and the installation was very strange and complicated. I never got the card to fully work right. I contacted them to try to return the card, but they never answered my e-mails. I sent three or four e-mails to each of several different addresses they list on their website over a three week time period and never got even an automated response. Also, don't bother paying for the upgraded shipping. I gave them extra money to ship it faster, but they took my money and sent the package by regular package mail. They have crappy products and terrible service. Don't waste your time with DVCentury."

They will only respond to complaints after you
instruct your credit card company to withold payment.

Then they expect you to pay shipping both ways

"I've been fighting with dvcentury now for 3 months Trying to get an working stick of pc 3000 1gig stick of ddr for my Friends computer First I ordered the wrong memory so I sent It back RAM It took about a week then they told me by email I had to make an new order then they would credit me back problem is that the shorted me 15.00 . After getting the new memory I try ed it in my pc so I'd know It would work in my Friends machine,quess what, It lock up on boot up, I took the memory to an local computer store to be tested and they told me to send it back it's bad . I rma the memory and now I got another bad stick, again and now my Friend's mad I'm mad. And According to all the reviews I've read I'll never get a good dimm and I out shipping for three returns of 8.50 ups 150.00 for the memmory and the 15.00 dollars they never reimbursed me. so I'm looking at an loss of 180 or more that I have to eat becuase I can't charge my freand for bad memmory."

"This revies pertains to Order Numbers: 74367, 76586, 73676 (vendor canceled)

All orders for 256MB of DDR PC2700 RAM for nForce2 chipset.

1st order memory was only compatible with "Via chipset" mainboards(but the site did not indicate this). Vendor emailed me a link and it was dead when I clicked on it.

2nd order to replace 1st order: server error order ed 25 stick of ram at a cost of over $900! Vendor canceled. But when the error occured the server dumped other peoples orders, names, home addresses,etc.

3rd order again to replace first order which I retuned over 2 months ago. This memory was supposed to be samsung/micron and it again was generic and only compatible with "Via chipset" mainboards. The cost was outrageous: $63.56!! Such memory should sell for $32.00 delivered.

To date 7/10/04, I have not received a credit for my original order. They received it but not state any reason for the lack of credit except that they were working on it.

Today I am mailing the dispute forms to Visa.

"I ordered memory from DVcentury.com and I can't believe that businesses are allowed to operate like this. This is a website made to steal your money. They sent me bad memory and said I had to re-order new memory to replace it. Then they would refund me when they received the old memory. Turns out, my story is just like everyone else's. They said they never received the package even though UPS has shown me the signature from them signing for it as well as the same signature signing for them on multiple other occasions. Luckily my CC company is disputing them. I figured out why no one receives e-mail from them. The e-mail I received was in the worste english imaginable. I almost needed an interpreter to read it. BBB why are you letting foreigners rob us?!! Please end their business and allow me to feel comfortable knowing that my money is going to tax paying honest Americans!!!!"

"I wish that I had known about this site when I made my order with DV Centuty. All was well till I had problems with a power supply. I sent it back almost 3 months ago and still have not receved the replacement these peole are either incompatent or dishonest I have yet to make the final judgement on the matter. "I purchased some system RAM from this company. I received some that wasn't compatible. I returned it and attempted to get the correct product. I didn't receive it and my credit card was charged a second time. I have been waiting now for several months with repeated calls to their customer service department. I get the run-around every time I call. I'm told, "We'll get that refund to you next week" or " We'll get it out to you tomorrow." Nothing is ever done. Beware of this company."

"Charged my credit card and sent e-mail confirmation that order was shipped. Week later I called to request the tracking # (cause order did not arrive). They gave my false number (USPS does not have any records). Next day called again demandind clarification. They admitted that order was never shipped (so called "on back-order"). I requested cancellation. They sent confirmation e-mal and promiss of a refund. 12 days later still no refund.
They are SCAMMERS.
I wish I checked bbb.org database before placing an order.

"Purchased memory and indicated I wanted aluminum heatsink coolers added to the memory. Received the memory fast enough and all. But the heatsink spreaders where MISSING from the memory! I have emailed them on 5/26/04 at ****@**** and am awaiting a responce...
