"Credit card was charger on Dec 31, 2002 and nothing was shipped. Emailed the sales department four times for Order status update, no respond, Dialed the 800 number, no live person answer except recording and ask people submit question via email. WILL NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER AGAIN. No customer service at all."

"CRUX=CROOKS. Billed my credit card on 12/31. Waited 1 week for product, nothing received. Emailed twice for tracking number, no replys to email. 800 number is not answered by live person. Filed credit card fraud claim with my bank. BUYER BEWARE. Prices may be great until they don't deliver."

"CROOKS WORKS Terrible service. Billed my credit card and never shipped. Cannot contact or get any information of any value rom their customer service email. As of 1/7 still have not credited my account for unshipped product. Never will order from them again. Stay away from these guys!"

"Ordered a scanner on 12/22/02. Ordered was processed and charged to my credit card on 12/23/02 went back to web site on 12/27/02 because I hadn’t heard from them. Found out they were closed from 12/24/02 till 12/30/02 that was o.k. but then still didn’t here from them. Emailed them on 1/5/03 got a response today they didn’t have any so they deleted my order but hadn’t bother to tell me or taken it off my credit card yet. Would not buy from them in the future ."

"I ordered a USB 56k modem on October 7, and recieved a confirmation email shortly after. I expected it to be fairly quick shipping, since I have had other people order from them with no problems. It's been 3 months now, and no sign of the modem. The credit card HAS NOT been charged, so I went over to Buy.com and ordered another USB modem, and it is in transit already."

"Very dissatisfied. Will not order from this company again. Ordered Dragon Naturally Speaking Essentials 6. I did receive a shipment from them in the advertised time. However, inside the box was a packing slip for Dragon, but no Dragon. Instead the box had six rolls of computer label. So far have sent emails, called on the phone, and written. The email and letter were never answered. When I called I was told that a return form would be sent and I would get the correct order item within 10 days. Did receive a return form but it was for Dragon which I had never received. Be very careful with this retailer."

"ordered the Hitachi CML174 LCD on Nov 26 and received it on Dec 13. I did all the ordering on their website. waited 4 days, no tracking number. called them, the operator said it's not shipped and promised me it'd be sent via overnight service but actually it's shipped ground to their Hattiesburg center. He didn't seem very knowledgeable about how the company operates. the tracking number on their website took me to FedEx but the link in the email they sent me took me to UPS. I will shop there again if they improve their system. Cruxworks is one the few companies that ships to Canada."

"My first time to order from this business. Item was a Dazzle Zio Smart Media USB reader/writer. Product was well-described, ordering was easy, delivery was prompt. I will consider doing business with this company again. Found as a result of a search through pricewatch.com. "I used to have more respect for this company than I have now. I ordered a Viewsonic P90f 19 inch monitor from them. They didn't ship it out until it didn't arrive when I expected it to and I called them (cause I used a different ship to address than the billing address, fine) however they did refund my shipping (which was going to be $50???) and shipped it the next day. I got the monitor and the picture was seriously flawed. I got an RMA # and shipped it back to them (which cost me $21). I tracked the thing going back and they received it on October 7th. I called today (November 25th, 7 weeks later......) and after the third call finally got someone on the phone. It took 20 minutes to find out that they will be issuing a credit back to the card within 24 hours. That makes me wonder if they pull this with EVERY return. Luckily i'm not hurting for money right now cause most people don't have that kind of cash laying around being tied up because of someone's laziness.

Update: As of 12/06/02 I still have not gotten my money back. I called them on 12/01/02 and got the run around on the phone again. I was told on the phone that I had to email sales and they would take care of it. I emailed sales, a few hours later I got a response saying I would have the credit back on the card within "1-2 business days" from then. Sorry Cruxworks but this is not acceptable.......

"I ordered some DVD+R discs which I needed fairly quickly. After 3 days of no update on their order status page, I sent an e-mail asking status. Received no response, so after a week, I called and was told the order cancelled in the system. They reentered it, and I waited another couple of days. Still nothing happened, so I sent more e-mails with no response. After the second week of waiting, I called and had to leave voice mail asking them to cancel the order and credit my card. Still nothing for another two days. Finally got to talk to someone and they cancelled and credited my card (which was charged the day I originally placed the order). During this entire period, I sent 7 e-mails and not one was answered. Why have e-mail contacts if they won't bother to answer. My previous experience with them was good and I got my products with no problem, however, this time really turned me off to them."
